You could easily sell 100 mascaras this month! Tell all of your customers and everyone you know that you are participating in a Mascara Blowout to sell 100 of the NEW LASH LOVE MASCARA. Romance this wonderful product by saying, New Lash Love Mascara Defines, Defends, and Delivers 4 TIMES THE VOLUME! IF she wants one- then tell her about the NEW Mascara Primer (available June 10, 2012) After they ve made their purchase(s), ask them if they would be interested in receiving any product in our line at a 50% discount. All they have to do is take orders and collect payment for 9 more mascaras! Give her a Look Book and sales tickets ~ then follow up with each purchase to schedule an appointment! If she sells only 5, give her a consolation prize, such as a $5 gift certificate for her next order, or 10% of what she DID sell in hostess credit. Lots of new names and 100 mascaras = $1500 in sales and over $600 IN YOUR POCKET! Go Directly To Jail! Do Not Pass GO Until You ve Collected $300! Conduct a Mary Kay Jail-a-thon! This works great to sell your 20 lipsticks for our Charitable Foundation Goal! Decide on a one hour time slot this week to put yourself in Mary Kay Jail. Make sure you will have no distractions. Take the cordless and go into the closet if you have to! You will need your customer/ business debut list, sales slips, and your datebook. Here s a suggested dialog: In honor of my unit working to be #1 in Erie, I am holding a Jail-a-thon and donating (10%, $1 from every order, $1 from every Lipstick or lipgloss, a portion of the proceeds, etc.) to the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation for Cancer Research. Tonight, I m in Mary Kay Jail until I reach my pledge to sell $300, and I m calling to see what products you might need. Call your Director AS SOON as you have completed the challenge! Send Mary your contribution. I will make it in your name through our unit so the unit gets credit for it! Won t you feel wonderful, knowing that you had a $300+ HOUR, and are contributing to such a worthy cause?! Feel free to do this as often as you like, and set your goal higher each time! Hostess On The Go Let your Hostess help you with your sales goals, while she earns free Mary Kay Products! There are 2 simple ways to do this: 1) Give her a merchandising bag or MK Pink bag with a full size fragrance she can use as a tester, a full size or mini Satin Hands set, Beauty Books, sales tickets, and business cards. She can take outside orders! 2) Give your Hostess (someone that you trust) a bag or basket filled with products that require little demonstration (Shave Cream, Hand Cream, Mascara, Private Spa lotions/gels, etc.) totaling $100 retail or more. Have her sell these actual products. In either case, give her hostess credit based on the sales (20% credit, or any item 1/2 price, etc.) Have several customers do this at the same time and just watch the sales roll in!

2 Telephone Lottery When calling for reorders, tell your customers that by placing an order of any size, they may choose any number between 1 and 25. After all of the numbers have been chosen, you will draw one number and that customer will win her entire order free. This is great to use between Preferred Customer mailing. OR...For every $10 in reorders, she may choose one number between 1 and 50. When all numbers are chosen, you will draw for $50 in free Mary Kay products. (That s at least $500 in sales!) Product of the Week Select a product each week to highlight when making customer calls. Put it by your phone to remind you to mention it. Say, By the way, let me tell you about my product of the week! It s Targeted Action Toning Lotion it helps with cellulite and firms your skin perfect for summer bathing suit weather and shorts. Normally $28- it s on special for $22! FACIAL OVER THE PHONE Script when you mail things out for a facial over the phone. Hi Suzie!! Just a reminder that you are in my calendar for our phone "make over" at 4 pm your time this Sunday. I'm looking forward to it! :-) I have an envelope on it's way to you with the supplies you'll need for the makeover. In that envelope is a clear goodie bag with almost everything you need for our appointment. Here's what's in the envelope: -Catalog -Samples of the Time Wise cleanser, moisturizer, day solution and night solution -clear disposable tray -Cotton balls, cotton swabs, eye applicators -A baggie with your color look (eye colors, cheek colors, lip liner, lipstick, gloss, eye liner & mascara) -Printout showing the colors I've selected for your custom look Make sure you are in a place where you won't be interrupted. Here is what you will need to do before our phone call: -Make sure your hands are clean since you'll be touching your face -Remove any eye makeup-don't worry about other make up since the cleanser will remove it -Have a warm, wet washcloth ready -Have a mirror and a headband/ponytail holder ready -Layout the supplies so they are all easy to get to -Open the sample cleanser, moisturizer, day solution and night solution packets and squirt some out on to the clear tray. It's best to place them on the tray in that order from top to bottom. You will not need all that is in the packet so you can be conservative. -Be ready to have a good time!!!! I know there is a lot of information here so please let me know if I haven't made something clear! If for any reason you can't make it please let me know as soon as you can. Simply have your family and friends choose their colors from the color chart or the enclosed brochure, write their color choice on the order form, fill out a receipt (enclosed) and include their choice of payment. They can pay by cash, check (payable to me), Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. I ll deliver the products back to you within a week of receiving all the orders. You would be helping me sooooo much in achieving my star consultant goal with Mary Kay!! SCRIPT FOR YOUR LIPSTICK HOSTESS: Hi, I am helping a girlfriend of mine complete a HUGE SALES GOAL in Mary Kay! She is currently in a lipstick contest and I promised her that I could get 15 orders of lipstick and/or lipglosses from my friends and family. If you could look at this color chart/ brochure and pick out a few lipstick or lipglosses of your choice, you would be helping my girlfriend complete her goal as well as helping me get a free lipstick and lip gloss set! Which lipsticks do you think you would want for yourself?

5 This is a great idea for variation of On the Go!! Shop & Sample Appointment! HOT!! You can do this in between scheduled classes and facials with new customers. This are Shop n Sample appointments with my established clients. Are you finding that consultants and Directors too, get a reorder, and some of the time just pop it in a mailing bag and send it out? Or deliver it to the customer s house sometimes when she s at work and either way, 9 out of 10 times you don t get to see the customer? As you call your customers now, offer them your Shop n Sample delivery appointment. Take their order and in non-booked time slots, offer them an appt. to fill your datebook. Take the black sample zip carry bag offered from MK Connections and fill and update all the pages with ALL the samples in every category imaginable. The reorder customer gets their delivery with me and 20 minutes to shop n sample thru my samples and take as many as she wants of the samples she would like to try lipsticks, glosses, eye shadows, blushes, lip/eye pencils, foundations, fragrances They get 48 hours to try them and when they place an order of $40+ from their samples they get $5 off. Many of these customers are not interested in classes and the standard excuse is I don t have time but with this concept they are loving it! Here are some of the results one director had in just 6 weeks in one week 5 of my reorder customers agreed to the Shop n Sample delivery appt. with their reorder delivery (1 just reordered her moisturizer, another her mascara, and 3 had PCP order of $40 or more at the time of their delivery). Within 48 hours of seeing me and selecting their samples, 4 had reorders of over $120+ each and one with $55 reorder. Oh, the gal wanting only a mascara she recruited this week! Quick and Easy Hand Facials An on-the-go appointment is an easy way for Consultants to market products. Independent Senior Sales Director Julie Potts from Alpharetta, Georgia, teaches the Independent Beauty Consultants in her unit to do 10-minute hand facials while they are on the go. They can easily be done during a lunch hour or at a basketball game, anywhere there is a sink nearby. To conduct hand facials, you will want to have samples or demos of the products mentioned below. Julie also has a Travel Roll-Up Bag on hand, filled with the Beauty Essentials sets so she can upsell glamour and skin supplements as well. At each step of the hand facial, you'll want to be sure to share the benefits of each item, including the results of using TimeWise that are presented in the Beauty Book. You may suggest the customer apply the products in the following order: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Apply TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser on the back of the right hand. Rinse off. Apply TimeWise Age-Fighting Moisturizer on the back of the right hand Apply Day Solution with Sunscreen SPF 30 on the right hand. Apply Night Solution on another area of the right hand. Apply Mary Kay Foundation on the back of both hands. Point out the difference in how the foundation blends and looks on the hand that was first primed with the TimeWise products. Finish with the first three steps of Satin Hands on both hands to remove the foundation. For the fourth step, Julie substitutes the TimeWise Visibly Fit Body Lotion for the Satin Hands Hand Cream with Sunscreen SPF 4 to help promote the purchase of the Day Spa products in pocket 4.
