1 Independent Aftermarket Genuine GM Rewards FAQ GENERAL QUESTIONS: What is the Genuine GM Rewards program? The Genuine GM Rewards program rewards customers on eligible Genuine GM powertrain and collision parts purchases. What is Genuine GM Rewards, and where do I find my rewards? Genuine GM Rewards is an on-line promotional platform that allows for national, regional and local promotions to be marketed to eligible customers - all in one place. Go directly to and log in or and click on Genuine GM Rewards logo. What will I find when I go to Genuine GM Rewards? National, regional and local promotions offered to you, based on your profile. Your personal "wallet" and earnpower points balance. Genuine GM Rewards points are also referred to as earnpower points. Links to other key websites New exciting ways to spend YOUR points Important news including: product information, leadership messages, training updates and other information What are Genuine GM Rewards points (also called earnpower points)? Through this rewards program customers earn points or earnpower points. Each point is equivalent to $1 of purchasing power. Points can be redeemed in a variety of ways but are not transferable directly into cash. Who do I call for help relative to reward point usage? Dial How often and when will my rewards be put into my earnpower account? Rewards will be paid by the 4th Tuesday of the month following the purchase.

2 How can I redeem my points? Your personal earnpower page allows you to manage your Genuine GM Rewards points from a wide range of choices: 1. Use your points to shop directly from the online exclusively yours (ey) rewards collection, featuring more than 3,000 items, millions of books, music and DVDs, individual online travel, event tickets, experiential awards, online specialties, gifts, and more! 2. Transfer your points to your exclusively yours card. This card can be used at over 160 well-known stores and dining establishments, such as: Macy s, Lowe s, Lord and Taylor, and Sears Olive Garden, Dave and Buster s, and Red Lobster. How can I find out how many earnpower points I have earned? Clicking on the "more details" link in the Wallet section of your Genuine GM Rewards earnpower home page will take you to a detailed earnings report. What do my earnpower points equate to in terms of dollars? 1 point = $1 US in purchasing power. So when you view your balance on your earnpower web page, the balance shown is exactly the amount you have to spend. To get your exclusively yours card balance you can: Go to Call How do I transfer points from my earnpower account to the exclusively yours card? From your Genuine GM Rewards earnpower home page, click on the SHOP button in your Wallet. There will be a menu option for Transfer to EY Card. Choose that option and the screens that follow will step you through the process. o If you do make a transfer, allow 7-10 business days if you are getting a card for the first time and 3 business days for transfers to your existing card. o Note: Once you transfer points to your exclusively yours card, you will NOT be able to transfer them back to your earnpower account. Who will be responsible for the taxes on reward earnings? Any and all tax liabilities for rewards under the program are the responsibility of the individual who receives the rewards. Consult your accountant for tax advice. GM will comply with any applicable tax reporting requirements based on IRS and local and state guidelines.

3 exclusively yours card Questions How do I use the exclusively yours card? Review the Cardholder Agreement that came with the card. Sign the signature panel on the back of the card. Record the card number and the Customer Service number on the back of the card. You will need this information if the card is lost or stolen. The card is valid at select merchants where Discover cards are accepted in the U.S. Terms and conditions apply. At the point of sale, present the card and select Discover as the form of payment. If given an option, select Credit, not Debit. The card works just like a credit card, with the transaction value deducted as purchases are made. If your purchase is less than the current value of the card, you may use the card again until the remaining value is depleted. If your purchase is more than the current value of the card, please see What if my purchase exceeds the card s value? Is the exclusively yours card a credit card? No. It is a prepaid card containing a specific value. You may only spend the value available on the card. Can I use the exclusively yours card at ATMs? No. Will I receive a monthly statement as with a credit card? No. For your convenience, a transaction summary may be viewed at Where can I find a summary of my exclusively yours card transactions? For your convenience, a transaction summary is available on this or you may obtain information on your last five transactions by calling the automated service at Is the card website secure? Yes. Information submitted through is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which encrypts or scrambles information submitted online. What if my purchase exceeds the card s value? If the merchant allows multiple forms of payment, use your personal form of payment first (cash, check, credit card) and the exclusively yours card last. Do not process the card for more than its available value.

4 Why should I know the value before I use my exclusively yours card? Knowing the value enables you to avoid having your transaction declined by ensuring you have enough available value to cover your transaction. How do I check the card value? Simply enter the card number in the fields provided on or call the Customer Service number located on the back of the card. If I do not agree with the card value online, how do I reconcile? Please contact Customer Service at the number found on the back of the card. When buying online or if the merchant asks for my CID (Card Identification Code), where can I find this code? The three-digit CID number is located on the back of the card. Can merchants advise me of the card value? The remaining card value may be shown on your receipt after using the card at some merchants; however, point of sale technology determines this functionality and is ultimately controlled by the merchants. If I use my exclusively yours card to make a purchase and want to return or cancel my purchase, will the value return to the card? In most cases the value will return to the card; however, returns and cancellations are ultimately decided by the merchant from where the purchase was made, and the card valid thru date must not have passed. What should I do if my exclusively yours card is lost or stolen? Report the loss immediately by calling Customer Service at , or outside the U.S. You must have the card number available for the Customer Service representative. A new card will be sent to you with the remaining value at the time you call Customer Service. The replacement card must be requested 15 days prior to the valid thru date. The first replacement is free, although there is a fee for each additional replacement. Replacement cards typically arrive within seven to 10 business days via first-class mail. What should I do if I encounter a problem at the point of sale? Ask the merchant to call Customer Service at the number on the back of the card for assistance.

5 Can I get text messaging? Yes. You may opt in when you activate your card. You may also change your preferences by visiting Charges from your phone carrier may apply. Can I get notifications? Yes. You may opt in when you activate your card to receive notifications. What type of information can I receive via texts and ? You can receive available balance and transaction alerts, including purchases and loads. What is a reloadable card? A reloadable card can have value added to it at the discretion of your sponsoring company throughout the life of the card. Card value is not indicated on the front of the card, since it may fluctuate; however, you may access the card value via or by calling the Customer Service number located on the back of the card. How do I use my exclusively yours card for hotels and car rentals? Companies associated with travel services may automatically factor in an additional 20 percent to cover incidental charges you may incur. You should ensure that your card has an available balance 20 percent greater than your total bill. We recommend you always use a personal credit card when making hotel or car rental reservations, and then present your exclusively yours card when paying the bill at the completion of your hotel stay or car rental. How can I use my exclusively yours card at restaurants and dining establishments? Before presenting the card for payment, make sure the available value will cover the bill plus an additional 20 percent. Otherwise, ask the merchant to process the card for a lesser amount, and use an additional form of payment (cash, check, credit card) for the balance. Can I use my exclusively yours card for online purchases? Yes. You may use your exclusively yours card at online merchants that welcome Discover cards. Be sure to select Discover as the form of payment, and choose Credit instead of Debit if given the option. Prior to shopping online, know the card value to ensure you have sufficient value to cover the purchase. If your online purchase exceeds the card s value, contact the merchant s customer service department and ask if they accept additional forms of payment. If you experience any difficulty when ordering online, contact the merchant s customer service number. If the online merchant is unable to assist you, contact the Customer Service number on the back of the card. What should I do if I am not satisfied with my online purchase? You should contact the customer service department of the online merchant directly. Shops installing parts on a consumer s vehicle for insurance claims only, such as: Independent Service Centers Independent Body Shops Fleet Repair Facilities Service Retailers GM and Non-GM Dealerships Who is NOT eligible? Resellers and Manufacturers, as well as all Government entities are not eligible for this program. What collision parts are eligible? Shops that install program parts on a consumer or work vehicle and are mapped to their GM Dealer are eligible to participate in the program. Examples of eligible customers include Fleet Repair Facilities, Independent Service Centers (includes franchised locations), Service Retailers (e.g. PEP Boys), Independent Body Shops, and Transmission and Engine Repair Specialists. Who is not eligible? Any GM or other OEM dealership, any manufacturer purchasing parts to build other engines or transmissions (E.g. Jasper, SRC, AER, Edelbrock, etc.), any company that redistributes parts (E.g. Transtar, JEGS, Summit, etc..), any municipality or other government entity. How do I sign up for the Genuine GM Rewards Program? Contact any participating GM dealer to obtain a Genuine GM Rewards enrollment certificate. Then follow the instructions on the certificate to self-register on the Genuine GM Rewards earnpower website earnpower site. If I complete my enrollment in the middle of the month, when am I eligible for payment? Payments will begin the month your earnpower ID is created and will include the entire month (prior months sales excluded).

10 Certificate Redemption Page: Enter your Genuine GM Rewards certificate number and click Redeem. Genuine GM Rewards / earnpower Welcome Screen: If you are new to earnpower, click Enroll Now. If you are an ACDELCO PSC and already have an ID, you can use your existing User ID and Password to log in to Genuine GM Rewards.

11 Section 1: Company Type Select the appropriate Company Type Section 2: Name & Address Enter your name and home address. (Your business information will be entered later, in Section 5.)

12 Section 3: Password Create a password. Section 4: Enter your address.

13 Section 5: Company Click Find Company to use the Company Finder. The Company Finder will help identify your company in our database. Company Finder: Enter your company information and click Select. If your company is not found in the system, click Add and the screen will allow you to enter your company information.

14 Genuine GM Rewards Home Page When you make it to this screen, your registration is almost complete. Click on Powertrain Rewards in the center section of the page.

15 Account Number Entry Page Be sure to enter ALL Account Numbers provided on your mapping certificate or you will not receive all of your rewards.
