12 New Recycled Sign Option As another option to assist towns in maximizing their ability to get signs for points, NH Signs is pleased to offer New Hampshire the Beautiful (NHTB) signage on recycled Di-bond substrate as an alternative to new product. New substrate will continue to be used for all the larger signs, where double sided signs are produced, or where requested by the customer. When a customer chooses recycled material, the substrate will be used on single-sided signs for some of the smaller signs produced for customers. The reverse side may have graphics or be of a different color. However, this should not impact the overall aesthetics of the visible side of the sign. The sign will have a label identifying it as recycled. The decision to move to a recycled substrate is a win-win situation for everyone involved. Often, the same substrate is removed from buildings and canopies, only to end up in landfills. In addition, NH Signs uses the Hewlett Packard wide-format printer for your graphics. This state-of the-art technology uses HP latex inks which are water- based; this formulation helps reduce the impact of printing on the environment by being very low emission and by not using harmful solvents. Nevertheless, it provides overall durability to outperform other ink technologies. Please note this recycled sign option is not required. If you wish to get a brand new sign, you may still do so. This new option is offered only as a way to get more signage for the same points. Also, please note that this option is not offered for facility signs. It is only available for the smaller signs listed in the chart below, which shows the points for both new and recycled material signs.
