3 THE BUSINESS LINK BUYER SUPPLIER EXCHANGE. Buyer Supplier 1 The buyer applies for Business Link. Buyer submits a purchase order. The international supplier is invited by the buyer to apply for Business Link and join the buyer s closed community with support in English and Mandarin. 2 Supplier accepts purchase order. Supplier submits invoice, documents and payment claims. 3 Buyer authorises secure payment at competitive real time exchange rates via Bank of Melbourne Business Link using the buyer s credit card. Supplier dispatches goods, as agreed with Buyer. 5 Buyer s credit card is used to purchase the foreign currency, which is then transferred to Bank of Melbourne to pay for the imports.
