2 here s a fiver... Supported by Santander, Young Enterprise s Fiver Challenge provides a highly interactive, fun way of introducing financial literacy, resilience and teamwork to primary school pupils. Pupils are pledged 5 and have one month to set up a mini student business and create a product or service they can then sell or deliver at a profit. Plus it s great fun! Fiver Challenge runs from: Monday 4 to Friday 29 June. Funding is limited so register early to avoid disappointment!

3 create an impact... Fiver Challenge is designed to run across four weeks. It offers an excellent introduction to enterprise and the world of work. It provides a great opportunity for pupils to develop key skills including teamwork, managing money and communication skills, important for living in modern Britain. Fiver Challenge is an excellent way to introduce young children to ideas about the work they might do in future, to help raise children s aspirations and develop positive attitudes about work from an early age.

4 on track... The Challenge is available to every young person aged 5-11 years, offering equality across all abilities, as an opportunity to help raise pupil s aspirations and develop positive attitudes to work at an early age. Easy to access online teaching and pupil resources are available to plan and run the challenge successfully. Weekly and national competitions, fun to enter, keeping everyone on track from starting the challenge to selling to the public. The Fiver Challenge has been a fantastic initiative - the children have worked collaboratively and organised themselves superbly. They all broke even or made lots of profit! A fantastic initiative which we will take part in again next year - thank you! Teacher Myself and my children have loved taking part in the Fiver Challenge for three years now and will continue in the years to come. Teacher

5 giving back... Pupils are in full control of the profits they earn and get to decide what to spend them on. They have the opportunity to get involved with their local community and give back when choosing how to use their profi ts. Alternatively, as a national charity which supports young people to successfully earn and manage money, students may also choose to donate the profi t they make to Young Enterprise to enable future young people to take part in Fiver Easy to Challenge. access teaching and student resources online to plan and run the challenge successfully
