2 The Jacksonville TIGERS volunteers and members are committed to seeing that our children are trained by dedicated coaches that foster an environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, physical and mental discipline, self-esteem, leadership and sportsmanship. This commitment is essential in order for each player to reach their full potential on and off the court. In addition to providing the highest quality of coaching and fundamental skill development, our ambition is aimed toward keeping the youth of today in the classroom and steered away from negative influences. We value the importance of education on and off the court, service and appreciation for the community plus our team philosophy will embody these elements of emphasis. Our team will travel and compete throughout the state of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina and we would appreciate your help for this year s campaign. As our season begins this winter, our fundraising efforts begin right NOW. Our goal is to raise money so that travel accommodations, tournament fees, practice time as well as equipment and uniform expenses can be subsidized by various donations. This will enable our team to participate, compete and gain prominent exposure in the AAU League.

3 WHO: The Jacksonville TIGERS MOTTO: Winners Do Daily What Losers Do Occasionally ORGANIZATION: Amateur Athletic Union, AAU Affiliated- 501c3 non-profit organization TARGET: Young males from Jacksonville and surrounding areas PURPOSE: Our teams offer a higher level of competition than is offered in recreational basketball leagues with an emphasis on preparing them for the next level of play in high school and hopefully college. Our team sets out to benefit youth through the sport of basketball. GOAL: To promote development in leadership, sportsmanship, education opportunities and athletic excellence.
