2 2015 PRODUCT SALE 2015 PRODUCT SALES This year s product sale plans to be bolder and bigger than any previous sales. The goal of the product sale is to help your unit raise the necessary funds to provide a quality Scouting program to your Scouts and families. Trails End Popcorn and Jack LInks Beef Jerky are both a customer favorite and a nutrious snack that everyone loves. 4 2015 PRODUCT SALES NEW UNIT INCENTIVE Eligibility: Any unit that did not participate in the popcorn sale in 2013 and Our unit agrees to participate in the 2015 popcorn sale to support our unit activities and the quality programs of the. Unit Leaders Primer HELPING TO BUILD THE ADVENTURE 2. Our unit agrees to assign a volunteer product sale chairperson, whose primary role in the unit during 2015 will be to promote and organize the product sale. 3. Our unit s volunteer product sale chair will attend trainings held, including the product sale kickoff held in August to fully understand all aspects of the sale. 4. Our unit will hold a unit product sale kickoff prior to the beginning of the sale to create energy around the sale, train our Scouts, families, and leaders on all aspects of the sale and to emphasize its importance to all our members. 5. Our unit agrees to promote and participate in all phases of the sale Show & Sell, Take Order, and online to fully realize the best sales possible. 6. Our unit agrees to submit to popcorn@nhscouting.org an annual program plan and budget for our unit by August 15, Our unit agrees to pay our total amount due to the Daniel Webster Council no later than December 2, Our unit understands that in exchange for agreeing to the above conditions, and for the 2015 popcorn sale only, we will receive: an increase of unit commission from the standard rate to 40%. This will not apply to Beef Jerky sales. SALES GROWTH INCENTIVE Eligibility: Unit must have participated in the 2014 sale to be eligible. 1. Units that sold at least $1,500 in gross sales in 2014 are eligible. 2. Unit must pay their total amount due to the no later than December 2, Units that achieve an increase in gross sales as follows will receive the following based on the below forumla. 7 WAYS TO SELL Units are encouraged to participate in each of the sale types for maxiumum results and fundraising sucess. SHOW AND SELL Your den, pack, or troop gets permission to sell in front of a retail store or in the local mall. You set up a display with products for people to purchase as they walk by. Have plenty of products on display for people to buy. Show and Sell is available for Popcorn and Beef Jerky. TAKE ORDER This is the most traditional way to sell; going door-to-door with the take order form, which you receive from your leader or council. Your customer chooses the product(s) he or she wishes to buy and writes the order on your form. You will collect the money when you deliver the product to your customers a few weeks later. Take order is only available for Popcorn. SELLING ONLINE This is the best way to sell to your friends and family who live out of town. You can send s to your customers asking them to purchase Trail s End products online. Your customers click on the link in your and can begin shopping right away. They order products online and pay with a credit card, and Trail s End ships the products directly to your customers. Selling online is only available for Trails End Popcorn. HELPING TO BUILD THE ADVENTURE WEEKLY SCOUT INCENTIVES Scouts will have the opportunity to earn prizes thoughtout the sale in addition to the prize program offered. Week #1 September 26 Scouts selling at least $200 - $10 Scout Shop card (15 awarded) Week #2 October 2 Scouts selling at least $400 - $25 Scout Shop gift card (8 awarded) Week #3 October 9 Scouts selling at least $600 - $50 Scout Shop gift card (5 awarded) Week #4 - October 16 Scouts selling at least $750 - $50 DWC Gift Card (8 awarded) Week #5 October 23 Scouts selling at least $1000 JBL Clip Portable Bluetooth Speaker (5 awarded) Week #6 October 30 Scouts selling at least $ $75 DWC Gift Card (8 awarded) DWC Gift Card may only be used at camping facilities operated by the. Copies of Take Order Forms and other documentation must be submitted by 4:00 PM to be eligible for the weekly drawing.
