Digital channels are playing an increasingly imprtant rle in ur marketing & cmmunicatin activities each year, helping us t increase awareness, acquire new supprters, deepen engagement and grw fundraising incme. We currently have slid web, and scial media platfrms (including a best-practise peer-tpeer fundraising platfrm) and a successful track recrd in digital marketing (especially Facebk advertising). Hwever, we believe there is a huge pprtunity fr us t make mre f new technlgy t increase ur impact, and we re investing in new technlgy (including a new bestpractice CRM and marketing autmatin platfrm) t make this happen. In this imprtant and varied rle yu ll be respnsible fr setting ur digital marketing strategies and increasing the perfrmance f ur digital channels. Yu ll develp, deliver, test and ptimise ur digital advertising. Yu ll imprve the functinality and perfrmance f ur website, rganic search and . An yu ll wrk with clleagues t develp seamlessly integrated n and ffline supprter jurneys. Yu ll be wrking with a mtivated and experienced team with an ambitius marketing and cmmunicatin strategy and grwth targets t match and yu ll be making a big and grwing cntributin t cmmunities affected by cnflict and disaster. 4 Abut the Marketing and Cmmunicatins Department Our FIA Award winning Marketing and Cmmunicatins Department s purpse is t empwer passinate peple in Australia t give, fundraise and take actin t achieve safety, justice and dignity in cmmunities threatened by cnflict and disaster. We d this thrugh a mix f direct marketing, relatinship fundraising, events and campaigns. By implementing successful strategies, ur supprter base and fundraising incme has been grwing rapidly. Last year ur fundraising incme increased by 40%, and we have ambitius plans t d even better in the future. T help us d this, we re develping ur team f fundraising, marketing and campaigning prfessinals; investing in new technlgy and building innvatin and best practice in t everything we d. 5 Digital Marketing Executive psitin descriptin Key Respnsibilities: Act as the digital marketing lead fr the agency. Maximise the cntributin f digital channels t the lifetime value f Act fr Peace s supprter base by wrking with clleagues t leverage digital pprtunities that increase ur public awareness, and supprter acquisitin, engagement, retentin and value. This will include: Channel lead: develping channel strategies and taking respnsibility fr ur websites, edm, scial and digital marketing channels Best practise: Keep up-t-date with technlgy develpments and share best practise acrss the department, wrking with clleagues t develp their digital marketing skills and capability Prject teams: act as the digital marketing lead n prduct specific prject teams (e.g. ur Christmas Bwl appeal and Ratin Challenge prject teams) Manage ur digital marketing activities t maximise perfrmance and return n investment. This includes develping and implementing: Facebk, YuTube, Instagram and ther scial media advertising (Facebk advertising is a key acquisitin channel fr us) Ggle Adwrds, Ggle Grants, and ther SEM Remarketing, display and ther digital advertising Influencer engagement and referrals Optimise the perfrmance f Act fr Peace s websites (actfrpeace.rg.au and actfrpeace.ratinchallenge.rg.au) t maximise supprter acquisitin, engagement, retentin and value. This will include: Imprving SEO Audiences: prfiling ur digital audiences, develping user persnas, user testing Design: managing the develpment f wireframes, design, UX, navigatin and user jurneys, A/B testing f pages and user jurneys, cnversin rate ptimisatin (fr respnsive, desktp and mbile sites) Functinality and integratin: cmmissin functinality and platfrm upgrades and integratin with ur ther platfrms (CRM, marketing autmatin platfrms, scial) as required Optimise the perfrmance f Act fr Peace s edm t maximise the engagement, retentin & value f supprters. This includes: Set-up and management f ur marketing autmatin tl / ESP (Pardt) Develping, testing and ptimising templates fr a range f clients Building the capacity f clleagues t implement best practise 5

6 Wrk with clleagues t maximise ur scial media engagement: wrk with the Cmmunicatins Crdinatr (respnsible fr scial cntent) t ptimise the perfrmance f ur scial media channels. This will include: Respnding t changes in the Facebk algrithm. Optimising the frequency, timing and targeting f fund, earned and prmted cntent t maximise engagement Develping the strategies fr ur ther scial media channels including, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and YuTube Integratin f scial with ther channels in the marketing mix Analytics: regular reprting and analysis f the perfrmance f ur marketing activity, websites, and scial channels as abve. Make recmmendatins, based n analysis and research t ptimise perfrmance, return n investment and t ensure targets are met. Financial management: respnsible fr meeting incme and expenditure budgets. Line manage intern(s) as required Manage relatinships with external suppliers and platfrms, including develpers, digital marketing agencies, Ggle, Facebk etc. Oversee website hsting, platfrm licences, security and cmpliance with privacy legislatin etc. Play an active rle in the Marketing and Cmmunicatin department and supprt the develpment and delivery f departmental plans and initiatives. Other tasks as directed by the Head f Digital and CRM. N.B. This rle is nt respnsible fr digital cntent. Cntent is prduced by varius members f the Marketing & Cmmunicatins Department, and editrial respnsibility lies with the Cmmunicatins Crdinatr. Reprts t: Head f Digital and CRM. Success will be indicated by: Significant grwth in digital incme and supprter acquisitin, engagement, retentin and value. Successful delivery f ther key perfrmance indicatrs, deadlines and targets. Exact KPIs will be set as the digital strategy is develped. Annual reviews f perfrmance against bjectives. 6

Experience f managing successful digital marketing campaigns and a sund understanding f SEO, display, Facebk advertising etc. (E) 2. Experience f managing websites and an understanding f sme r all f the fllwing areas: CMS systems, managing develpers, UX design, mbile ptimisatin, CRM integratin, scial integratin (E) 3. Experience f managing successful edm campaigns that have included audience segmentatin and testing (E) 4. Entrepreneurial, practive, can-d attitude and excellent cnceptual understanding (E) 5. Excellent prject management skills and the ability t priritise and manage wrklad t meet tight deadlines (E) 6. Strng relatinship management, negtiatin and influencing skills and ability t engage at senir levels (internally and externally) (E) 7. Experience f using digital reprting and analytics tls including Ggle Analytics, Ggle Tag Manager, cmpetence in Facebk Pwer Editr/Ads Manager and basic cmpetence in HTML and Phtshp (E) 8. Familiarity with A/B testing tls (such as Optimizely), scial media mnitring tls (such as Htsuite), marketing autmatin tls (such as Market/Pardt) and CRM systems (such as Salesfrce) (D) 9.
