2 Community Marketing Facilitators To develop a community based intermediary system for regular flow of products from producers to customers to minimize the gap between points of production to points of consumption and thereby relieve the small scale entrepreneurs from the challenges of marketing their own products, by 30 th April, Selection, Training and Placement of Community Marketing Facilitators Coordination of all marketing activities/mobilise entrepreneurs to various avenues of sales Nano marketing, Nattuchantha, Basars, Online Marketing, SARAS/IITF/Aajeevika Melas etc Development of a MIS or mechanism for reporting and monitoring the activities of CMFs and sales in different marketing events Guideline on selection & placement of CMF Operation Manual for CMFs for facilitating/attending Nano markets, Nattuchantha, Trade Fairs, Basar and online marketing

3 Nano Marketing To achieve a sales turnover of Rs 5-10 crores for Kudumbashree products by establishing 500 nano marketing outlets across Kerala by 31st December Identification of locations (Panchayaths / Municipalities / Corporations/public places) for establishing nano outlets Display shelf in LSGIs/Public places, Shelf Space in leading outlets etc Designing Shelves/KIOSKS or Customised Vending Machines Develop a system for regular procurement, display and sales of products in Nano markets Guideline for Nano Marketing

4 Nattuchantha To enhance the income of non - farm entrepreneurs in Nattuchantha to Rs. 20 crores in by increasing the coverage and frequency of participation of MEs in Nattuchantha to all 941 GPs and to at least twice-in-a-month and by increasing the participation of MEs in Nattuchantha from less than 1000 to 5000 Assistance for design, development and establishment of women friendly (easy to setup) temporary or semi permanent selling facilities (strengthening existing ones and financing new ones) Develop a system for mobilizing entrepreneurs to Nattuchantha through CMFs Development of Mobile application to record sales in each week / month Revised guideline for Nattuchantha to govern non farm MEs, CMFs and CDSs

5 Kudumbashreebasar.com To enhance the product base of existing e-commerce store from 150 to specialty products and achieve a sales target of Rs. 2 crores and an online footfall of 2 lakhs in Undertake promotional activities(social media campaign, print/visual media advertisements etc) Training of entrepreneurs, Standardization & branding of packing materials Development of a cost effective back end system for logistics of products in and out Kerala Identify more products/entrepreneurs through district level exhibitions Selection & Placement of Online Sales Team or Agency Total Business Process Outsourcing Order monitoring, customer care cell, online tracking of courier shipments, online payment management, search engine optimization, technical training/support to entrepreneurs, social media promotion, overall monitoring & feedback Selection & Placement of Online Sales Team or Agency Development of sustainable back end system

6 Kudumbashree Basar To establish state of the art shopping outlets in the form of Kudumbashree Basars in all 14 districts by September 30th 2018 and thereby generate an sales turnover of Rs. 4-5 crores by March Formation of entrepreneurs consortium / Ex. Committee / Mgt. Committee / Mgt. Unit Hiring of commercial spaces / launching of basars Establishing system for regular procurement, disbursement of commission etc Tie Ups with other Depts / Agencies for supplying non-kudumbashree essential commodities Tie Ups with others Supply Co, Margin Free etc

7 Café Kudumbashree Promotion & Branding To Improve the brand value of Café Kudumbashree by providing hands-on trading experience to women entrepreneurs by conducting at least 100 food festivals (district, state, national & international) and to facilitate setting up of event management teams in selected Districts Associate with state/national/international events organized by Media Houses and Government agencies. Develop a sustainable model for café Kudumbashree food fests / A State level workshop on Way Forward Promote district level food festivals to develop sub brands and event management teams Conduct a state level food festival competition among district level café Kudumbashree brands Set up (Coffee house model) a restaurant chain of Café Kudumbashree across Kerala Develop an SOP for Food Fests Guidelines for restaurant chain

8 Participating in SARAS To participate in 50+ SARAS Melas outside SARAS and conduct two SARAS in the State and sell Kudumbashree products through 300 stalls and achieve a sales of Rs 15 crore Deployment of CMF from districts in various SARAS / Engage Block Coordinators for facilitation and coordination Pooling of interested entrepreneurs and developing a system to provide equal opportunities Development of Mobile application to record sales in SARAS and ensure monitoring of value of products carried and sold Guidelines for participating in SARAS

9 Festival / Seasonal Fairs Achieve a sales turnover of Rs. 60 Crores through conduct of two Festival Fairs in all GPs/MCs/Corporations during Onam & Christmas Guidelines / MIS / Awards Convergence with MKSP, other Depts

10 Community Distribution Network To develop a distribution system in five selected Districts to match the entrepreneurs and customers by obtaining quality products at a reasonable price and then re-selling them to wholesale distributors or to existing and new Kudumbashree Basars/Home Shops & Home Shoppers that need them. Identify Districts / Blocks by Conducting a Study Develop a Business Model / revise Homeshop Guidelines Develop a supply chain & logistics network (employment to 1200 women) Outsourcing the system (logistics delivery) to other players in the market (eg. Online shopping giants) Policy Decision : Guideline for distribution system

11 Post Production Facility Centres To develop two-three market synchronised post production centres in selected sectors that produce quality products to improve products or its variants by adapting to the target market oriented design, form, quality, color and costing towards uniform brand identity (brand name, packaging and labels) to maintain steady and standard quality supply of products for bigger markets / international markets (Eg. Food/Snacks/Squash, Jam, Pickle/Honey etc) Market Studies as part of understanding the scope of introducing branded products of Kudumbashree Evaluate the readiness of Kudumbashree and to assess whether Kudumbashree can support fast growth, facilitate the increased demand, provide adequate staffing/supply lines/processes to handle the increased customer attention and to develop protocol for handling customer needs. Establish standard procedures for production, processing & post production activities Facilitate certifications and packaging, labelling, rebranding & export licences and tie ups with international agencies Policy Decision : Guideline for PPFC / Studies / Researches
