He is passionate about creating web experiences that work beautifully and look beautiful. As the lead Site Optimization UI Engineer at Orbitz Worldwide, he has built the development practice within their site experimentation and optimization group from the ground up. As the design lead at Starbase Go, he has helped people more creative than him craft amazing web projects. He s the author of Building Responsive Data Visualization for the Web, a book on the processes of building code-driven data visualization upon the principles of responsive web design. Tracy Green is the visionary Head of Strategy in the Parliamentary Digital Service. Leading on the development of a digital strategy for Parliament, Tracy is also the founder of the Exploring Digital ( seminar series and co-founder of Accountability Hack ( accountabilityhack.org/). In a role that allows her to combine a fascination with politics with a love for technology, Tracy is relishing the opportunity to have a real impact on the way Parliament works in the UK. Recent challenges include establishing the new Parliament Digital Service as part of the senior leadership team, running 37 workshops in 6 weeks and engaging more than 300 people to develop Parliament s digital strategy and helping to build the digital capability Parliament needs for the future.
