We have been using Mitchell Repair and Estimating software for 14 years now and have been very satisfied with it's performance. It's great to have updated information at our fingertips. We purchased Manager software 3 years ago, but due to my insane work schedule and my lack of confidence in "trusting" the computer to perform all the business tasks that I was doing by hand we failed to implement its use. I discussed this issue with my local Mitchell representative Jack Wisniewski, who urged me to begin using the program. I was still reluctant to set up and use it myself, being more comfortable doing things my way. After seeing my inability to get started Jack and I discussed me hiring an office manager/service writer. He even offered to send me a few prospective candidates. We hired one of his applicants 18 months ago and went to work using Manager. After only 1 week, the improvement in our shop productivity, sales, and overall flow of work was unbelievable. All reports. sales stats, invoices and customer histories were just a touch of a button away. Needless to say, the change has been amazing. Upon seeing the impact that Manager had made, I talked to Jack about adding Customer Retention Marketing. I can say that since CRM, our customer loyalty has improved greatly. Loyal customers spend an average of 3 times as much as new customers and you spend no money to get them in.the door. The response we have received from our customers thus tar has been all positive. They like the fact that we are tracking theft vehicle's service needs and we give them a report that they can see in black & white of what the next service may be. I am certain that SI will enable us to move our business to the next level of service. We are currently looking into Mitchell's web hosting service for our company website. We need a more professional, informative better designed website and I would like to see what Mitchell has to offer. More info is on my website too. Dear Mitchell Man. I need a new computer. What kind should I get to run my Mitchell Teamworks? Start with a business class machine, such as Dell or Gateway. Avoid Vista software whenever possible. A fast processor is more important than a large hard drive, and if you will be using the DVD version of OnDemand, stick with a high speed DVD drive, instead of a combo drive. If you do not have high speed internet, be sure to get a flash drive for your USB port, to use as backup. The full specs are on my website at Floppy drive ( either internal or external ) is required to load Manager, as well as the DVD versions of OnDemand and Estimator to your hard drive.
