4 How to Step Custom Pricing Menu Items buttons. 2. Select a department, category and menu item, then Touch Ok button. 3. Under Main Settings, Touch the arrow, a pull down menu appears, select custom, then touch Item Cost button. 4. Enter menu item custom price in the price box. Food menu items do NOT include tax. Alcoholic menu items will include taxes. Based on your menu items type, either touch the Price Includes Tax Box, a checkmark will appear or leave it blank. 5. For Tax 1, touch the arrow, a pull down menu will appear, select sales tax. Touch Ok button. Touch Close button. How to Set Up Pricing Groups Pricing Groups buttons. 2. Touch New button. 3. Enter new pricing group name, in pricing group box. Enter new pricing group price in the price box. Depending upon the type menu items (food or alcoholic drinks) attached to pricing group, the price includes tax box will be either have a checkmark in the price includes tax box, or it will be left blank. For Tax 1, touch the down arrow, a pull down menu will appear, select Sales Tax. Then touch Ok button. How to Step Up Pricing Groups with Pricing Levels Pricing Levels buttons. 2. Touch New button. 3. From the Pricing Level setting screen, enter new pricing level name in the pricing level box. 4. Enter level description and short description. Level description refers to size or quality, for example, level description can be small, middle large or half dozen or dozen. Short description will be an abbreviation of level description. Large is abbreviated as Lg. Touch Save button. 5. Repeat Step 4 for all different sizes. 6. Touch Close button. How to Attach Pricing Level to a Pricing Group Pricing Groups buttons. Select appropriate pricing group, then touch Select button. 3. From the Pricing group setting screen, in the pricing level box, there is an arrow, touch the arrow, a pull down menu appears, select appropriate pricing level. 4. Select level by touching the down arrow in the level box. A pull down menu will appear. Xenios 2013 Page 4

5 5. In the price box, enter price for the small menu item. For this example, we have draft beer; pint cost $4.00, which includes tax. For Tax 1, touch the down arrow, a pull down menu will appear, select Sales Tax. 6. Touch Ok Button 7. Select next level (size) & repeat Step 4. Then Repeat step 5 & 6. How to Step Up a Dynamic Pricing for a Holiday or Special Event Dynamic Pricings buttons. 2. From the dynamic pricing screen, touch New button. 3. From the dynamic pricing setting screen, enter description (name of dynamic pricing), select a time and end time only if your dynamic pricings runs at a specific time; 4 to 8, touch Manual Special box, select from the pull down menu (entire ticket, current order & selected items only). 4. Because you are creating a dynamic pricing for a holiday, touch the custom circle, a circle will appear. 5. Touch Custom Calendar button 6. Select holiday date the dynamic pricing will be activated on, for example, St. Patrick s Day is March 17 th, select March 17 th, Touch Save button. 7. Depending on your specific dynamic pricings, select from the pricing groups and/or category and menu item(s). 8. Next to the pricing group box, touch Add Group button and next to menu item box, touch Add Item button. Select menu item(s) and/or groups, then Touch Set Discount button. 9. Select a discount description, exact amount, amount off, percent off, additional amount or additional percent. The box next to discount description is where amounts and percentages will be entered, then touch Apply button. 10. Touch Save button. 11. Repeat step 11. How to Create Happy Hour Dynamic Pricings Dynamic pricings buttons. 2. From the dynamic pricing screen, touch New button. 3. From the dynamic pricing screen, enter name of dynamic pricing in the Description box, select a time and end time; 4 to 8, touch Manual Special box, select from three different options in the pull down menu; entire ticket, current order & selected items only. 4. Touch Weekly circle, a circle will appear. Choose days of the week your dynamic pricing will run. You will see a checkmark appear next to the days selected. 5. Touch Price button. 6. Depending on your specific dynamic pricings, select from the pricing groups and/or category and menu item(s). 7. Next to the pricing group box, touch Add Group button and next to menu item box, touch Add Item button. Select menu item(s) and/or groups, then Touch Set Discount button. Xenios 2013 Page 5

6 8. Select a discount description, exact amount, amount off, percent off, additional amount or additional percent. The box next to discount description is where amounts and percentages will be entered, then touch Apply button. 9. Touch Save button. 10. Repeat step 7-9. Xenios 2013 Page 6
