1 Here is a simple way to find out if articles from a certain journal are available in any of our databases or do search directly in an electronic journal title. It is especially useful if you are working from a citation. To Begin: Select A-Z of Online Journal Titles from any of the Find by Resource or Find by Subject pages in the online library available exclusively from your student portal. 1

2 To locate an electronic journal in the collection for browsing, follow the instructions as follows. If you know the journal title, you may search by typing in the Title: box and selecting Starts with. If you are unsure of the exact title, or just want to see what we have with certain keywords in the journal title, select Contains.

3 Here are the search results. Once you find a journal you like, click on the database name to be taken into the native database to browse that publication. Dates for which full-text is available. Databases in which the journal is available. Click one of the database names to enter the electronic journal.

4 Two options for viewing articles in this publication exist here. 1) Search for the article title within the publication using the Search within this publication tool. ) Select the year of publication in the Browse specific issues feature.

5 Option 1 Search within this publication. Results from this option display exactly as any regular search in the native database. Enter your search terms in the Search within this publication field to retrieve only results from this specific publication. You may also use the Advanced Search to conduct your search within this specific publication.

6 Option Browse specific issues. Results from this option display exactly as any regular search in the native database. All the issues published of this journal included in the database are listed by year. Click on one entry to retrieve all articles published in that specific issue. Results appear as they do with any regular search in the database.

7 If you are looking for a specific article, follow the instructions as follows. Volume = 5 Number = 4 Year = Apr 007 Pages = ISSN# = X Type the journal title in the Title: box. Tip: Use the journal title (not the article title) for your search.

Click on the title of the database to go directly to that database to retrieve your article.
