Yur jb is t create and secure significant media cverage f seriusly cmpelling and psitive smart meter stries and cntent. Respnsible fr practive cnsumer PR, yu will drive the creatin and sell in f news wrthy cntent abut Britain s great smart meter revlutin and the wealth f benefits it will bring t husehlds acrss Britain and t the natin at large. Yu ll als be respnsible fr paid media partnerships, wrking clsely with the marketing team and media wners t ensure authentic, n message and brilliantly prduced cntent reaches British cnsumers in native envirnments. T d this effectively, yu must maintain extremely clse and integrated relatinships with the Head f News and the heads f marketing. Key tasks / respnsibilities Lead the prductin f a rlling cntent plan, ensuring it is prperly infrmed by insight, t drive the prductin f practive cnsumer media cntent Ensure such cntent is prperly targeted, bth at a cnsumer and utlet level, and versee the sell-in f this cntent accrdingly (bth directly and via the PR agency) Wrk with the Head f Insight t ensure a rbust measurement and evaluatin framewrk fr practive PR and paid media partnerships is in place Wrk clsely with and prvide prject leadership t the retained PR agency(ies) Ensure that at a prject level, the PR agency(ies) are prperly and cmprehensively briefed, deliver against brief and targets, with results rigrusly evaluated Wrk with the cntributin f the head f brand and advertising and the media agency t lead a prgramme f paid media partnerships and versee the prductin f this cntent, wrking cllabratively with media wners Wrk clsely with the Head f Brand and Advertising t ensure that all paid partnership cntent is aligned with agreed marketing framewrks and that claims are accurate and apprpriately substantiated Prvide line management t the Cnsumer PR Managers in yur team. Assist the Directr f Public Relatins and Digital Media in the prductin f an annual PR and digital media plan, in line with the brad business plan, t meet rganisatinal KPIs as defined in the perfrmance management framewrk Wrk clsely with the Head f News t ensure that yur team wrks seamlessly with the reactive media team, that there is a jined up apprach t managing key media cntacts, and that public psitins and lines are agreed and enfrced Reprt n the effectiveness f practive PR and paid media partnerships t the Senir Leadership Team Be a full member f the management grup and play a psitive and practive rle in the management f ur rganisatin and campaign Smart Metering Cmmunicatins Bdy Limited (trading as Smart Energy GB) is a cmpany registered in England and Wales.
