1 OFFICIAL RULES #BlueOutFriday Sweepstakes NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 1. ELIGIBILITY: The #BlueOutFriday Sweepstakes (the Sweepstakes ) is open only to legal residents of the State of Michigan who are 18 years or older, all at the time of entry ( Entrant ). Employees, contractors, directors, officers, and agents of the Detroit Lions, Inc. ( Administrator and Sponsor ) their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, and any advertising, promotion, and all other service agencies (including Quicken Loans employees), involved with the Sweepstakes, and members of the immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household of each such employee are not eligible to enter and/or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. 2. SPONSOR & ADMINISTRATOR: Detroit Lions, Inc., 222 Republic Drive, Allen Park, MI AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes Entrant s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor s and Administrator s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. 4. TIMING: The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time ( ET ) on Friday, September 8, 2017 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Friday, December 29, 2017, (the Sweepstakes Entry Period ). 5. HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Entry Period, take a photo ( Photo ) of your game face. Then, enter via Twitter or Instagram as described below. Entries will not be judged. Twitter Method of Entry: During the Sweepstakes Entry Period visit Twitter ( and follow the links and instructions to log in to your Twitter account ( Twitter Account ). If you do not have a Twitter Account, you may create one. Twitter Accounts are free. Twitter s Terms of Service apply: In order for you to enter the Sweepstakes via the Twitter Method of Entry, your Tweet Privacy Twitter Account settings must be unchecked. Once logged into your Twitter Account, follow the links and instructions to become a follower at Twitter.com/lions. Then, Tweet the Photo and include the hashtags: #blueoutfriday. Instagram Method of Entry: During the Sweepstakes Entry Period, access the Instagram application ( Instagram App ) on your mobile device ( Device ). If you do not have the Instagram App, you may download it through the application store on your Device. The Instagram App is free. Instagram s Terms of Use apply: In order for you to enter the Sweepstakes via the Instagram Method of Entry, your Instagram account settings must be public. Once you have accessed the Instagram App, follow the links and instructions to become a follower

2 at Instagram.com/detroitlionsnfl. Then, post your Photo and include the hashtags: #blueoutfriday. ENTRIES SUBMITTED AND/OR POSTED BEFORE OR AFTER THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES OR WIN A PRIZE. Sponsor reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entrant that does not adhere to the submission requirements. Content refers to all content you submit in connection with the Sweepstakes via the Methods of Entry above (including, but not limited to, any pictures, images, videoes, descriptions, writings, explanations, hashtags, tag names, etc.) Content must comply with any applicable Twitter and Instagram submission/posting requirements (including without limitation those located at and as well at those set forth herein. Entries hashtags, descriptions, and all other text/language must be in English. Content must comply with the format and size requirements as set by the social media platforms in which it was posted. By submitting Content for the Sweepstakes, you hereby warrant and represent that your Content conforms to the Photo Guidelines and Photo Content Restrictions (collectively, the Guidelines and Content Restrictions ) set forth in section 5 below. Individuals who do not follow all of the instructions, provide the required information/language in their entry form or post, include the required hashtags, and/or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Sponsor may be disqualified. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different addresses, accounts, identities, registrations, logins, or any other methods may void the entrant s entries and that entrant may be disqualified (and forfeits all prizes won), in Sponsor s discretion. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the social media account used to submit the entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned the social media account by the social media platform or other organization which is responsible for assigning the social media account. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Sponsor. A potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of such account. By uploading a Photo, you agree that your Photo conforms to the Photo Guidelines and Content Restrictions and that Sponsor and/or Administrator, in their sole discretion may disqualify you from the Sweepstakes if either believes your Photo fails to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions. Photo Guidelines: o The Photo s format and size must be compatible with Twitter or Instagram (depending on method of entry); o The Photo must comply with the terms and conditions of Twitter or Instagram (depending on method of entry); o The Photo must be tagged with the following hashtag: #blueoutfriday o The Photo must have Detroit Lions and/or Football element(s) depicted Photo Content Restrictions: o The Photo must not include any private information of a third party such as name, address, phone number, license plate number, or address;

3 o Content cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, contain nudity or any materially dangerous activity; o Content cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message; o Entrant must have permission from all recognizable individuals included in the Photo (if any) to use their names and likenesses. If requested, entrant must be able to provide such permissions in a form acceptable to Sponsor; o The Photo must not include the image of a child under the age of 13; o If a Photo includes the image of a child under the age of 13, the Photo must also include an image of his/her parent/legal guardian; o The Photo must not contain material that violates or infringes on another s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement; o Content cannot contain copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media) with permission (Sponsor does not permit the infringement of others rights and any use of materials not original to the entrant except copyrighted materials owned by Sponsor) is grounds for disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Do not copy your favorite movie, book or photo or include materials, images, graphics, music or trademarks belonging to any third parties or incorporate the name, voices, likeness or personas of any party other than yourself unless you have obtained all rights necessary to permit you to use same in connection with your Content and grant the rights herein granted to Sponsor; o Content cannot contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without permission; o The Photo must not disparage, defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor, Administrator or any other person or party affiliated with this Sweepstakes; o The Photo must not contain any material not created by Entrant; o The Photo must not contain material that Sponsor deems to be inappropriate, indecent, obscene, offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, disparaging or libelous; o Content cannot communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and o The Photo must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where Photo is created. Limit: Each entrant may upload two (2) Photos per week during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Multiple Entrants are not permitted to share the same Twitter Account or Instagram account. CONTENT POSTED TO THE SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES IS NOT EDITED BY SPONSOR AND ARE THE VIEWS/OPINIONS OF THE INDIVIDUAL ENTRANT AND DO NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS OF SPONSOR IN ANY MANNER. Any waiver of any obligation hereunder by

4 Sponsor does not constitute a general waiver of any obligation to entrants. Sponsor reserves the right to waive the Guidelines and Restrictions set forth herein in its reasonable discretion. Content that does not comply with the Guidelines and Restrictions set forth in this section and in these Official Rules will be ineligible for entry in to the Sweepstakes and may be disqualified, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, during or upon completion of the Sweepstakes Entry Period, to request that any entrant resubmit his or her Content which fails to comply with the Guidelines and Restrictions requirements prior to any winner selection. 6. PRIZES: A total of forty (40) Dream Seats for mutually agreed upon Detroit Lions home game during the regular season (Approximate Retail Value ( ARV ): $499/ticket), twenty (20) Detroit Lions autographed items (Approximate Retail Value ( ARV ): $100/item) and one (1) Super Bowl trip (ARV:$3,500). Limit of one (1) prize per entrant. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash equivalent or substitution of prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winners must provide a valid address when accepting prize (no P.O. Boxes permitted) for Sponsor to mail the Prize and Sponsor is not responsible for any damage during shipment. TOTAL ARV of all prizes awarded: $25, WINNER NOTIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS: All winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries by the Sponsor and/or Administrator. The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by private Twitter message or private Instagram message depending on their method of entry. The winner must accept the prize within 48 hours of being notified, or forfeit the prize. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If a potential winner does not respond within the time period stated above, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected in another random drawing. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Potential winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, a travel release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release through which personal information will be collected. Failure to comply when requested may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Each winner must comply with his/her employer s policy on acceptance of any prize. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes on the Prizes. Winners of any prize valued at over $600 will be issued an IRS 1099-Misc form. Please allow two (2) weeks for shipment of prize after confirmation. Prizes will only be awarded to the verified winners and may not be assigned. 8. PUBLICITY & PERSONAL INFORMATION: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the entrant s consent to the Released Parties (defined below in Section 10) use of his/her name, likeness, biographical information, endorsement and state of residence for advertising and/or

5 publicity purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without compensation. GENERAL CONDITIONS: No facsimiles or mechanical reproductions of entries allowed. Submission become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, ineligible, misdirected, undelivered, incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes related materials. Entries mechanically reproduced or made in any fashion other than as specified herein are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, mutilated or incomplete. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, bugs, virus, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor will randomly award the prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions, the website, or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the website, or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THAT PROVISION. 10. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor resulting from your participation or attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors in these Official Rules, the Sweepstakes materials, or the announcement of Winners, including but not limited to such error that a prize may have been won. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree (and agree to confirm in writing if asked): (i) to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Administrator, Twitter, Inc., Instagram Inc., its related companies, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and assigns, promotional partners, prize partners, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively the Released Parties ) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any Prize, including, but not

6 limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b)technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (e) late, lost, or undeliverable mail; or (f)injury, death or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any Prize or any item redeemed therewith; (ii) to not seek, and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; (iii) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any Prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (iv) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-ofpocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys fees and court costs. 11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Sweepstakes and its Official Rules are governed by US law and are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Sweepstakes Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Michigan, U.S.A., without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and/or for entering any judgment, shall take place in the State of Michigan, in the County of Wayne. 12. WINNERS LIST: For a list of winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Sponsor at the address listed in Paragraph 2 above within 30 days of the Drawing Date. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter Inc. or Instagram Inc. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor/Administrator and not to Twitter or Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Sweepstakes shall be directed to Sponsor and/or Administrator and not to Twitter or Instagram.
