Fotisi s MineCon 2017 Ticket Ordering Guide An unofficial informative and instructional guide on buying tickets to the official MineCon convention from the ticketing website Eventbrite. Mojang AB has used Eventbrite to sell MineCon tickets since 2013.

If Mojang decides to offer a limited amount of tickets for MineCon 2017, with less than four minutes (3:59) to complete the purchase process, and utilize Eventbrite to sell its tickets as it has in the past, then you will want to follow the below steps in order to minimize the amount of time it will take for you to buy tickets, should you be one of the lucky individuals who gets to see the order screen. Minecon 2013 was limited to only 7500 tickets, sold in 3 separate batches of Minecon 2015 was limited to only 10,000, sold in two 5,000 batches. Minecon 2016 was limited to only 12,000, sold in two batches of 6,000. But these batches sellout in a matter of seconds, with the first batch in 2015 selling out in just 3 seconds. For many Minecraft enthusiasts, this was a very surreal moment as their dreams of getting a chance to go to Minecon were quickly evaporating. With the odds of getting a Minecon ticket bordering that of getting struck by lightning, this guide is to help fans prepared themselves for the release of these fast selling batches.

For many who desired to attend the event in 2013, they never got past Evenbrite s Pending screen. For those who did get the opportunity to purchase tickets, they had to select the Quantity desired and the Order Now button quickly, or face the Pending page once the page refreshed.

This is where following the instructions below will be greatly beneficial, as you will only get 3:59 minutes to enter the information required by Eventbrite, or suffer losing your tickets placed on hold for that duration. The difference in not being prepared for when tickets eventually go on sale, is either witnessing the SOLD OUT notification, or your ticket(s).

If Mojang utilizes Eventbrite again, you will want to follow these directions below to be better prepared. Pre-Ticket sale Prep: 1. Open your web browser and visit 2. Select Sign up in the top right section of the page. 3. Enter your address and then enter a Password. 4. Select the Sign up button.

5. Exit the Welcome screen. 6. Select your name (User ID) at the top of the page, and then select Account.

7. Complete the Contact Information by entering your First and Last name, along with a contact number (Home or Cell).

8. Complete the Billing Address and Shipping Address. This will pre-populate on the Order screen and save you time from having to enter it manually and making any mistakes that may void the order. 9. Select the Save button to complete the process

On the day tickets go on sale for MineCon 2017, you will want to launch your web browser, visit and login. This will guarantee that your account information will pre-populate the order form (cached cookies). You will want to open a separate tab for the ticket sale link. Once the Order screen appears in your attempt to acquire tickets, you will only have to enter your payment information as the rest of your account information will be pre-populated by completing the previous steps. It would be smart for you to have your credit/debit card in front of you at the time of purchase, but more advantageous if you typed your 16-digit credit/debit card number into a text or word doc ahead of time, confirming you have the correct 16 digit numbers, including the 3-digit verification number on the back of the card, so that you can copy and paste your credit card information into the ordering page instead of typing it. Incorrect payment information will cost you your tickets if the order is not processed within the time limit provided.
