1 To whom it may concern, Your School has decided to use Quicket to handle the online ticketing for some of their events. What this means is that you will be able to book your tickets safely and securely online with a few clicks of a button. You will be able to choose from the following payment methods: 1. Credit / Debit cards (Mastercard, VISA and American Express) 2. Traditional EFT 3. Instant EFT 4. Cash / Bank deposit 5. Snapscan You do not have to register a Quicket account and your tickets will be ed directly to you. You can then either print them out or you can even simply keep them on your smartphone and display them on screen on the day of the event. What is Quicket? Quicket is the third largest ticketing company in South Africa and we run over events every month. It s just like Computicket or Webtickets except we specialise in ticketing for smaller events and schools specifically. Anyone can load and run events on Quicket. Our system uses Peach Payments transaction platform is PCI DSS Level 1 certified which is the highest level of data protection globally. This means it is 100% safe to use for online transactions and your details are exceptionally secure. How to book tickets on Quicket Booking tickets on Quicket is easier than any other online ticketing platform in South Africa because you do not to register or login. Quicket works equally well on both a desktop computer and a mobile phone. This is how it will work: 1. Open your internet browser (Google Chrome / Internet Explorer / Edge / Firefox) 2. In the address bar type in: 3. You can also just google Quicket 4. Once has loaded. Simply search for the name of the event you wish to go to 1

2 5. Click on the name of the event and the event page will load. 6. Once the page is loaded either select the amount of tickets you want or if it has a seating plan, select where you would like to sit and then click ORDER NOW! 2

3 7. On the next page you will be shown your tickets order and the total owed. 8. Please select your preferred payment method: 3

4 You can pay by: Credit / debit card Visa, Mastercard or American Express EFT, Bank Deposit or Instant EFT Snapscan or Mobicred 9. Fill in your ticket owner details and press the Complete Order button. 4

5 10. If you ordered by credit / debit card a widow from your own bank will pop up. You will be sent a One Time Pin to your mobile number that you will need to input in order to confirm the transaction. This system is called 3D Secure and is required by law to finish an internet transaction. This pin is not sent by Quicket and is handled entirely by your own bank and their systems. It is there to protect you from online fraud and ensures that only the card holder can use the card. Please input your pin. Once verified by your bank you will be taken back to Quicket and your transaction will be complete. 11. Your ticket will then be ed directly to your inbox. It normally arrives in under two minutes. 5

6 12. As stated in the , either print out the attached PDF with your tickets. Here is an example: 13. The other option is to simply show the on your phone on the day of the event. The school will scan the barcode on the ticket to check validity. We encourage you to think about the environment before printing your tickets as they get thrown away after check-in. 14. After your first purchase we create an account for you that you can use in future. All your purchases and tickets will be available to you in your account. The school will most likely send you a direct link to the event page on Quicket via D6 Communicator. You simply need to click it and book. Please also remember to invite any relevant friends and family to help make the school events a success. Please note that we are able to assist you telephonically or via in the event you need assistance buying tickets. We advise you to call us and not the school as we have very friendly and helpful staff who are ready to assist you in any way needed to make your Quicket purchases as easy as possible. 6
