3 A great role for an individual with an active interest and experience in the arts and cultural sector and a natural flair for digital marketing You will take responsibility for and help shape and implement digital marketing strategies for Culture Republic and our Partners and Clients. You will deliver hands on support for on digital marketing and advertising campaigns (social media and website) to raise awareness of Culture Republic s programmes and services to the widest possible audience. Responsibilities: 1. Create and deliver imaginative business to business marketing strategies and tactics to promote and position Culture Republic s work, programme and services, raise awareness and engage target audiences with agreed key messages and generate revenues. 2. Work closely with the Marketing Campaigns manager and wider CR team on the creation of campaign and social advertising content and web development to generate leads and enquiries for new business 3. Work closely with the entire Culture Republic team to ensure excellent CRM, in order that potential issues enquiries, leads and customer themes are fed back to the Culture Republic team and dealt with appropriately, quickly, consistently and imaginatively across all channels 4. Create and deliver content for the Culture Republic social media channels and website working with the Content Producer to populate the ongoing editorial calendar 5. Create case study content to produce Culture Republic s sales presentation and promotional materials to the highest standards and in line with Culture Republic s brand messages and values 6. Identify tactical opportunities to promote Culture Republic s work and come up with ideas to maximise the benefits of our work across the Cultural sector 7. Developing strategies to increase loyalty and retention, liaising with key Partners and clients across the organisation and externally through informed communications and marketing activity 8. Provide digital marketing support and practical assistance in response to the needs of our Partners, clients and stakeholders 9. Co-ordinate and communicate involvement in any promotional activity with colleagues in the Culture Republic team in order to maximise synergy, efficiency and impact in campaign delivery 10. Ensure quality standards and integration of the CR brand in marketing campaigns and across all social media channels. 11. Help to run, promote and record Partnership and Network cultivation events to maximise awareness and benefits of attendance, generate revenues and create sharable content and future promotional material 12. Use Google Analytics and other available programmes, analyse user journeys, attendance and engagement patterns to generate actionable insight for future audience development and commercial growth 3

4 BSc/BA degree in Marketing or a related field or business related discipline together with practical experience in Digital Marketing Skills: 1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 2. A creative, imaginative thinker with the ability to identify various angles and news hooks, tailoring digital content for different audiences and platforms 3. Proven experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, measure and deliver results 4. In-depth knowledge of good practice in social media, 5. Advanced practical skills and experience digital media tools/channels ( Wordpress, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Slack, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck preferable but not essential) and their application (including social media channels e.g. twitter, Facebook, linked in, SEO, keywords, PPC, etc) 6. Relationship building with supporters/contacts and being able to understand / pre-empt their needs and communicate about Culture Republic s programmes and services 7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications esp. PowerPoint to support production of branded presentations. Experience with Photoshop and/or Adobe illustrator an advantage. 8. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinker 9. An ability to keep calm under pressure 10. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise work, handle conflicting demands and meeting tight deadlines 11. Good practice and understanding of HTML and web design Experience: 1. Proven working experience in marketing - demonstrable experience leading, setting up, managing and optimising web, SEO, marketing database, , social media and/or advertising/promotional campaigns 2. Strong organisational skills, being able to demonstrate evidence of previous marketing and project planning, delivery and management. 3. 5 Reports to: Strategic Planning Director Hours: Full time 35 hours per week over 7 days as required. Largely office hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) although flexible in relation to business demands. Holidays: 38 days inclusive of all public holiday entitlement of which all staff members are required to use up to 3 days annual leave to cover closure between Christmas and New Year. A further 6 days annual leave should be used to cover other public holidays when the office will be closed i.e. Christmas Day, Boxing Day (or equivalent public holidays), New Years Day and January 2 holidays (or their equivalent), Good Friday and Easter Monday. Salary: 26-28,000 per annum. Starting salary and remuneration is commensurate with experience. Overtime is not applicable to this post. Pension: A CR contributory pension will commence in July Location: Culture Republic is based in The Whisky Bond, Dawson Road, Glasgow, G4 9SS The post will be largely office based, however, as we deliver work nationally you may be required to travel to support programme delivery from time to time.
