2 Welcome to the St. Louise de Marillac School Feed the Mind program Our Feed the Mind (FTM) program is a great way to reduce your tuition bill and/or your Family Share requirement. You will also help us to raise money for St. Louise School. It costs you nothing extra! Simply purchase gift cards for things that you would normally spend money on anyway, like groceries, gas, restaurants, travel and clothing. Online orders can be accepted this year through our new fundraising website Simply login with your user id and password, select Order Online, then Feed the Mind, then Order Online. The order form will appear on the screen and it is a simple process from there. All of your purchases and tuition/family share credits can be tracked through this website as well. Orders are accepted every day. Order forms are also available on the left side of your weekly family folder. As always, FTM gift cards can be purchased at the LeGras Parish Office. You can find all of the FTM ordering information on our school website as well, under Parents/Feed the Mind. Last year, families that participated frequently were able to take hundreds of dollars off of their tuition bill and/ or their Family Share obligation. If you try nothing else, consider purchasing gift cards for your grocery shopping. It s an easy way to start. If you haven t used the program yet, we hope you ll give it a try! I Saved $ 842 on Tuition for my Grandchildren Last Year! I love using the Feed the Mind program! It is easy, efficient, and the savings really add up. When I first began using the program I was a bit skeptical...how much could I really save? The answer is tons! We all have to eat, so purchasing Giant Eagle gift cards was the easiest place to start. Now I use it for many of my purchases. I send my order to the office in the morning, and the gift cards are sent over later that same day. On weekends I often stop on my way to the mall to fill the orders for the stores I will be visiting. When we needed a new refrigerator and some materials for home repairs, I purchased Giant Eagle gift cards, then headed to Giant Eagle to purchase Home Depot cards. I had free gas for quite a while AND I had a nice credit to my FTM account! Anytime I need a gift, FTM is my first thought. Sometimes I choose to give a gift card. Other times I use the gift card to purchase the gift I want to give. There are many stores and business to choose from, so there is something there for everyone. I use this for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, and any other occasion that may arise. Another wonderful feature of the FTM program is that family and friends may also purchase the gift cards and designate your account to receive the benefits. Through the years we have been able to save thousands of dollars towards my grandchildren s tuition. This past year alone we have saved nearly $850. If you have not yet used the FTM program, I urge you to give it a try! We all need to eat, we all have home repairs, and who doesn t love TJ Maxx? Janet Klinar

3 Why Should I Purchase Gift Cards? For each gift card purchased a percentage (1% 18%) is split evenly between your designated account and St. Louise School. Last fiscal year, Feed The Mind raised over $35,000 for the school. Credits can pay down Tuition or the Family Share requirement of $600. Gift cards make great corporate gifts. Business owners this is especially great during the holidays! Kohl s gift cards to pay your credit card bills. Only Kohl s cards bought through the church can do this! Purchase Giant Eagle and Shop N Save gift cards and use those cards to purchase other gift cards to get Fuel Perks at Get Go or Sunoco, especially during the double Fuel Perks promotions. We all grocery shop, why not get something for it? Give a percentage to the school and help pay down your tuition, or help a child in need via the Angel Fund. It s a win, win! It doesn t cost a penny more and the little bit of extra time required is worth the benefit! Order today by filling out the form in the weekly folder. Same day orders will come home on Thursday. Special day orders will be filled within a week. Cards are also sold at LeGras Parish Center 7 days a week. First time ordering? 5 St. Louise Feed the Mind Retail Rebate Agreement Must be completed before first purchase! To be filled out only once before the first order is placed, or if you want to change your designation. St. Louise de Marillac School offers its patrons and benefactors the opportunity to purchase coupons or cards that can be used to make purchases at various retail establishments. The purchaser pays face value for the coupons or cards, while the retailer agrees to apply a discount or rebate to purchases made with that coupon or card. The remaining discounts and rebates, less the applicable administrative fee, are adjustments to the purchase prices of the items purchased, and belong to the purchaser. The purchaser can agree to donate these discounts or rebates to St. Louise de Marillac School Angel Fund, the Family Share Program or rebates can be credited to a tuition account for the benefit of particular students (school or Religious Education). The Feed the Mind program is a fundraiser for St. Louise de Marillac School. I/we, as the purchaser(s) of the cards or coupons that are subject to the Agreement, hereby agree and determine as follows: I/we hereby designate 100% of any of the discounts or rebates received as a result of the coupons or cards that I/we purchase under this Agreement as a contribution to St. Louise Angel Fund program. This contribution is tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code, subject to satisfaction of applicable substantiation requirements. I/we hereby designate 100% of any of the discounts or rebates received as a result of the coupons or cards that I/we purchase under this Agreement to be credited to the following account. This designation is not tax deductible. (Please select only one from the options below. If both Tuition and Family Share are checked off, it will default to Family Share.) This designation is not tax deductible. This election will remain in effect for all purchases made on or after the date of this Agreement. This Agreement may be modified by signing a new retail rebate Agreement. If purchases are made by check, the purchaser agrees to indemnify the scrip company and/or St. Louise for any losses resulting from insufficient funds in the purchaser s account necessary to pay for the retail coupons or cards.
