1 OFFICIAL RULES h.h. gregg BLACK FRIDAY ON US SWEEPSTAKES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY 1. SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION: The h.h. gregg Black Friday On Us Sweepstakes (the Sweepstakes ) begins on 11/17/13 at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Standard Time ( EST ) and ends on 11/29/13 at 11:59:59 PM EST (the Sweepstakes Period ). The Sweepstakes Period consists of the General Entry Period beginning on 11/17/13 at 12:00:00 AM EST and ending on 11/29/13 at 11:59:59 PM EST and the Bonus Entry Period beginning on 11/28/13 at 6:00:00 PM EST and ending on 11/29/13 at 11:59:59 EST, as described below. At the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period, one (1) entry will be selected from among all entries received associated with each participating h.h. gregg retail location (excluding all h.h. gregg Fine Lines locations) and one (1) entry from among all entries received associated with hhgregg.com to receive the entrant s 2013 Black Friday purchase for free (Note: In the event the selected entrant did not make a 2013 Black Friday purchase, such entrant will receive an h.h. gregg gift card in an amount equal to the average of all 2013 Black Friday purchases made at such entrant s associated h.h. gregg retail store or on hhgregg.com, as applicable). Entry in the Sweepstakes does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest or sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of hhgregg Appliances, Inc. ( Sponsor ), which shall be final and binding in all respects. 2. ELIGIBILITY: Only to legal residents of the contiguous United States and District of Columbia (excluding Vermont, Alaska, and Hawaii) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of hhgregg Appliances, Inc., its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the Sweepstakes Entities ) and members of the immediate families (defined for these purposes as including spouse, biological, adoptive and step-parents, children, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren, and the respective spouses of any of the foregoing, regardless of where they reside) or households (whether related or not) of each of the above, are ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win the prize. Winners of any previous h.h. gregg Sweepstakes in the previous twelve (12) months will not be eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is void in Vermont, Alaska, Hawaii and where prohibited by law. 3. HOW TO ENTER: General Entry Period -1-

2 There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes during the General Entry Period: A) Via Facebook: To enter via Facebook, during the General Entry Period go to (the Facebook Page ), select the Like tab, and locate the link to the Sweepstakes application (the Sweepstakes Application ). If you already Like the Facebook Page, you do not need to repeat this step. Once at the Sweepstakes Application, complete the entry form with the information requested and follow the on-screen instructions to submit your entry. During registration, you must also select either your local participating h.h. gregg retail location or hhgregg.com where you intend to shop on Black Friday to determine what entry pool you will be placed into for the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person via the Facebook method of entry. B) Via Promotion Website: To enter via Promotion Website, visit the website (the Website ), complete the entry form with the information requested, and follow the on-screen instructions to submit your entry. During registration, you must also select either your local participating h.h. gregg retail location or hhgregg.com where you intend to shop on Black Friday to determine what entry pool you will be placed into for the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person via the Promotion Website method of entry. All requested information on the entry form at the Sweepstakes Application/Website must be completed to enter and to be eligible to win. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. Proof of entering information at the Sweepstakes Application/Website is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor of such entry. Except as contemplated in these Official Rules, personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the privacy policy found on the Sweepstakes Application/Website. If any individual, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, is suspected of submitting entries in excess of the disclosed maximum, by any means, including but not limited to establishing multiple Facebook and/or accounts, they will be disqualified from participation in this Sweepstakes. The name of the person submitting a Sweepstakes entry online must be the authorized account holder of the address used for Sweepstakes registration, or, entry may be deemed void in Sponsor s sole discretion. In the event of a dispute over the identity of a potential winner, the entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the address provided during registration, and any potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of the address. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Sponsor in writing if the entrant changes his or her , or postal address during the Sweepstakes Period. -2-

3 Bonus Entry Period You may receive up to ten (10) bonus entries into the Sweepstakes by playing the Endless Blitz game via a mobile application downloaded to your data enabled smart phone. STANDARD DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Participants should contact their carrier for pricing plans and details. See the game play instructions at the Endless Blitz game for further details. To receive bonus entries via the Mobile Application ( App ), download the mobile application at and then follow the instructions to register, play the game and earn an entry. Check your phone's capabilities for specific instructions. There is no guarantee that the App will work with all carriers or on all devices. Limit ten (10) Bonus Entries per person. Starting at 6:00:00 PM EST on 11/28/13, go to a participating h.h. gregg retail store or visit hhgregg.com to get an Entry Card containing a unique Entry Code. Once you have your Entry Code, access the App during the Bonus Entry Period and follow the on-screen instructions to complete registration via the App and enter the Entry Code in order to receive up to ten (10) Bonus Entries into the Sweepstakes. Your Bonus Entries will be entered into the random drawing associated with the h.h. gregg retail store or hhgregg.com associated with your Entry Code. You must have an Entry Code in order to receive a Bonus Entry into the Sweepstakes. There will be a Bonus Entry for the random drawing associated with the Website entry pool via hhgregg.com. Entry Codes will only be available on 11/28/13. All Bonus Entries must be completed by 11:59:59 PM EST on 11/29/13. All requested information on the registration form on the App must be completed to participate in the Sweepstakes and to be eligible to win a prize. Except as contemplated in these Official Rules, personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the privacy policy found on the Websites and App. 4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: At the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period, one (1) winner will be selected from among all eligible entries associated with each participating h.h. gregg retail location and one (1) entry will be selected from among all eligible entries associated with hhgregg.com. The potential winners will be notified by telephone and/or mail and/or , using contact information provided or collected at the time of entry. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours of the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will attempt to contact up to three (3) potential winners of a prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. 4 potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. 5. PRIZE: One (1) Prize is available for each participating h.h. gregg retail store and one (1) Prize is available for hhgregg.com. Each Prize consists of a refund in the amount of such winner s 2013 Black Friday purchase. To determine Prize amount for each winner, a representative of Sponsor will verify such winner s 2013 Black Friday purchase amount. In the event a winner makes more than one (1) purchase at the h.h. gregg retail store associated with his/her winning entry, the Prize will be in the amount of the largest purchase made. In the event a Prize winner did not make a 2013 Black Friday purchase, the Prize for that winner shall be a h.h. gregg gift card in the amount of the average of all purchases made at the h.h. gregg retail store or hhgregg.com (as applicable) associated with the winning entry on Black Friday Gift Card may be applicable to separate terms and conditions imposed by issuer. 6. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prize winners shall be solely responsible for any applicable federal, state and/or local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the applicable prize. Any potential prize winner may have to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where imposing such condition is legal) a Publicity Release (collectively, Prize Claim Documents ). If winner fails or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within five (5) days of prize notification (or a shorter time if required by exigencies), winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Any winner of a Prize valued at $600 or more will be issued a 1099 tax form following the receipt of the Prize for the actual retail value of the purchase at time of promotion and, if applicable, will be required to provide Sponsor with his or her social security number for purposes of same. 7. GENERAL: Acceptance of a prize constitutes prize winner s permission for Sponsor and its designees to use prize winner s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Entrants agree that the Sweepstakes Entities (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or from entrants acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (B) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize s quality -4-

5 or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any damage to an entrant s or any other person s computer system or wireless phone which is occasioned by accessing the Sweepstakes Application/Website/App or otherwise participating in the Sweepstakes, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged, stolen, or postage-due submissions or prize notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, the Sweepstakes Application/Website/App, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated or other automated multiple entries will be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. In the event Sponsor is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. -5-

GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION: ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF INDIANA WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE S LAWS. 9. Box , Wixom, MI Winner s list to be available after 11/30/ SPONSOR: hhgregg Appliances, Inc., 4151 East 96 th Street, Indianapolis, IN THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH, FACEBOOK.
