9 On Campus Subway voucher distribution For the second year running NUS Media took control of a Subway voucher distribution campaign to students during the Freshers s period. Following the success of the previous campaign the distribution was split over a larger number of TV regions across the UK and each region had a bespoke voucher that could only be redeemed at selected stores. Over 120 Student Unions were individually contacted and the exact number of vouchers required for each of the Student Unions was managed centrally via NUS Media utilising their unique network of Student Union contacts. NUS Media managed all aspects of the campaign from ensuring all 120 Unions were on board, fulfilment of voucher distribution via a third party and most importantly that distribution to the students was completed. Testimonial NUS has managed our Subway voucher campaign for the past 2 years and we ve been really impressed with the execution and level of project management. From sourcing the student unions, contacting the relevant people and giving us regular updates, the marketing team managed the full campaign. This year we targeted over 124 student unions and NUS delivered in excess of 270,000 vouchers into the hands of students in close proximity of a Subway franchise across a number of TV regions. Neil Hunter, Managing Director, Hunter Johnstone Cost Typical voucher campaign cost (based on Unions) 3,500
