3 Emerald Publishing has received its best ever Impact Factor results in the data release of 2017 JCR from Clarivate Analytics compared to 2016 data The JCR provides a combination of impact and influence metrics from 2017 data, and millions of cited and citing journal data points that comprise the complete journal citation network sourced from the Web of Science. The Impact Factor published in the latest JCR is calculated by the number of citations received in 2017 to articles published in that journal in the preceding two years (2015 and 2016). 289 journals are listed in Web of Science 76 journals are accepted in 2017 Journal Citation Reports 213 journals are listed in Emerging Sources Citation Index Overall citations increase Journals with increased 75citations Impact Factors increasing 213 Overall citations are up by 41% 93% of Emerald s Impact Factor journals have seen an increase in the number of citations 77% of Emerald titles have achieved higher Impact Factors New ranked journals year Impact 75Factors Highly ranked journals received their first Impact Factor in the 2017 release.
