2 10 TH HEALTH SERVICES & POLICY RESEARCH CONFERENCE 1-3 NOVEMBER 2017, SURFERS PARADISE MARRIOTT, AUSTRALIA INVITATION For over 15 years, HSRAANZ has facilitated communication across researchers, and between researchers and policymakers. Every two years, we advance this conversation with the Health Services and Policy Research Conference. Recognised as the preeminent health services research event in Australasia, the conference provides health services researchers, including clinicians, with a single national opportunity to share their research, and to build capacity by strengthening collaborations across health sectors. In 2017, we hold our 10th Health Services and Policy Research Conference, November 1-3, at the Surfers Paradise Marriott. The Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI) are hosting the event. The theme, Shifting priorities: balancing acute and primary care services focuses on current and future priorities for resources in acute and primary care as we work towards a sustainable, future-ready, patient focused healthcare system. This theme is highly relevant to the current priorities of Queensland Health and we are excited about engaging a range of stakeholders for the event. We will attract several hundred delegates to a programme of peer-reviewed symposia and abstract sessions, plenaries featuring local and international speakers, early career researcher activities and workshops on indigenous health and specialist topics. A Shark Tank session will close our conference, as health service innovators pitch an idea to decision makers from within the public health sector. Breakfast Session Sponsor is welcome to add promotional signage. Sponsors are responsible for the cost of catering, any travel, accommodation and associated expenses for all speakers or chairpersons participating in the sponsored session. Please note Speaker and topic must be approved by the HSRAANZ 2017 Organising Committee. Topics as well as content must not imply that the HSRAANZ endorses the product, service, company or role. Sponsor is advised to carefully select their topics as attendance to each breakfast session is open to all registered (full and day) conference delegates. HSRAANZ does not take responsibility for and does not have the authority to exclude any registered (full and day) conference delegate which the sponsor may deem topic sensitive to attend any breakfast session. Attendance by delegates to the breakfast session are based on a first in basis and will be managed through the online registration process. Sponsor cannot target market their hosted breakfast session and will not be given access to the full HSRAANZ delegate list prior to the event. 11

14 AND EXHIBITOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS Sponsor agreement Completion of the sponsor agreement form does not confirm acceptance of offer. HSRAANZ reserves the right to determine which applications are accepted. All sponsorships will be confirmed in writing by Iceberg Events. Payment 50% of total sponsorship amount required on booking. Remainder is required by 30 June 2017 (special arrangements can be made). All payments must be received by the due date. Failure to comply with payment terms may result in the sponsor not receiving full benefits as outlined in the package. All sponsors benefits are conditional on receiving payment, and receiving artwork, goods etcetera in a timely manner and are subject to meeting publication deadlines. Should a sponsorship benefit precede payment that benefit will no longer be available to the sponsor. Cancellation Notification of cancellation must be submitted in writing prior to 30 June 2017 (50% of total sponsorship will apply as a cancellation fee). Cancellations made after 30 June 2017 will receive no refund. The sponsor and/or trade display exhibitor shall not be entitled to any refund in the event of cancellation of the sponsorship because of industrial action, blackouts or any cause outside the control of the Conference Organisers. The final trade exhibition floor plan may vary resulting in trade display position changes from the original floor plan due to updated trade floor plans. Trade display exhibitors Must have current public liability insurance cover for their trade display. Are wholly responsible for the security and safekeeping of items and staff at their trade displays. Will be responsible for any damage to the walls or the floor of the building occupied by the trade display. Will be responsible for any loss or damage to the trade display, partitions, electrical fittings, and lights provided for the exhibitor. The offering and distribution of promotional materials may only take place within the immediate vicinity of trade displays, except where expressly permitted. Participation is entirely at the trade display exhibitors risk. The exhibitor guarantees the Conference Organiser against all claims by third parties in consequence of damage caused by the exhibitor during the exhibition. Conference Organisers May postpone or amend the time the exhibition will be held to a more suitable time. Shall not be held liable for any losses, damage, or injuries caused except in cases of demonstrated negligence. Trade display allocation All trade display spaces will be allocated by level of investment and then on a first come, first served basis. HSRAANZ has the exclusive right to allocate trade display space available to the exhibitor and may alter the trade display, should it prove necessary. The exhibitor s wishes will be considered as far as possible. 14
