22 The latest trends in social media - Social bookmarking is down to 10% of users!! Most popular in 2013 were Twi*er, Pinterest, Reddit & StumbleUpon - Forums & geo- locabon services have declined since LinkedIn is more popular with socially savvy web users (rather than newer users of social media) - Google+, Pinterest, Instagram & YouTube are most popular with markebng professionals currently Stats come from marketers quesboned for the 2013 Social Media Examiners Social Media MarkeBng Industry Report.

23 2015 PredicRons 1. Content marketing Your posts need to be centred around the individual users, how will you appeal to them? Not just focussed on the product (like the show). 2. Real-time marketing Tweeting during relevant times for world events, or using them to show the evolution of your show or prep. Tweeting during a dress rehearsal will engage your audience and remind them to grab a ticket. 3. Audio-visual content Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat all of these networks foresaw the significance of visual content and reacted accordingly. We will see a sharp rise in pictures, graphics and micro-clips 4. Be prepared to pay It s getting crowded. So potentially allocate some of that poster printing budget to promoting posts on Facebook for example.
