2 MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT SHAWN WILKIE Hey everyone! Based on the weather outside, I d say Spring has sprung! I hope you re all as excited as I am about getting outside and seeing what the winter has wrought and what can be done to tidy up for the year ahead. As you begin thinking about the projects you plan to undertake on your own property, the Board is considering the same things on behalf of the neighborhood. I hope you ll take the time to fill out the paper survey that was included in the mailing that delivered your pool/tennis membership renewal form, or else go to to share your thoughts. Your involvement and input is what makes this neighborhood great, and we appreciate everyone s opinions. Speaking of the pool/tennis renewal form, please remember that your application is due to be returned soon, along with the payment for your annual homeowners dues. If you ve set the invoice aside as so many of us do since we have until the end of this month to pay it take a minute right now to go find it and mail it in. We don t want anyone to miss out on updating your pool cards or have to pay a late fee because you forgot. I m looking forward to seeing everyone out and about. Please wave or stop to visit for a moment if you see me (or any of your other neighbors) around the neighborhood. See you soon! Your neighbor, Shawn Copperfield is a Great Place to Live! Reminder! All HOA Dues and Pool Applications are due by April 5th Waste Management Update Andy Reynolds, representative of Waste Management, spoke at the Annual HOA meeting in February. He explained that a code is assigned to all Copperfield residents accounts so that the contracted rate for additional services such as yard waste and recycling is automatically billed. Waste Management is aware that some Copperfield residents have been overcharged for their recycling and/or yard waste service, and is working hard to correct the issue, and provide credits to effected customers. If you have any questions, or think you may have been overcharged, please contact our Customer Service department at

There have been a number of comments about the pot holes that have opened up in our streets this winter. The streets of Copperfield are maintained by Metro Governments road maintenance crew. If there are places in need of repair on your street, it is very easy to report and have the road crew repair them. There are two easy ways of reporting, Metro 311, or Online at click on metro public works, then pothole repair. Identifying the location is easy, all the road crew needs is the location of the pothole. The address if the pothole is in the middle of a street. If the pothole is near an intersection identify that intersection. They will find the problem and make the repair normally within three days.
