Synergy between Raccortubi and Salzgitter Mannesmann Both Raccortubi SpA and Salzgitter Mannesmann Stainless Tubes can boast years of experience within the steel industry. However, their varying areas of expertise allow them to combine their strengths in order to adapt to and satisfy market requirements. Salzgitter Mannesmann Stainless Tubes has a firm footing in the urea market and a proven history manufacturing quality pipes in specific materials. Raccortubi Group, meanwhile, is specialised in fulfilling customer demands for a range of products, from tubes and pipes to fittings and flanges, as well as other piping components. Raccortubi is able to both distribute and supply the necessary items for complex packages to tight schedules. The presence of its sister company Tecninox, a producer of butt weld fittings in material grades from stainless steel to titanium, provides Raccortubi with increased control over its supply, enabling it to serve its clients efficiently. Under the terms of the new accord, Raccortubi will stock a wide range of pipes and piping components within its distribution network, in the highly corrosion-resistant materials required for urea production. Salzgitter will consistently provide the Group with an increased variety of its piping based on scheduled stock replenishment, adding to the most commonly sought-after sizes of urea pipes. Furthermore, Raccortubi will use the available pipes as raw material in the manufacturing of fittings to fulfil customer needs on demand. This will mean that the specific products used in urea production, traditionally hard to come by, will be available in significant quantities, and to customer specifications, in stock upon request or with short lead times.
