2 Work Package 3 Task 3.1 Strategic outlook of ASIs The first aim of WP3 is to identify new ICT enabled services that have the potential to: reduce transport demand; transfer to efficient mode of transport and make use of the already built transport infrastructure in a more efficient way The second aim of WP3 is to identify characteristics of successful multisided digital platforms (MSDP), which can facilitate the combination of ASIs and enable direct interactions between different service providers and groups of users

3 Defining accessibility Accessibility means how accessible something is often used in contrast to inaccessibility and exclusion for certain groups. the ability of individuals to participate in necessary or desired activities for the wellbeing of humanity (Waters 2016, p. 29)

4 Defining mobility Mobility can be said to generally represent a movement in space. It includes all concepts of transport of traffic, but can also refer to other forms of movement corporeal mobility of people moving physically through space (Urry, 2000)

5 In general, accessibility becomes as a service when it does not require the hardware to use whatever one needs by oneself, nor to go to it - when something can be accessed using ICT, in the comfort of one s current location. Likewise, mobility as a service is mobility that does not require ownership of a car, and simplifies getting wherever one needs go. We do not regard mobility as a goal in itself, but rather as the means to reaching and thereby accessing what one needs Focus on accessibility in urban areas

6 What is a promising service? Is it environmentally sustainable? Does it reduce negative impacts on the environment (reduce carbon emissions, use of space). Is it rewardable? Is value created for an organization? Make use of new sustainable business models (deliver functionality instead of products, demand management etc. Is it attractive from a user perspective? Do they support individuals needs? household activities?

8 Data collection Data collected between March August 2017 Different websites, grey literature, and peer reviewed or journal articles through snowballing Different published articles (e.g. digital news, reports, and others) and scientific papers, Not limited to a specific context, country, or region. Collected cases first in Sweden, region, Europe, and then across the world. Period: Case information categorization 1.case name, description, year founded, place, link to the source 2. commercialized, concept, or pilot projects
