5 OUR HISTORY Prior to establishing the company in 2010, Engr. Hazem El Gendy previously co-founded the highly successful Beijing Emirates Construction (BEC) ( which fast became a recognized leader in Construction & Development industry and has been operating now for more than two decades. As the economy began to recover from the financial crisis of 2008, Eng. Hazen El Gendy took strength and courage from within the BEC group, from its robust and dedicated workforce, to their undying belief that a nation can bravely withstand any economic turmoil and emerge with a revived hope. Focusing on what people need, Masy Global Trading Enterprises began and their first decision focused on investing in the Food and Beverage industry. Since its inception, Masy Global Trading Enterprises has not stopped its dynamism and in no time at all, their vision to expand and diversify products and services to reach out more to the masses steadily came to materialize, as it expanded into a holding, it stretched out its wings to venture further into Travel and Tourism, Trading and most recently, by capturing Dubai with their own taste of Deli. 6 F M I & F IG Food Investment Group (FIG) trading company based in Europe specializing in the export and distribution of citrus fruits worldwide, FIG operated a number of offices all over Europe. Their offices are based in Spain, Italy, Greece, The Netherlands (3 more countries not mentioned on the recorded interview) Food Market Industry (FMI) based in Holland facilitates import and export of fruits from MENA to Europe (and vise versa). Food Market Industry (FMI, Egypt) - Handles the exporting of grapes from Egypt to The Netherlands and various parts of Europe. FMI Egypt also exports citrus products to Ukraine and Russia as well as recently expanding into importing bananas from Ecuador to UAE. M AS Y T O U R S Masy Tours, Egypt - Offers a worry-free Hajj and Umrah package trips (ticket, hotel bookings, visa processing as well as meet and greet service). One of the major projects worthy of mention is the smooth facilitation of travel packages for the participants of Arab Health, an even held in Dubai on an annual basis. Very soon, the service of Masy Tours will be invading and cater to the travel needs of Greece and Dubai.
