2 Who Are We? Pecatonica River Popcorn is located in Southwest Wisconsin. We have been making quality popcorn with an attention to detail since O h h k d i h b f S C il hil ll h hil Over the years we have worked with a number of Boy Scout Councils while all the while specializing each sale to capitalize on each Councils strengths and assets. This includes everything from specific container designs, to unique products and specialized forms.

10 Plan Online Sales Online selling allows Scouts to sell to faraway friends and family. 70% of every purchase goes to the Scout s unit and council in his name. Why sell online? No deliveries! Pecatonica River ships the product directly to the consumer. s sent out each time an order ships so that the unit leader and the Scout can track sales. It s easy! Scouts register to sell with their unit leader. All online sales starting Sept. 15 through your council s sale end date are used to determine your prize level. Customer able to choose 1, 2 or 3 flavors from 12 to fill their tin. Also have the ability to buy Military Donations from $10-$100.

11 Plan Help Us Help You Your participation in the Fall Popcorn sale helps to fund camp scholarships for eligible Scouts.

12 Plan - Setting The Goal Units that set sales goals sell twice as much as units without goals. Only 44% of parents said their son set a goal. Scouts who set goals average $626 in sales. Scouts with no goal average $304 in sales. Units that have money do more activities and have higher h retention ti of fscouts.

14 Plan Commission (w/prizes) Unit Commissions starting at 27% up to 29 % Units choosing to opt into the prize program for Scout participants will receive a minimum of 27% commission. If the unit chooses the prize program and meets all of the criteria set forth by the Council leadership the unit may qualify for 29% commission. 15 Plan Commission (w/o Prizes) Unit Commissions starting at 32% up to 34 % Units choosing to opt out of the prize program for Scout participants will receive a minimum of 32% commission. If the unit meets all of the criteria set forth by the Council leadership the unit may qualify for 34% commission. All forms due to the Council before 3:00pm to qualify. October 19: 3 rd Fill It up Drawing for Apple ipad. All forms due to the Council before 3:00pm to qualify. October 21: Last day of the Gateway Area Council Popcorn Sale October 25: On or before Oct. 25 th all Take Order Popcorn orders along with Top Salesman & Unit Worksheet Tools are due to the Council by 3:00pm* (requirement). All money from Show-N-Sell is due to the Council or any unsold product must be returned to the Council* (requirement) by 3:00pm. 18 Organize Tasting Kits -How to Conduct a Tasting Session- Caramel (Silver) So Rich and Buttery it will melt in your mouth. Once everyone has tasted each flavor, have the boys vote on which popcorn they liked best! Tally the votes and determine which flavors were everyone s favorites. Have fun with it! -Why Tasting Sessions are going to help rocket our sales- By conducting a tasting session for your group you create product familiarity and product knowledge. Now each scout can use the tasting results as a selling tool! For example, when the boys are at someone s door selling and the buyer says I don t know what to get the boy can say My pack did a taste testing session and we decided that Caramel was the best, but I like Mud Puddles so you should buy them both!

25 How to Select your Prizes If participating in the prize program: Sell any item and receive the Popcorn Sale Patch Sell $50 or more and receive a Popcorn Sale Patch AND any Level 2 Prize. Sell $100 or more and receive a Popcorn Sale Patch AND a prize from the level you achieve; or select a combination of prizes from lower levels, as long as the total prize value does not exceed the Total ldollars Sold.
