2 DEAR EXHIBITOR AND SPONSOR We are very pleased to invite your company to become a sponsor and exhibitor at the Plant Biology Europe 2018 conference in Copenhagen, June PBE 2018 will be the 3rd biennial conference of its kind, jointly organized by the European plant science associations EPSO (European Plant Science Organisation) and FESPB (The Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology). By taking part in PBE2018, you will have access to around 1000 plant science researchers, students and laboratory professionals, representing all parts of the global plant biology community. Therefore this event is an opportunity for relevant companies and organizations to gain exposure to all levels of the European and International Plant Biology research community. The main PBE2018 scientific topics will be Phenotyping, Genome based breeding, Natural Products, Genome Evolution, the Plant Microbiome, Photosynthetic Diversity, Seeds for the future, Niche Crops and Environmental Resilience. Poster sessions will have a high priority during PBE2018 and the exhibitor area will be located in connection with both the poster and lunch break areas, providing companies with a prime location to gain exposure and interact with all conference participants. 6 Delegate Items The following items will provide sponsors with visibility and unique opportunities to reach each and every conference participant. Please contact the conference organisers for more information and availability of the sponsor items. All sponsors will be listed on the conference website and in the conference app. Items in conference bag DKK 5,000 (+ productions costs, if applicable) You are very welcome to suggest items suitable for the conference bag. Items could be t-shirts, pencils, notepads, power banks, reusable bottles, snacks, smartphone covers, flyers, or vouchers or coupons for purchases on-line or during the conference exhibition etc. Please contact the conference organisers for more information or suggestions for items. Conference app DKK 50,000 The conference app is the modern and digital replacement of the printed program and abstract book. The smartphone app provides a complete and interactive overview of the event, including the conference program, venue maps, traffic directions, social interaction platform, and many more. There are various opportunities for sponsors to obtain added visibility in the app. USB stick DKK 20,000 (+ production costs, if applicable) The USB stick is distributed to each delegate in the delegate bag and at the service desk. The USB-stick contains the abstracts of PBE2018 scientific presentations. A USB stick sponsor is visible with logo on the cover of the stick. Pocket Program DKK 20,000 The Pocket Program is a quick and easy small booklet reference guide for all congress participants. It includes the overall program, general information and map of the Congress Centre. The sponsor logo and advertisement will appear on the outside back page and logos in side the Pocket Program. The format is 10.4 x 14.5 cm in colour print. Badge Cords/Lanyards DKK 15,000 (+ production costs, if applicable) The badge cord attached to the name badge is a highly visible item worn by every delegate and can be used separately after the conference as key lanyard. The sponsor will have company name and logo visible on the cord. Conference Bag DKK 30,000 (+ Production costs) The conference bag will feature the printed sponsor and conference logo and will be distributed to all conference participants. The bag itself will be a tote of durable quality and can be used after the conference for daily shopping needs, offering the sponsor continued advertising value even after the conference is over. Digital Screens and displays DKK The venue has multiple info screens placed in highly visible positions. The screens will be used both for conference information and for advertising. There are various opportunities for company exposure and accordingly also various prices. Please contact us for more information. 6

7 Social Events Social events also include meals and breaks that form a core part of the networking opportunities during the conference. Each event attracts a large number of participants that will pass through and mingle in the exhibition area. Sponsors and exhibitors can utilize these opportunities for added networking with participants. Congress dinner DKK The Congress Dinner is a joint event that will take place on June 20 at the Langelinie Pavillion and all participants and accompanying persons have the opportunity to take part in the dinner. The sponsor s logo and company name will be highlighted on the inside and outside of the dinner venue, and will also be included in the list of sponsors. Lunch DKK , per day Lunches will be served in the restaurants at the conference centre. Sponsors will be acknowledged with logos in the restaurant area. Sponsors can further enhance their participation with branded napkins, sugar sticks, etc. The company name will also be included in the list of sponsors. Coffee Break DKK , per break Complimentary coffee/tea and refreshments will be served daily to all participants during official coffee breaks. The serving points will be located mainly in the exhibition area and can be coordinated around the sponsor s booth, otherwise the sponsor will be acknowledged at each service station.
