Join GastroJax at Friendship Fountain on March 23 for GastroFest Jacksonville s local food scene will be showcased for the world with tastings, demos, classes, panels, contests and more! We're excited about our second year at Friendship Fountain and partnership with the Museum of Science & History (MOSH)! TASTING VENDORS Tasting Vendors include any person/business preparing and serving dishes, including food trucks. We require that our tasting vendors provide at least one taste-size dish for $1 to $3 for sampling, but you are free to bring additional dishes at various prices as well. We prefer local ingredients if possible, vegan options are appreciated, and if you would like, we can help pair you with a local beverage. We request that you confirm your tasting dish(es) 14 days prior to the fest. Because this is a long festival, (11am-7pm) in order to ensure freshness of ingredients and give flexibility for restaurant participation, we are breaking up the day into 2 time blocks for tastings. Food Truck Tasting Vendors stay for the entire day 11am-7pm and pay a flat fee for a standard 24-ft space for the full 8 hours. Limited amount available. A tented, 12-ft space is provided for Regular Tasting Vendors. VENDOR FEE (cost is based on amount of space x the number of time blocks) $250 PER TIME SLOT Regular Tasting Vendors are placed under a tent and will have two 6 ft tables each, with a prep space behind. Food trucks stay for the entire day 11am-7pm and pay a fee of $350 for a standard 24-ft space for the full 8 hours. Limited amount available. Vendors handle their own cash transactions and keep all profits. TIME SLOTS Choose a Time Slot. We welcome you to choose both. If the application is rejected, monies will be refunded, less a $15 processing fee. YOU PROVIDE Equipment, food, servers, signage, cash box and/or credit card reader. WE PROVIDE Regular Tasting Vendors: Tented coverage, two six-foot tables, space for prep, electricity option, water, ice and/or cold storage a crowd of 30,000 attendees, and exposure through social media. Food Trucks: Get to stay the entire day with space for a 24-ft vehicle, ice and/or cold storage and a crowd of 30,000 attendees. WILL YOU NEED ELECTRICTY? 3 RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Registration will be considered upon receipt of payment and application. 2. Two weeks from GastroFest a description of the tasting item is needed for promotional purposes. 3. In the time leading up to GastroFest, all involved restaurants are required to mention & promote GastroFest on social media. 4. Tasting Vendors must always have a tasting item available for $1-$3, if you run out of their original sample item you MUST make another menu item a replacement sample item. 5. Food vendors will comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the State of Florida Health Department, city, state and federal laws as they apply. 6. No items will be served in a glass container of any kind. 7. Tasting Vendors will not be allowed to serve or sell alcoholic beverages. 8. No pets permitted. 9. The majority of the food prep should take place at the restaurant/food truck s normal place of business. 10. Food vendors using bottled gas must adhere to all restrictions specified by the Fire Marshal. 11. Participants must adhere to rules and regulations set forth in this document and City Ordinances and E. 12. Illegal vehicle, trailer, or RV parking is subject to any towing regulations enforced through the City of Jacksonville. GastroJax will not be responsible for any loss or towing fees incurred by the vendor s negligence. 13. Parking details will be made known to vendors 2 weeks prior to the GastroFest. We will provide one spot per vendor for vehicles under 7 feet. CLEANLINESS/TRASH REMOVAL Vendors will be responsible for keeping their space clean during GastroFest as well as cleaning up thoroughly before leaving and in accordance with the City of Jacksonville, Solid Waste Department requirements. The space provided must be clear of all debris at the conclusion of the event. Any space left unclean by the vendor could incur a cleaning fee. Any food vendor found dumping grease on the ground or any other area on the event property will bear the responsibility of cleaning and payment for any damage caused. Not adhering to this policy will result in being banned from future events.

4 GASTROFEST ACCEPTANCE OF RULES & REGULATIONS AND LIABILITY WAIVER I have read, understand and agree to abide by the above stated Rules & Regulations for GastroFest I have met all local, state and federal health inspection and licensing requirements. I do not hold GastroJax, the MOSH or the City of Jacksonville liable for any property damage or personal injury that either I or any of my representatives may incur at GastroFest. I accept full financial liability for my actions and all products that I or my representatives sell at the event. I fully understand that there is risk of injury to any and all parts of my body and I freely and expressly assume and accept all risk. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I acknowledge, understand and agree that this waiver shall include any rights or causes of action resulting from personal injury to me or property damage sustained by me in connection with my participation in GastroFest. I have made no misrepresentations to GastroJax or GastroFest, its agents, employees, volunteers or directors regarding my products, age or liability. I have carefully read and fully understand the contents of this Waiver of Liability and I sign it of my own free will. 5 MEDIA RELEASE I understand that my company/company representatives may be filmed and photographed during the event and I give GastroJax permission to do so and grant to the Festival the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs. I understand that all footage is the property and rights of GastroJax and agree that I/my company will not receive any compensation for the use of any images or likeness in the filming or airing of the Festival. GastroJax reserves the right to use all recipes, photos, and biographies in promotional materials including, but not limited to, the official website, advertising and marketing collateral, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name/company name in connection with any use GastroJax so chooses. I/my company releases and discharges GastroJax from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, biographies, or recipes, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of GastroJax, as well as the person(s) for whom GastroJax took the photographs. I am a legally competent adult and have the right to contract in my own and my company s name. I have read this document and fully understand its contents.
