SWEEPSTAKES ONLY OPEN TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS RESIDING IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND WASHINGTON, DC AGE 21 YEARS OR OLDER AT TIME OF ENTRY. SWEEPSTAKES IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND OTHER RESTRICTIONS ESTABLISHED IN THESE OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES OR BY SWEEPSTAKES ORGANIZER. Participation constitutes entrant s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Sweepstakes Organizer: The First Shots: 10 Years & 10 Prizes Sweepstakes ( Sweepstakes ) is organized by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc., 11 Mile Hill Rd., Newtown, CT The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is only open to legal U.S. residents residing in the 50 United States and Washington, DC age 21 years or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sweepstakes Organizer and Sponsors, family members of these individuals, and persons living in their same households are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes Period: Sweepstakes begins 12:00 am (ET) September 30, 2015 and ends 11:59pm (ET) December 15, How to Enter: Enter the Sweepstakes at by completing an online entry form and uploading a photo depicting entrant or someone with entrant taking their first shots. No other method or form of entry accepted. All entries must be received by Sweepstakes Organizer no later than December 15, Incomplete entries or entries not submitted in accordance with submission instructions shall be ineligible. Limit one (1) entry per person during Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entries from the same individual shall be disqualified. All entrants must provide a current and valid telephone number, address, and date of birth. Each Sweepstakes entrant represents that he/she is the exclusive owner of any photograph they submit to Sweepstakes Organizer, and if the photograph depicts a third party(ies), entrant further represents he/she has consent to submit the photograph from the individual(s) who may appear therein. Each entrant represents he/she has the authority to grant and, by participating in this Sweepstakes, does grant Sweepstakes Organizer permission to use, alter, reproduce, publish, re-license, prepare derivative works from, or otherwise exploit his/her entry, including entrant s name, photograph, image and likeness and that of any other individual depicted in any photographic entry, without restriction in any lawful manner at any time, without right to review, consideration, notification, or attribution. Entrant further agrees that any materials Sweepstakes Organizer creates in which entrant s or other individual s name, photo, image or likeness may appear shall be Organizer s sole and absolute property, and both entrant and depicted individuals waive any right to inspect or approve the materials, matter that may be used in connection with them (e.g., advertising copy), or the use to which they may be applied. 4 (Approximate Retail Value of Prize Package $1,050.00) Firearm prize winners must conform to all local, state and federal firearms ownership and possession laws and regulations, as applicable, and must make their own arrangements with firearms prize providers for delivery and transfer of firearms, including, without limitation, contacting an appropriate licensed firearms dealer, obtaining all firearms licenses and permits that may be required, undergoing a NICS background check, and paying all applicable transfer and delivery fees and costs. Delivery of some Sweepstakes prizes may be delayed due to availability, scheduling conflicts or blackout dates. Sweepstakes Organizer shall not responsible for any circumstances that prevent winners from accepting or utilizing Sweepstakes prizes. Expenses associated with acceptance and redemption of prizes not specifically identified in these Official Sweepstakes Rules shall be borne by prize winners. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prizes except by Sweepstakes Organizer who may substitute prizes as necessary. All prize details are at the sole discretion of Sweepstakes Organizer. Federal, state and/or local income taxes applicable to Sweepstakes prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning the Sweepstakes prize depend on the number of eligible entries received by Sweepstakes Organizer. Winner Selection & Notification: Winners will be selected by Sweepstakes Organizer at a random drawing after December 15, 2015 at Organizer s headquarters. Winner need not be present at time of drawing. Grand Prize winner will be drawn first followed by 1 st through 10 th place prize winners in ascending order. All prize winners will be contacted by telephone on Christmas morning December 25, The inability of Sweepstakes Organizer to reach winner at telephone number provided, the failure of a potential winner to claim a prize within three (3) calendar days of first notification attempt, or potential winner ineligibility, will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected at the Sweepstakes Organizer s sole discretion. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Winners may be required to provide additional information or documentation to prove Sweepstakes eligibility, including without limitation, proof of identity, age, and legal U.S. residency. All winners will be required to sign and submit an Eligibility Affidavit, Liability Waiver and Publicity Release to Sweepstakes Organizer before prizes are awarded, and may also be required to sign and submit similar forms to training course prize providers. Sweepstakes Organizer reserves the right to accept or deny awarding a Sweepstakes Prize based on information or documentation submitted or the failure to submit required information or documentation. Sweepstakes Organizer may disqualify a Sweepstakes winner immediately upon learning the winner has responded with or submitted false information or documentation. General Terms & Conditions: By entering Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sweepstakes Organizer, which shall be final and binding; and (ii) to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sweepstakes Organizer and its directors, officers, employees, and other representatives (collectively, Released Parties ) from any and all claims, losses, or liabilities of any kind (including attorneys fees and costs) arising from or relating to the administration or operation of the Sweepstakes or any errors in materials related thereto; entrant s participation in the Sweepstakes; use or distribution of entrant s Sweepstakes entry submission; use and exploitation of entrant s name, photograph, image, likeness or information submitted to participate in the Sweepstakes for advertising and/or promotion purposes without notice, additional compensation, or attribution, except where prohibited by law; entrant s acceptance or use of a prize; or any claims based on rights of privacy, rights of publicity, and/or other personal or proprietary right. Sweepstakes Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or terminate all or part of the Sweepstakes at any time for any reason, and, in such event, to award some or all of the Sweepstakes prizes based on eligible submissions received prior to any such action, or not award Sweepstakes prizes at all. The Released Parties shall not be responsible or liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible or postage-due submissions or other correspondence; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, interruptions, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; or (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Released Parties that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted, including any injury or damage to any person s computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or downloading any materials related thereto. Sweepstakes Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found tampering with or disrupting the operation or administration of the Sweepstakes. Furthermore, disqualification will result if Sweepstakes Organizer Sponsor believes, in its absolute and sole discretion that an entry is not in the spirit of the Sweepstakes, or detrimentally reflects on Sweepstakes Organizer, its mission or its programs and services. Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes shall be brought exclusively in a state or federal court located in Fairfield County, Connecticut selected by Sweepstakes Organizer applying the laws of the State of Connecticut without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law thereunder that would require or permit the application of any other laws. Sweepstakes entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts, agree to accept service

5 of process electronically (e.g., via ) or certified or registered mail, and specifically waive any jurisdictional or venue defenses otherwise available to them. Winner s List: The names of Sweepstakes prize winner may be obtained until January 29, 2016 upon written request by mailing a self-addressed and stamped request to: NSSF, Manager, First Shots, First Shots: 10 Years & 10 Prizes Sweepstakes, 11 Mile Hill Rd., Newtown, CT Use of Information: By entering Sweepstakes, information about entrants will be captured by Sweepstakes Organizer. The information captured includes entrants names, mailing addresses, addresses and other information provided by entrants at time of entry or at the time of prize redemption. Unless otherwise stated, this information may be retained and used by Sweepstakes Organizer for any business purpose, including, without limitation, Sweepstakes Winner s List, mailing lists for future contacts, advertising or promotional purposes, and/or shared by Sweepstakes Organizer with third parties. Entrants may be contacted by Sweepstakes Organizer and other parties with future promotional offers about their products and/or services. Change to Official Rules: Sweepstakes Organizer reserves the right to make changes to these Official Rules at any time and for any reason without notice.
