2 Letter from Frank Walter, President Westway Machinery The year 2012 is a special one for Westway Machinery as we proudly celebrate our 40th anniversary. Westway Machinery began serving the Metal manufacturing industry across Canada in 1972, the same year Paul Henderson scored that goal we ll never forget! Over the last twenty years we have focused on the Metal Forming manufacturing industries. The challenges have been many, including the high double digit interest rates of the early 80 s, recessions, stock market crashes, large exchange rate fluctuations, and most recently the North American banking meltdown in As they say what doesn t kill you will make you stronger!!. We have not only survived these challenges, but we have thrived and are now stronger than ever. Our founder, Rudy Walter established the Westway core values that still endure today.
