2 Important Information SAFETY All persons who enter an auction site do so AT THEIR OWN RISK. If CHILDREN are in attendance with any person/s they must be under STRICT SUPERVISION at all times. 1. Buyers Registration Before bidding please obtain a Numbered Bidders Card from Auction Office. Please complete all details, including: Personal Name; Business Name [if applicable]; Address; Telephone Number; and Address. You are required to Sign your Name on the bottom of the bidders card as acceptance of the terms and conditions of the auction. 2. Buyers Premium A Buyers Premium of 11% is payable on the hammer price [GST is included in the premium]. 3. GST Status Lots indicated with the symbol * are sold inclusive of GST in the hammer price. Lots indicated with the symbol! are sold exclusive of GST and added on the hammer price. 4. Payment We require settlement of purchases on the day of the sale. If you have purchased on a written bid we ask you arrange immediate settlement upon advice of your purchase. 4.1 Payment by Cash Either during or at the end of the sale enables collection of lots purchased [that is: a) if it is safe to so; b) if there are sufficient staff to check your items; and/or c) if it does not interfere with the running of the auction]. 4.2 Payment by Cheque Authorisation by the Senior Auctioneer s signature on your personal Bidders Card is required before Office Staff can accept your cheque. Please present personal photo identification with a visible signature, for example, Drivers Licence. Office personnel will note the Licence Number on the back of the cheque and check your signature matches your presented identification. 4.3 Payment by Credit & Debit Card Either during or at the end of the sale enables collection of lots purchased [that is: a) if it is safe to so; b) if there are sufficient staff to check your items; and/or c) if it does not interfere with the running of the auction]. Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted subject to 1.5% surcharge. Please be aware of your withdrawal limit, to save personal embarrassment and to ensure the smooth and expedient processing of invoice payments. 4.4 Online Bank Transfers At the auction via TVA Ipad or by arrangement for larger transactions [NB: you must obtain written authorisation from the Senior Auctioneer]. 5. Ways of Bidding 5.1 In Person

3 If you are attending the sale then you can bid in person. Ensure that you have the attention of the auctioneer during bidding and upon purchasing, either show or advise the Auctioneer of your Bidder Number. 5.2 By Written Bid If you cannot attend the sale then please complete a written bid form indicating the price you wish to bid up to [Remember to factor in the Buyers Premium which is added on the hammer price]. The Auctioneer will faithfully execute your commission bid, starting the bidding at a low level and using your written bid against other bids and any reserve price that might apply, to acquire the lot on your behalf at as low a level that other interest allows. Written bids must be received no later than 5.00pm on the day before auction [pending staff availability, otherwise by 5.00pm the day before the sale viewing day]. If you are successful with your written bid we will telephone you with details of your purchase at the end of the sale. Where we cannot make contact with you, we will invoice you A.S.A.P. You are asked to make immediate settlement and early collection of your purchases. 6. Condition of Items We strongly recommend your personal viewing of each item. If purchase is subsequently effected viewed or not viewed full liability as to the price, condition, authenticity and suitability is that of the purchaser [Please refer to Conditions of Sale ]. 7. Catalogue Description The Auctioneers undertake that reasonable care has been taken to produce catalogue descriptions that are accurate and reliable but these are necessarily matters of opinion only and not to be taken as a statement of fact. Prospective buyers must satisfy themselves on the condition and accuracy of the description of each lot prior to bidding and to act upon their own judgment. 8. Electrical Items Electrical items are sold untested, without warranty or any guarantee as to serviceability or working order. It is the purchaser s responsibility to have all electrical items tested by a qualified electrician before use 9. Handling and Selling of Items PLEASE NOTE: Once lots have been auctioned, no person is to handle the items until payment is made in full to TVA office personnel. When taking the goods you have purchased and paid for in full, you must present your invoice with your items to TVA personnel to have each lot signed off. Under no circumstances can you on-sell items to another bidder at the auction. 9.1 Collection of Items Please collect your items in a timely manner and within the time frame specified by the auctioneers at the preliminary announcements. As the purchaser, you are solely responsible for the removal of those items in a safe manner. If you fail to collect your items within one week of the auction date, you may be required to pay storage fees or forfeit your goods. 10.
