2 THE MURRAY BRIDGE BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION INVITES YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS TO BECOME A SPONSOR OF THE LOCAL ASSOCIATION. WHO ARE WE The Murray Bridge Basketball Association (MBBA) was established in 1970 and our stadium is located in the Showground complex on the east side of Murray Bridge. The Association is made up of six individual clubs with competitions ranging from Under Tens through to Senior Men and Women grades. Approximately 460 players take part each week, with junior boys on Monday nights, junior girls on Tuesday nights and the senior competition on Wednesday nights. We have many players who are currently representing the State and the Country at Junior levels and some past players who have gone on to make careers from this sport. WHY DO WE NEED YOU. Our Association is completely self-funded through fees from players, participating clubs and some hiring out of facilities. Facilities are leased from the local council and all upgrades of courts and maintenance of the internal facilities must be funded by us. Our sport is played in two seasons, summer and winter, so our facilities are being used the full year. Currently our major need is the replacement of the floor of Court 3 which is actually becoming dangerous to play on and will likely be deemed unusable before we can raise the funds to replace it. We have received a small grant to help us along but there is still a substantial amount of funding required. We also need help with the some of the running costs, general facility upgrades and maintaining a consistent level of junior development for our future stars.

3 HOW CAN WE HELP EACH OTHER.. A partnership with us will be beneficial for your business as well as the MBBA. Sponsoring the Murray Bridge Basketball Association is a great way for your business to show how you support the local community. In addition to the 460 players and their coaches there are also team managers, family and supporters that attend games. There are many other events held at the stadium that will give exposure to your business signage. These events include: Murray Bridge Show Murray Bridge Basketball Carnival (held over the October long weekend each year) with approximately 1000 visitors Murraylands Careers Expo South Australian Masters Games in April 2016 Private Functions Various Training Sessions for Association and Junior Development Teams and also State Teams. Your sponsorship of our Association will allow us to continue to provide the local community with access to safe facilities and the ability to participate in a rewarding sport without the payment of excessive fees (because this would exclude many). We will encourage our members to use your business when possible. The Sponsors Board is located on the wall at the end of the main entrance hallway, so everyone that comes to play and watch will see that you support the MBBA Attached are a number of sponsorship options that we are confident will provide great exposure for your business.

We will ensure them major patronage and support. The package includes: A link to their business on the MBBA website Literature sent out to visiting teams when organising the Carnival. Signage up to 1800cm x 1200cm in the Stadium An A4 sized sign on the Sponsors Board at the Stadium entry Sponsorship doesn t need to be a cash donation - it can be in-kind or goods.
