3 COMPENSATION PLAN TERMS Distributor A person who has completed the official Unicity Distributor Agreement and has been accepted by Unicity. Personal Volume (PV) The total point value of your product purchases in a calendar month. This includes the products you purchase for your personal consumption and those you purchase to sell to your customers. Group Volume (GV) The total of your PV and the PV of all the people you have sponsored and the people they have sponsored down to, but not including, the first Active Manager in each leg. Your GV also includes the first 100 PV of each personally sponsored Active Manager or above and start up orders of new people you sponsor. Manager You reach the rank of Manager the first time you do 1000 GV and 100 PV in one calendar month. Once the level is achieved, you only need 100 PV to maintain your rank. Active Manager AManager with 100 PV and less than 1000 GV in a calendar month. Senior Manager AManager with at least 1000 GV and 100 PV in a calendar month. Leg Each Distributor you personally sponsor is considered the start of a new leg. Everyone this person sponsors is part of this leg. This continues indefinitely. There is no limit to the number of people who can be in one leg. Leg OV The total volume generated by one leg. Organization Volume (OV) The total volume generated by you and your entire team. This includes all the volume in all your legs. Calendar Month The period of time used to calculate rank and commissions. All commissions for a calendar month are paid on the 20th of the following month. Sponsor Your Sponsor is the person immediately above you in your organization. You are considered the sponsor of each person you personally enroll as a Unicity Distributor. WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN PAGE 2
4 1 Profit Center 1 Retail Profits As a Distributor you can purchase the Unicity products at wholesale and sell them for a retail profit. WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN PAGE 3
5 2 Profit Center 2 Personal Rebates Earn up to 30%. The more Bios Life you sell, the more you earn with each box sold. Your rebate percentage is based on your Personal Volume (PV) in a calendar month. Each box of Bios Life Slim is 50 Personal Volume (PV) and each box of Bios Life D is 35 PV. Multiply the number of boxes of Bios Life you purchase by the PV of each box to get your total PV for the month. No rebates are paid on first-month purchases of 1000 PV or less. If your PV exceeds 1000 in your first month, you will earn a 30% rebate on all PV in excess of WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN PAGE 4
6 3 Profit Center 3 Fast Start Bonuses Earn up to 30%. Start making money quickly with Fast Start Bonuses. These bonuses are paid on the first-month purchases of each new Distributor who joins your team within six levels. The Fast Start percentage you earn is based on your rank. Qualified Distributors, Associates, Junior Managers and Managers, only need 100 PV in a calendar month to earn Fast Start Bonuses. The qualifications of Sr. Manager and above are displayed in Profit Center 6. You are only paid Fast Start Bonuses on a new Distributor s first-months PV up to 1000 PV. 7 4 Profit Center 4 Group Bonuses Earn up to 20%. Group Bonuses are paid on the PV of all the people you sponsor and the people they sponsor down to the first Active Manager in each leg. When they become Active Managers, you earn Distributor Royalties (Profit Center 6). Group bonuses are calculated by using your Personal Volume (PV) listed across the top and the PV of each of your personally sponsored Distributors listed in the left column. Group Bonuses are not paid in addition to Fast Start Bonuses. The chart above shows the percentages you would earn on the PV of each person you personally sponsor and are based on the assumption that you are at least an Active Manager with 100 PV. The percentages you would earn on those below your personally sponsored Distributors are determined by your PV, their PV and the PV of those between you and them. Bottom Line - If you are an Active Manager or above, you will be paid a minimum of 5% on the PV of everyone in each leg down to the first Active Manager or above. 8 5 Profit Center 5 Team Builder Bonuses Earn up to 9 Lakhs. The powerful combination of Fast Start Bonuses and Team Builder Bonuses allows you to start earning large bonuses quickly. Your Organizational Volume (OV) is the total volume generated by you and your entire team. Each bonus level is paid only once. There is no time limit to achieving Team Builder Bonuses. Requirements to earn Team Builder Bonuses: Maintain 100 Personal Volume (PV) monthly. Have three or more legs with a minimum of 250 Organizational Volume (OV). A Team Builder Bonus level must be maintained for two consecutive months. At least 40% of the required OV must come from outside your largest leg. WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN PAGE 7
9 6 Profit Center 6 Distributor Royalties Start earning a residual income of 5% on the sales generated by your team. Leg OV is the total volume downline of someone you have sponsored. At least 40% of the required OV must come from outside your largest leg. Commissions on first-month purchases are paid as Fast Start Bonuses only. WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN PAGE 8
10 7 Profit Center 7 Presidential Royalties When you reach the rank of Sapphire, Ruby or Diamond for three consecutive months, you become a member of the prestigious President's Club and can earn additional royalties on your 4th, 5th, and 6th generations. After you become a Sapphire, you can earn an extra 3 percent on your 4th generation for 12 months. After you become a Ruby, you can earn an extra 3 percent on your 4th generation and 4 percent on your 5th generation for 12 months. When you finally become a Diamond, you can earn an extra 3 percent on your 4th generation, 4 percent on your 5th generation and 5 percent on your 6th generation for 24 months. To continue earning Presidential Royalties, simply advance to the next rank before your time period expires. WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN PAGE 9
11 8 Profit Center 8 Presidential Bonuses Earn up to Lakhs. Build your business quickly and earn BIG cash bonuses. At least 40% of the required OV must come from outside your largest leg. You can earn more than one level of the Presidential Bonuses at the same time. Earn Lakhs in Sapphire Bonuses. When you reach the rank of Sapphire and maintain it for 3 consecutive months, within your first 9 months, you can earn Lakhs in cash bonuses. (You earn 1.35 Lakhs each month that you maintain your status as Sapphire up to 9 months. 9 x 1.35 Lakhs = Lakhs) Earn Lakhs in Ruby Bonuses. When you reach the rank of Ruby and maintain it for 3 consecutive months, within your first 15 months, you can earn Lakhs in cash bonuses. (You earn 2.7 Lakhs each month that you maintain your status as Ruby up to 9 months. 9 x 2.7 Lakhs = Lakhs) Earn Lakhs in Diamond Bonuses. When you reach the rank of Diamond and maintain it for 3 consecutive months, within your first 21 months, you can earn Lakhs in cash bonuses. (You earn 4.05 Lakhs each month that you maintain your status as Diamond up to 9 months. 9 x 4.05 Lakhs = Lakhs) The Presidential Bonuses are set annually. Anyone that joins in 2011 will fall under the 2011 program. WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN PAGE 10
12 9 Profit Center 9 Additional Distributor Positions (ADP) When you achieve the rank of Presidential Diamond, you will be eligible to start a new leg called an Additional Distributor Position (ADP). The ADP is placed on your frontline. All new legs will begin downline of your ADP allowing you to earn as much as double on those legs. When a Diamond has 5,00,000 in OV and an Additional Distributor Position that maintains 1,00,000 OV for 3 consecutive months, the Diamond is then recognized as a Double Diamond and may begin a second ADP Distributorship. 13 10 Profit Center 10 Chairman's Club Bonuses Earn Up to Crores. As you achieve the ranks of Double Diamond, Triple Diamond, and Crown Diamond, you become a member of the Chairman's Club and can receive amazing Chairman's Club Bonuses. These bonuses are lifestyle bonuses not cash bonuses and are tailored to fulfill the individual dreams of the recipient. As such, the exact bonus varies by country and by distributor. 15 ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION PLAN TERMS Active Distributor A Distributor in good standing who accumulates a minimum of 100 Personal Volume (PV) in a calendar month. A person must be an Active Distributor to be eligible for earnings in the Compensation Plan. Frontline Each person you personally sponsor is considered your frontline. Downline The first Distributor you personally sponsor is the beginning of your downline. All persons sponsored by that Distributor are in your downline, and so on. Level The people you personally sponsor are firstlevel Distributors. All the people they sponsor are called second-level Distributors to you, and so on. Generation A grouping of Downline Distributors, organized for the purpose of calculating Distributor Royalties and Presidential Royalties. A Senior Manager (100 PV and 1000 GV) defines a generation. A generation may also be referred to as a royalty share. Commissionable Volume (CV) All commissions are calculated using CV. To determine the CV of a box of Bios Life Slim, you simply multiply the point value of a product by the conversion of 45 which is the current conversion rate between the U.S. Dollar and the Indian Rupee. A box of Bios Life Slim has a PV of 50, so 50 PV x 45 = 2250 CV. It's important to understand how CV is used to calculate commissions. If you were to earn a 30% Fast Start Bonus on someone you have sponsored who placed a 1000 PV start-up order, here is how your commission would be calculated: 1000 PV x 45 (Conversion rate) = 45,000 CV x 30% Fast Start Bonus = 13,500. Horizontal Compression Horizontal Compression allows volume in smaller legs to compress together to help you meet leg volume requirements. As an example, if you were trying to qualify as Diamond you would need five legs with 5,000 OV in each leg. After the four largest legs are determined, Horizontal Compression compresses all other legs into one leg for qualification purposes. Horizontal Compression applies to all rank advancements where Leg OV is required. Group Volume Roll-Over If you become a Distributor between the 25th day and the last day of the month, all your PV and GV will be rolled into the next month for rank advancement. The only exception is if you (or a member of your team) qualify for Team Builder Bonuses in your first month. You must have 100 PV in both calender months to be paid commissions and qualify for rank advancement. All commissions are paid from the month in which the volume was produced.
