2 Conference Overview The Wilson Cardiology Update will provide an update on the most current evidence-based diagnostic and treatment strategies for cardiovascular patients. It will focus on practical and clinical issues faced on a daily basis by healthcare professionals. A combination of case presentations and didactic lectures will be used to provide academically sound and clinically relevant cardiology review. Target Audience: The symposium is designed for primary care physicians, cardiologists, cath lab technicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with a special interest in the field of cardiovascular medicine. Accommodations Exhibitors will make their arrangements for accommodations directly with the hotel by phone or online. A block of rooms is reserved for conference participants at a discounted rate of $189 + taxes and resort fees. Please mention the group Wilson to receive the conference rate. Plenty of free self-service parking and a free parking shuttle service is available on site. Registration Complete the registration form included in this document and return it with payment by August 31, Each exhibitor registration covers up to two company representatives. Exhibitor Space Assignments Premium and regular exhibitor booths are available. Premium exhibitor booths are located closer to conference activities. 3 Modification Presbyterian Healthcare Services reserves the right to modify the conference s schedule or program as necessary. Presbyterian also reserves the right to cancel this conference, in which case a full refund of exhibitor or sponsorship fees will be provided. We are unable to refund any travel costs (e.g., flight, hotel, etc.) in the case of cancellation. Cancellation Exhibitors must cancel by August 16, 2017, for a full refund. If Presbyterian is notified of cancellation by August 31, 2017, 50 percent of the exhibitor fee will be refunded. After the deadline of August 31, 2017, no refunds will be granted. A company that reserves booth space and fails to inform Presbyterian of its intent to cancel automatically forfeits 100 percent of the total cost. 5 Terms and Conditions Statement of Purpose: This CME program is for scientific and educational purposes only and will not promote the company s products, directly or indirectly. Commercially-supported social events before or after CME activities will neither compete nor take precedence over educational content. Contributed Funds: All monies must be paid with the full knowledge and approval of Presbyterian s CME Advisory Committee. No additional funds from the company (e.g., additional honoraria, extra social events, activity refreshments/meals, etc.) will be paid to any activity administrator, speaker or others involved with the activity. Development: Arrangements for commercial exhibits or advertisements cannot influence planning or interfere with the presentation, nor can they be a condition of the provision of commercial support for CME activities. Selection of presenters, topics, objectives, content and evaluation tools must be under the control of Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Ancillary Promotional Activities: Advertisements and promotional materials may not be displayed or distributed in the educational space immediately before, during or after a CME activity. No product advertisements will be permitted in the same room or obligatory path of the educational activity. Exhibitor staff may attend an educational activity, but may not engage in sales activities while in the room. Acknowledgment: Exhibitors must be acknowledged as exhibitors and not commercial supporters. Liability: Neither the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa nor Presbyterian Healthcare Services will accept liability for any items in the exhibit area at any time.
