Like me, you can make a lot of money online with these business models, but they come with their pros and cons which I will hare. But before we get started, let me introduce myself.

4 Who is Jeremy Smith? I am a what you see is what you get guy. And I live a normal life like most other people. But then my life changed forever when my son at 18 months was diagnosed with Autism. The bills came flooding in from speech therapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, ABA therapists, paediatricians the list goes on I wondered what I could do. I considered getting an evening job, but I was already working long hours full-time. So I had a look on the internet and after some research found it may be possible to make money online. Maybe like you, I spent hundreds of dollars going from course to course, chasing the latest make money online shiny object, hoping it would finally work for me. Once I had discovered that the affiliate marketing model worked well for me, I pursued it relentlessly like a dog with a rag until I could finally clear my debts, and make my first 6 figure year online. I am not going to stop at that though. My target is to make 7 figures online and provide the best future for my son. I firmly believe that it doesn t matter what your current circumstances or background is. As long as you are given a plan and are willing to put in the time and effort, you too can achieve your goals. Now you know my story, let s dig in and make this work for you.

5 Creating Your Online Presence If you want to become a serious online entrepreneur, then without question, you need a blog. You also need to have it on your own hosting platform. Do not use one of the free hosting services out there for these two main reasons. 1. You want to create a brand whether it s based around your name or your business, and you need to make it look professional. For example jeremysmithsblog.wordpress.com is too long, unprofessional and unmemorable. 2. You have no control over your site. It could be pulled down at any time, losing all your valuable work. I use Bluehost for my web hosting. It s highly reliable and the entry level price is extremely cheap compared to other providers. As your business expands using the methods I m going to teach you, and you start receiving thousands of daily visitors, you will probably want to upgrade your plan to keep your site running fast. The Bluehost team are super helpful and will do all of this for you. What s more, when you sign up you will receive a free domain name, which is seamlessly connected to your hosting. So there s no need to worry about getting a domain from another provider and setting up DNS name resolution and all that techy stuff. Your blog is going to be your home and corner of the internet. It s going to be the place where you send your prospects to build a relationship with and market to them and the centre of your online empire.

6 Three Business Models that have worked for me Affiliate Marketing Creating your own products The License Model I will now go through each of these models one by one, because I have had great success with each, but you have to be aware that they come with their pros and cons. Affiliate Marketing For the most part people do this completely wrong, and that s why they never make much money. I want to teach you how to build a long-term stable business that will allow you to profit for years to come. Let s first start off and talk about what affiliate marketing really is just in case you don t know. Affiliate marketing is the process of you promoting someone else s product, and when this product is sold, you get a commission from the transaction. Usually that can be between 25-50%. Amazon is a much lower, about 4%. The problem with this model is that you have no real control over the offer, sometimes the offers shutdown without any real notice and secondly, you re building someone else s business. As mentioned earlier most people do this business model completely wrong and they spend all their money driving people to the offer in the hope of making a sale.

7 But...What happens after they make a sale? The problem with marketing this way is that you ve lost the customer forever after the first sale. When you send your leads to someone else s product you re giving up hundreds of dollars by handing them the lead on a plate. For example if someone buys an expensive stretch mark cream (I used to be an affiliate in this niche) there is a very good chance they will go and buy the same product again and again. You as an affiliate are paid nothing on the 2nd 3rd 4th etc sale A real business makes their money on the backend from existing customers. They don t survive on one-time sales and it s no different with an online business. Your best customers are people who have already purchased from you because many of those customers will buy over and over again. If you ve ever seen some of the affiliate programs that will pay you 100% commission on the product, it s because they know they will make a ton of money on the backend sneaky. So you do all the hard work to send them leads, they motivate you with 100% commissions on the small front end products and then they have the high ticket products on the backend which you won t get paid for. When you send your leads to someone else s product you don t own the customer, they do.

8 Do you see why just being an affiliate marketer is a flawed business model? You can make a lot of money with affiliate marketing, but not as much as the next two models. If you plan on being an affiliate marketer let s talk about the right way to do it. How I do Affiliate Marketing So, now you know that with conventional affiliate marketing you are only making a small fraction of the money you could be making and the offer you are promoting can be withdrawn at any moment. So what is the correct way? As I mentioned earlier, the real money is in creating a relationship and with the follow up sales. What I do is create a website with a free ebook or video series which I give away in exchange for their address.

9 Here is the Process I follow I create a high quality free ebook or video series which provides value to my customer. I create a squeeze page (also known as an opt-in page) to capture their address and give away the product. I run traffic to the squeeze page. I create a follow up sequence in an auto-responder to educate and inspire my customers and to further build the relationship with them. I find affiliate products which I think will be of interest to my customers and market to them. The difference between my model and the flawed model is that I m creating a customer base of loyal customers. You may have heard of the Law of Reciprocity. It states that if you give and give and give enough good information and free advice, your customers will feel almost obliged to get out their wallets out and purchase from you. When you have achieved this then you ve created the ultimate business model. I can send out an affiliate offer to my list and its almost like making money out of thin air. When I started, I ignored what the top marketers online said. But its true and you ve probably heard it before.

10 You Must Build Your List My favourite auto responder is Aweber. You can start with your first month for just $1. Once you have your auto responder you need a way to build squeeze pages to capture people s s. A squeeze page is a one-page website that you send people to where you offer them a free ebook or video to get them to subscribe to your newsletter. This could be an ebook you create yourself like this one, it could be the sales video for the product you re promoting, or a video you create yourself. Once someone enters their they then get access to the freebie and you can now market to them in the future because you captured their . My favorite tool to create squeeze pages is Leadpages. When you combine Leadpages and Aweber together, you have the two main tools you need to run this business. It allows you to build squeeze pages in just minutes. You can change headlines, change the copy and even add videos without needing to know anything technical.

11 Creating Your Own Products Creating your own products is the next step up from the affiliate marketing model and enables you to take your business to new heights and profits! These products can be in the form of ebooks, coaching programs or membership sites. However, I don t recommend doing these unless you re an experienced marketer. If you are starting out with this model from scratch, a lot more money and skill is required to get you off the ground. With affiliate marketing you can leverage someone else s brand and social proof. But if you are creating your own products, you are going to find it harder to stand out from the crowd. However, I do suggest you create your own ebooks to give away as freebies to get people to subscribe to your newsletter. You can do that by writing the ebook in Microsoft Word or any editor and saving it as a pdf and then uploading it to your webhost.

12 The Licensing Model This model is my favorite by far. It combines the advantages of affiliate marketing with the advantages of creating your own product. So instead of going through the gruelling process of shooting and editing videos, creating content, membership sites, squeeze pages, copywriting etc etc, you can license an existing established product and save yourself all the development costs. To give you a real world example, consider Dominos. If you wanted to open your own pizza store, then you could go out on your own, open one, brand it yourself, and get your own custom signs and menus made, and run your own advertising campaigns. Alternatively, you could purchase a Dominos franchise and leverage all their branding, menus, and customer knowledge, so all you have to do is focus on getting customers in the door. This is the same principle as the licensing model. Everything is done for you. You get to be involved in a proven business model out of the gate. You have the exact training you need, and a supportive community of other people who are building the exact same business as you. My favourite company allows you to make $1,250, $2,500, $3,300 $5,500 and $10,000 commissions. The other benefit to this model compared to traditional affiliate marketing is the fact that they don t steal your leads. Even if you run your affiliate marketing business the way I taught you, it still won t ever be as profitable as the license model.

13 With traditional affiliate marketing, once you send people to the vendor and make a sale you only get a one-time commission. However, the owner of the product will continue to sell your leads products and you will make zero commissions once you make the initial sale. That s why I mentioned earlier it s important to collect their so you can market other products to them as well. With the license model you don t have to worry about this because when the company sells them more products you get a commission on those sales. My favourite company I m involved with is called MOBE. This company allows you to collect huge commissions over three tiers. I think MOBE and business models that incorporate the license model are the easiest way to make a real income online (by real I mean six figures or better). Before MOBE, I was making at most $100 commissions. As I ve already said, MOBE enables you to make $1,250 (Silver), $2,500 (Gold), $5,000 (Titanium), $8,500 (Platinum), and $10,000 (Diamond) commissions. Once I started promoting high ticket affiliate programs like MOBE my income exploded.

14 The Money Is In High Ticket With most people s logic, they think it s much easier to sell low ticket products like $27 - $47 But I find it to be the opposite. Let s take the equation of making $8,333 a month (six figure income). We would need to sell about 308 products costing $27 or we would need to sell about 177 products at $47 to make our monthly income of $8,333. However, with a business model like MOBE that would be around 8 customers paying us $1200. Do you see how much simpler it would be to get 8 customers compared to 308? The other problem with selling the low-ticket products is you also don t have any recurring passive income. MOBE s sales funnel is so deep they have products as high as $30,000 as well as recurring products so you have passive income coming in every single month. The MOBE business model allows you to have the low start-up cost that affiliate marketing has, but allows you to make bigger commissions. You also control your business because you get the leads and you make commissions on any sales made in the future for the lifetime the customer is involved with MOBE.
