When I first saw the cookware from Ceramcor called Xtrema I knew this was something special for any kitchen. Imagine my excitement when I was given an Xtrema 10" Skillet to use in my home. Why am I so interested in Xtrema? It is the versatility of the cookware. Xtrema is made from ceramics. First off the skillet looks very stylish. It is a jet black with a nice shine to the coating. Cooking with the Xtrema takes a little preparation. You need to start off with a medium heat setting for 1 to 2 minutes then you reduce the heat to low. The Xtrema will retain the heat. I first tried eggs in my skillet of course. I heated the skillet as per the guidelines then sprayed all natural coating on the skillet. It took me a little while to get the procedure down and once I did the eggs came out great. I plan on using my Xtrema for many one dish meals from freezer to oven. Using the heat retention benefit will keep the meal hot for serving. The beauty of Xtrema, it is so versatile. It was also Xtremely easy to clean. Use your favorite cleaners. The Xtrema can not be scratched. This is my newest favorite cooking item.
