1 New Jeweler Checklist To Do: 1. Set Important Dates: Set your training show date: Set your practice show date: (1-2 days after your training show)this will be a show for those who say they are unable to attend your training show. It is an easy practice time for you and an easy booking that WILL count toward your Quickstart. Mark your goals! Count out 45 days and 120 days from the date of your training show. Mark these 2 dates on your calendar. 45 Day Deadline: 120 Day Deadline: Mark the 30 days, 45 th day as the date to accomplish your Quick Start Amethyst & Rookie Club! Mark the 60 days,120,180 days to complete your Home show Club/ Builder. Mark your calendar to attend a New Jeweler Seminar. This is so important for getting your business off to a great start. The next New Jeweler Seminar is : Mark local monthly trainings on your calendar. Your attendance at training will greatly increase the success of your business! The next local Training is : 2. Get those Bookings Listen to the New Jeweler Booking Call while you are waiting for your jewelry to come in. This is a MUST first thing. 2 Take a look around and get acquainted with the website. This will be your lifeline! Make sure and click New Jewelers at the top of the main page. All the information you will need is listed right here, including: The Home show, Booking Verbiage, Guest Survey Card, and much more! Complete the FRANK sheet. List everyone you can think of! Shoot for 100 names Mark 10 friends that you feel you can ask the biggest favor from. Highlight your top 3- the girls you know you can ask to do a show in your first 2 weeks of business- and call these girls first. Get BOOKING Those HOME SHOWS Get those bookings! Refer to Booking Verbiage found on the New Jeweler page at This will be your guide to getting bookings. It has been used for many years and it works! Get on the phone with 3 friends that you can ask the biggest favor from and book shows with them first! Book one show the same week as your training show and schedule the other 2 the week after. 3-5 Friends you can ask the biggest favor from. Remember, at the beginning you will work more than you want- our main goal is to accomplish the Quick Start and make the investment back! 3 3 of the shows need to be in your first 2 weeks of business and the other 3 in your first 30 days, your Sponsor will give you 1 dozen catalogs. Have 9 Home Shows booked by the day of your Training Show, 3 of the shows need to be in your first 2 weeks of business and 3 of the 9 must be in your first 30 days, the remaining 3 must be in your first 45 days of business, your Sponsor will give you 2 dozen catalogs. Have 12 Home Shows booked by the day of your Training Show, 3 of the shows need to be in your first 2 weeks of business and 3 of the 9 must be in your first 30 days, the remaining 6 must be in your first 45 days of business, your Sponsor will give you 3 dozen catalogs. Line up 3 guinea pigs the night of your Training Show. Your sponsor will teach you how to tell others about Premier. This completes the second part of your training. This can be anyone, they do not have to have an interest in Premier. Doing this will help you learn how to tell someone about the business Set up your Premier Designs website account. Visit Click Jeweler Login Click New Jeweler? Start here to proceed with your account setup. Set up your ProPay Account *Login to your Premier Designs account and look to the top right for Business Links then Propay or visit Once you have made it to the ProPay page, look to the top for the Sign Up link. Note: The cost of Propay is $49.95 per year and requires a credit card # for immediate signup. Read your Jeweler Handbook and listen to your training CD s.

4 The information that these contain is vital to the success of your business! When your jewelry and supplies come in Use your jewelry tags to tag each piece. * Quick tip: Before you take each piece from the box, peel the name tag off of the side and place it on a jewelry tag or on the back of an earring card. Now, all you ll need to do is look in the back of the catalog for the piece and find the price. OR you can purchase Avery 5617 labels and print the labels for the full line from Premier s website. Login to the Premier Designs webpage. ( see Jeweler Login ) Click Jeweler Resources then Business Tools (click Jewelry Tag Labels. ) Be sure and put your name and contact information all materials that you will be handing out, including: catalogs, order forms, hostess packets brochures, etc. Put your Hostess Packets together. (As you are booking shows, you ll want to send each hostess one of these so that they can get working on their show!) The Hostess Packet is the large white envelope. Inside, you will need to include: At least one catalog 4-5 order forms A guest list To Buy: Below are additional items you may want to stock up on. Quantity needed: 9 packages (this will get you through your QuickStart) #9826- Catalogs Price: $16.00 for 1 dozen #423- Marketing Plan Presentation Brochures (These are what you ll use to share the business with someone) Price: $5.00 for 1 dozen Quantity needed: 1 packet #154- Premier Contracts Price: $2.00 for 3 sets Quantity needed: 2 packages #107- Customer Receipts (Order Forms) Price: $3.50 for 50 forms Quantity needed: 2 or 3 packages Also. To stay organized, make sure and pick up File folders You will use these as Hostess folders where you will keep all information about your Hostess and file the orders from the Home show. Expandable File This is to keep track of all of your business receipts. Small calendar for mileage - Keep this in your car to keep up with business mileage. You will receive 55.5 cents for every mile you drive in 2012, so keep up with them for tax time! Business In A Box. Pick up a file box or a plastic container large enough to hold: Catalogs
