2 About us Our Programme Digital Mums is a social media solution like no other Join the 300+ organisations that have worked with us as Programme Partners Women with children lack flexible work opportunities. Most SMEs don t need full-time social media management, but lack high-quality outsourcing options. We solve both these problems with a single solution. We take the natural talents and skills of mums, add some innovative social media training and produce highcalibre social media managers. We ve connected over 300 organisations with social media support to date. All of our Digital Mums have marketing, communications, PR or journalism backgrounds. We re completely dedicated to creating rewarding, flexible careers for women that fit around their family commitments, while providing businesses a high-quality, flexible and affordable social media solution. We run a special Programme for businesses that work with Digital Mums trainees, effectively working like a digital apprenticeship. We know the best way for our students to learn is to have an actual client for them to work with. This lets them apply everything they learn in real-time in a real world environment. We call the organisations that work with our Digital Mums in training Programme Partners. Because our Digital Mums are still in training, we only charge you a very low one-off fee. Our Trainees get a real client to work with to support them to upskill and kickstart their new career in social media. You get a capable marcomms professional, developing and executing a social media strategy over a period of six months. It s the best value social media solution on the market, hands-down. 2 3

3 How it Works Matching 1.Find out if you qualify Fill out our assessment form and speak to our team to make sure you re a good fit to become a Progamme Partner. 2. Tell us more about your business We ll send you a brief to determine your campaign objective. All our Digital Mums go through a rigorous application process All have backgrounds in marketing, PR, comms, or journalism. We know that jumping straight into working with a live client is intensive, so we take great effort to ensure that all trainees are well-prepared and ready for the task at hand. The matching of Trainees to Programme Partners is done solely at the discretion of the Digital Mums team - Programme Partners do not get to pick the Trainee that they work with. When matching we take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, previous experience, interests and location. 5 What you get Costs Here s a run down of the outputs you ll receive by becoming a Programme Partner We offer the best value social media solution out there 10 hours per week spent on social media marketing for your business over a period of six months. Upfront strategy development with support from a digital marketing consultant. Key marketing outputs for your business including: customer profiles of your target audience, a stakeholder map of key influencers in your space, and a bank of useful content to share. An eight week strategic campaign run across two social media channels. Weekly progress updates so you know how your student is meeting your objectives. A final report to assess the impact your student has made, with key recommendations for your business going forward. Because our Digital Mums are still in training we charge extremely low fees for the support we offer. The total costs are: 500 (ex. VAT) - this is a simple administration fee that pays for the delivery of the Programme. It s a one-off payment you make before confirming your place. 100 advertising spend - many social media platforms are effectively low cost advertising platforms. To maximise the impact you have on them, you need an advertising budget. This is not a fee you pay to us, but rather one purely for your own organisation s benefit. You won t have to make this payment until four months into the Programme - we just ask for the commitment to spending it. And that s it. If you work it out on a weekly basis that s around 20 per week. Many of our Programme Partners go on to hire their Digital Mum beyond the six months (although there is no obligation to do so). If you do decide to do this, we ask for another oneoff 300 (ex. VAT) as a finder s fee. 8 9

6 Do you qualify? We re looking for the right organisations to work with our trainees Here s the criteria we look for in organisations that join us as Programme Partners: You have a website Organisations without a website are too early-stage for us. You don t have unrealistic expectations of driving sales Social media can drive sales, but social media is, ultimately, a long game. Driving lots of sales in a short period of time is unrealistic and wanting to do so puts unnecessary pressure on our trainees. You re not planning a re-brand This can be seriously disruptive to a social media campaign. If you are planning one, you can join as a Programme Partner once it s finished up. You have Google Analytics (or are willing to have it set-up) Diving deep into your web analytics is an important part of our students learning. You offer a supportive, nurturing environment Digital Mums is all about upskilling and retraining mothers - they are not a cheap resource for businesses. Being accomodating and offering the space for our trainees to learn is crucial. Fit the criteria? Next step is to go here and fill out our Assessment Form
