Please remember that Sleep in the Park really is an under the stars experience. Yu will be sleeping utdrs. Fundraising Deadlines and Issuing Tickets There are 2 fundraising deadlines fr Sleep in the Park. Please nte that yu need t raise at least 100 (including the initial 50 dnatin already paid) t get yur ticket fr the event. There are a cuple f deadlines that yu need t be aware f relating t yur fundraising: December 3 rd at 6pm is the first fundraising deadline. Please make sure all ffline fundraising upt that pint is lgged n yur Virgin Mney Giving Page by then. We will be issuing tickets after this and the tp 3,500 fundraisers at this time will be given a ticket t the inner circle fr best viewing f the cncert. December 7 th at 6pm is the next fundraising deadline fr getting vuchers relating t fundraising perks. We will be ing ut vuchers after this fr fundraising perks. If yu have managed t raise 500, yu will get a vucher fr the Jhn Cleese Bedtime Stry. If yu have managed t raise 1,000 yu will get a vucher fr the breakfast service frm Rb Brydn and Scttish Gvernment Cabinet Ministers. Upt Christmas Yu can use the experience f the event t spread the wrd abut the issue f hmelessness and t add t yur fundraising ttal. We will then be annuncing the final ttal fr the fundraising n Christmas Eve.

2 The Event Where: West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, When: Saturday 9 th December Sunday 10 th December 2017 Timings: Drs Open at 5pm Saturday 9 th December Last Entry 1030pm Saturday 9 th December Pre Shw Entertainment 5pm 7pm Cncert 7pm 10.45pm SLEEPOUT 10.45pm 6am Sunday 10 th December N re-entry upn leaving the event What t expect n arrival We will be prcessing upt 9,000 peple int the event, s please aim t arrive as early as pssible after the 5pm pen time. Upn arriving yu will have yu bag searched and receive a wristband. Yu will als receive a waterprf survival bag and a baggage label. Yu will then be directed t a specific Sleep Zne t set up camp befre the cncert starts at 7pm. Sleeping Znes and Leaving / Finding yur belngings After yu have been directed t a specific Sleep Zne yu shuld find yur wn sleeping pitch and leave yur belngings (sleeping bag, mat, camping chairs etc etc) fr the duratin f the cncert. Each sleeping zne will be further divided up int smaller areas s that it is easier t find yur sleeping pitch after the cncert. Yu will be given a large plastic survival bag that yu shuld use t keep dry when yu are asleep and t keep yur belngings dry when yu first arrive at the event. Once yu have fund where yu want t sleep, put yur belngings inside the bag t keep them dry in the event f rain and attach a baggage ticket t write yur name n and stick t yur bag. Please bring als yur wn unique identifier t help yu lcate yur things after the cncert. Yu will then knw t cme back t yur sleeping zne, find yur specific area and lk fr yur unique identifier. Examples f unique identifiers: A flag with a unique symbl n it A sticker with yur name written n it An ld scarf A luggage strap A clurful umbrella Anything else yu can think f t identify yur belngings

3 We will have security staff mnitring each sleep zne fr the duratin f the cncert. Staff will als be helping yu lcate yur belngings after the cncert. 4 Please nte that there are n tents allwed at the event it is an under the stars experience. Please d nt bring valuables t the event What is prvided n site: Getting There: Tilets Free Ht drinks thrughut the duratin f the whle event Indr and Outdr warming statins A range f fd trucks and vans where yu can buy ht, tasty streetfd Medical & Welfare Services Optinal Baggage Drp fr during the cncert perid Yu are welcme t make yur wn way t the event in any way yu see fit. It will be free parking in Edinburgh n Saturday frm 6.30pm and all day Sunday. We have set up deals fr bth free tram and bus travel. Fr Edinburgh Trams simply shw yur wristband r ticket fr travel t and frm the event fr free. Fr Stagecach Buses: G t the website then cmplete the jurney planner with the details f the jurney required and include the prmtin cde SLEEP17. (This cde is case sensitive s make sure it is capitals) Remember that this ffer is nt available n all jurneys and yu shuld refer t the timetable attached as t which jurneys are available.

5 Once yu have selected the jurneys the fare bx will pp up. There shuld be a Sleep in the Park 2017 ptin if yu select this and then cntinue n t the delivery and payment screens. Please allw yurself time t enter int this prcess befre being permitted int the event arena The event is pen t participants ver 16 nly. Thse aged between 16 and 18 must be accmpanied by an ver 18 There will be an accessible entrance, viewing area and sleepzne with relevant facilities. Accessible patrns shuld identify themselves In advance f the event and shall be sent specific ticketing infrmatin. 6 Lst prperty: Medical Ntes: Please d nt leave utdr kit behind in the gardens Please hand in and reclaim all lst prperty frm the welfare statins. The event accepts n respnsibility fr lst r stlen prperty. If yu suffer frm any pre existing medical cnditins, regardless f severity, please cnsult yur GP befre signing up. If yu are n any medicatin fr an existing cnditin, make sure yu take yur medicatin with yu in adequate amunts fr the duratin f the event. If apprved by a GP t attend with a medical cnditin, please make sure yu have written infrmatin detailing yur cnditin and any medicatin required. Ticket terms and cnditins, and disclaimers: Yu are advised t check yur ticket upn receipt. N tickets will be refunded unless the event is cmpletely cancelled due t act f gd scenari, in which case the cre 50 sign up fee will be refunded. Any further spnsrship funds will still g t the charity. Tickets are fr the event and nt fr ne specific artist. The prmter will use their best endeavurs t present the line-up as advertised, but the line-up f artists cannt be guaranteed. Shuld ne r mre artists cancel, the event will g ahead as nrmal. Refunds will nt be given in these circumstances.
