2 Welcome to the 2017 CAMS, Carnarvon Motel Western Australian Off Road Racing Championship Brand Identity Guide. These guidelines outline the elements that make up the WAORC brand. This document will guide you in designing and producing documents that will ensure brand consistency which will benefit the WAORC, its competitors, sponsors and supporters. It s the way the WAORC is represented to show the general community who we are and what we are about. Every space in which the WAORC is represented is an opportunity to strengthen our brand, further increase the standing in which our organization is held. This visual identity and branding guide provides the guidelines for the way in which the WAORC brand and products are to be visually represented in the public arena. It includes specific guidelines on identity elements including logo use, layout, and requirements as well as broader guidelines such as use of official communication channels. The WAORC Brand needs to be protected and nurtured in order to grow

3 Sponsorship & Series Partners The WAORC has several sponsors and supporters which must protect their own branding. These include: CAMS Carnarvon Motel Oricom UHF CB Intense LED Australia Western Australian Off Road Racing Association (WAORRA) Nissan Car Club (NCC) Western Desert Racers (WDR) Gascoyne Off Road Racing Association (GORRC) Where possible clubs, competitors and media should endeavor to contact series partners to ensure brand identity and consistency for all parties Minimum Requirements Each club must ensure that all documents, regulations, posters and social media relating to the series or events within the series are in keeping with the Brand Identity Guidelines. All material (images, videos, posters etc.) created for promotion of events within the WAORC must include the WAORC logo as outlined in this guide and the series sponsor, Carnarvon Motel logo in a prominent manner and must be on a light or white background. The style and format for the use of these logos should be consistent with the material created by the WAORC management. Where possible, inclusion of the WAORC Contingency sponsors, Oricom UHF CB and Intense LED Australia is recommended Restrictions Clubs, competitors and sponsors should refrain from creating any external material where official WAORC material exists. Eg. Calendars, Posters, Images etc. Consistency of communication is paramount and integral to the WAORC brand. Unofficial material may be requested to be removed or taken down by the WAORC management. The WAORC reserves the right to restrict or grant permission for the use of its logo and associated branding.

5 Naming Rights Sponsor For 2017 Carnarvon Motel will be the naming rights sponsor for the WAORC. Carnarvon Motel where possible will be promoted and referred to in any media material for the series. As per Section 9 ii) of the Western Australian Off Road Racing Championship Sporting Regulations, a minimum area of vehicle is to be left clear for series branding. This area will be used and sticker placement enforced, with the following logo to be displayed on each side of all competition vehicles at all of the WAORC events. If a competitor wishes to utilize the opt out clause noted in the sporting regulations.
