1 CUSTOM PORTFOLIO BROCHURES We can create a customised PDF version of our Portfolio brochure for you, adding your company name, logo and contact details, and personalising the text on the inside front cover. A PDF of our Portfolio is able (roughly 3.4MB) and enables an instant response to enquiries illustrating a very wide range of furniture types and styles. For simplicity, we offer a guide explaining two ways in which you might wish to customise our Portfolio. However, in principle we can change anything so if you have any particular requirements or preferences do please ask. For any customisation we need a sample of your logo and address/contact details as you would like them to appear, e.g. letterhead or other printed material. To reproduce your details accurately and to a high standard, we also need a file of your logo, in either EPS (preferred) or TIF format. We also need to know the exact typeface you use for your address/contact details, unless these are included as part of an EPS file that incorporates your logo. If you are unable to provide this data yourselves, your printers or designers should be able to supply it. It can be ed to us or supplied on disk. Option One We drop your logo onto the front cover either at the top or bottom, as indicated on the example on the following pages. You write some personalised text to replace the text shown in red on the inside front cover, retaining the remaining text relating to Sven Christiansen. This links us together as close and supportive partners you can see that we have rewritten all the Sven-related text as if you, rather than we, were writing it. You advise how you would like your contact details to appear on the back cover. Option Two As Option one, other than you replace all the text on the inside front cover. This gives you greater scope to talk about your own company, but requires a deal more work and time on your part unless you already have suitable text that you use elsewhere. We have some guidance notes for writing such text which we are happy to to you on request. Printed Custom Portfolio s We can print a version of our Portfolio with custom covers for you, but only when we are reprinting the standard Sven version. Costs are around 278/ 406/ 534/ 662 for 250/500/750/1000 copies. We do all the necessary design and artwork FOC. To meet our print schedule, we need to receive the necessary text and data, by roughly the middle of June. Sven undertake ongoing review of their products, raw materials and processes with the objective of continual improvement in their environmental performance. To minimise their waste to landfill they have invested in a wood burning furnace with clean air afterburners, which disposes of much of their waste timber and extracted dust. The furnace reduces the amount of waste timber going to landfill and also provides heating for their factory. 4 <Either just change the red text within the red box...> Important notes about veneers and hardwood timbers We use solid hardwoods and wood veneers whose varying grain and figure emphasise the natural beauty and individuality of the wood. No two pieces of timber are identical, and there will be natural variations in hue, grain and figure, and both knots and colouring arising from natural minerals in the wood. Bamboo also exhibits variations in colour and pattern. None of these variations or features are faults: they are simply proof of the natural origin of the product. Please note that most timbers and veneers either lighten or darken on exposure to light. Should you add additional items at a later date, there may be an initial colour mismatch that should even out over a period of time. Colour accuracy Due to variations in lighting and the limitations of the printing process, variations in colour may occur between the illustrations in this brochure and manufactured items. Samples of all our finishes are available on request from our Customer Service Department.
