4 Booster Packs FAQs 1. What is the MTN WiFi Fixedline? A 4G fixedline best suited for business use, providing both voice and WiFi for up to 8 users. 2. What are Booster Packs? These are all-in-one communication packages designed to give your business an edge over the rest. They include voice, SMS and data services, with free calls within the business group, free 30-day trials on any of our business management software, and instant signup as a MoMoPay Merchant with special rates. 3. How much do I pay every month after the first month? Your monthly payment depends on the MTN Kazi Bundle you choose to load every month after the first month. See page 6 for details on the different MTN Kazi bundles. 4. What are the Apps and how can I get them? These are online business management software applications designed to simplify your day-to-day business operations. See pages 8 and 9 for details on available software and how to sign up. 5. 6 Enjoy FREE business calls with MTN Kazi Bundles MTN Kazi Bundles service provides voice minutes, SMS and data that you can share with your colleagues, partners or employees in a group for smoother running of your business. The bundle is loaded on one main number, and shared automatically with other numbers in the same group. All this in addition to free calls to all group members using your MTN Kazi bundle. FEATURES: Bundles are valid for 30 days. Numbers in the sharing group can call each other for free, enabling you to maintain a fixed and affordable monthly communication budget for your business. Up to 3 groups per business, each with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 numbers sharing a bundle. So you can have up to 48 numbers calling each other for free. 7 HOW TO SIGN UP: Log into the MyMTN app and go to MySelfService > More MTN Services > MTN KaziAccount. Sign up with a business name or customer name, and the name and phone number of the contact person for the business or group. You also need to have your Main number and Secondary numbers registered and ready. You can also sign up at any MTN Service Centre near you. HOW TO BUY A BUNDLE OR CHECK YOUR BALANCE: Dial *160*81# to load a bundle on the Main number using Airtime or Mobile Money, or check balance on any of your numbers. On the MyMTN app, go to MySelfService > More MTN Services > MTN KaziAccount. Download the MyMTN app at HOW IT WORKS: The bundle is loaded on the main number, so the main number determines how the minutes, SMS and data are to be shared. The other numbers that share the bundle are attached to the Main number. A minimum of 3 other numbers must be added. Minutes, SMS and data are shared equally by default. The validity of allocated minutes, SMS and data is the same as the validity of the bundle (30 days). Customized sharing of minutes, SMS and data is also possible in case you want some numbers to get more minutes, SMS or data than others.

9 Apps How to sign up and use this online store. Step one: Visit and register your account with business and contact details Select a product of your choice from the Marketplace Go to Checkout to confirm your order and pay with Mobile Money A payment request will be sent to your MTN Mobile number after you confirm the order. The payment is completed when you approve the request by entering your Mobile Money PIN For a free trial, select a trial package from the Marketplace Step two: Go to Manage Services to view the applications you have purchased. Go to Manage People to add users to your account. Go to Manage Services to assign application licenses to the users on your account, including yourself. Go to the Dashboard to access your application and start using the service. Step three: You can upgrade your subscription at any time by selecting a package with more users or capabilities from those available on the Marketplace To renew your monthly subscription, look out for the payment request on your MTN Mobile number at the end of your bill cycle (same day every month as the date when you first signed up) or check your for the payment reminder.

13 MTN MoMo MoMoPay Merchant Guide. How much does it cost to use MoMoPay? For every received payment, the merchant will be charged 1% of the value of the payment for the Individual Merchant and 2% for the Business Merchant. Customers use MoMoPay for free. Business Merchants who sign up for MoMoPay when they purchase an Booster Pack will be given a special MoMoPay rate. How do I access the MoMoPay service? To start using MoMoPay, you need to fill out a MoMoPay application form and provide us with some business information. Visit the nearest MTN Service Centre, or customerservice.ug@mtn.com or call 128. How long does it take to activate the MoMoPay service? Individuals: Your MoMoPay account will be set up on the same day you submit your request. Businesses: MTN will contact you when your MoMoPay account is ready so we can get your business set up and ready to transact as soon as possible. In both instances, your KYC documents must pass validation. How can I confirm my Merchant Code? To view your Merchant Code, dial *165*3# and select View your ID. Can I make payments for my customers? (Coming soon) With MoMoPay you can make utility payments like NWSC and UMEME for your customers. These payments are free of charge to you, and you will get commission. Dial *165*3# and select Pay for Customer then follow the steps. You will need the customer account details and their phone number to complete this transaction. What is the difference between MoMopay and sending Mobile Money? A customer is charged when they send Mobile Money while paying for goods and services while using MoMoPay is free for the customer. How will the customer know my Merchant Code? All merchant premises will have a 6-digit merchant code displayed prominently for the customer to see. To pay for services, a customer dials *165*3# and then enters the merchant code, the amount to pay and the Mobile Money PIN. This transaction is free for the customer. How long will it take for me to receive payments through MoMoPay? MoMoPay payments are received immediately. Both the customer and the merchant are immediately notified via SMS with confirmation of the transaction. How do I access my funds that have been received through MoMoPay? You can access these funds to pay your supplier through MoMoPay or to pay salaries of your employees. You can also transfer these funds to your bank account via the merchant portal or mobile app. To get the funds as physical cash, just visit a Mobile Money agent or an ATM. How secure is MoMoPay? MoMoPay is a secure service and the transactions are carried out using your MTN Mobile Money PIN. Remember to always keep your PIN safe.

14 I have more than 1 branch, do I need to get a different account for each branch/till? No, you only need one application for your business. Merchants with several branches or tills will need to fill an additional form to request separate till numbers for the different locations or tills. How do I reverse a wrong/double payment? If you receive a payment that is meant for a different merchant or the customer enters a wrong amount when paying you, then you have to dial *165*3#, select Reverse Transaction and follow the prompts. The merchant will need the Transaction ID to complete the reversal.
