1 EICMA 2018: innovation and internationalization The 75 th edition of the international Cycle and Motorcycle Show, recorded extraordinary numbers. EICMA is reconfirmed as the most important showroom in the world dedicated to two wheels, but above all as the absolute reference for the industrial sector. For the 2018 edition as well, the actions of EICMA are aimed at innovation and internationalization: an exhibition area of 280,000 square metres, where exhibitors and specialized professionals from all over the world will have the opportunity to meet, with the common objective of generating new contacts and developing their business, becoming established on international markets and promoting new technologies and innovative solutions, unique opportunity to come into direct contact with a large, diversified and passionate public. THE THEMATIC AREAS The thematic areas, increasingly appreciated by the public, are reconfirmed. The START UP AND INNOVATION AREA, reserved to young companies which want to become established in the world of two wheels. The CUSTOM & SPECIAL AREA, dedicated to the world of customization, is reconfirmed as distributed throughout the pavilions, alongside the most prestigious brands of the sector. The TOURISM AREA, dedicated to the world of tourism on two wheels, a special area reserved for all the businesses in this sector: from tour operators to hotels, trade associations, tourism consortia and the trade press. EICMA, which was the first to strongly believe in the most up-to-date and contemporary trend concerning the universe of bikes, E-BIKES, will dedicate a special area to this important segment. Now in its fifth edition, the TEMPORARY BIKERS SHOP, a commercial area wholly dedicated to the motorcyclist. New in 2018 is that the area will be open for the whole of the duration of EICMA. TURNKEY ALL-INCLUSIVE SOLUTIONS: For all the companies that wish to offer visibility to their products without having to worry about setting up their stands, EICMA offers two different types: the Standard solution and the Premium solution.
