6 I m a New Distributor Now What? Now that you have met with your Sponsor and officially signed up, it s time to start your incredible adventure! This is your BIBLE. Study it. Learn it. Take it everywhere you go. Make notes. Follow this guide, and you will have all the tools you need to become a success in only 90 days. Let s get started!! ü Write Down & Save Distributor Number & Password After you register as a Distributor, you will be given your Distributor ID. This is a 6-digit number that is unique to you. You will use this number to log in to your SeneGence back office, Distributor ID: Password: place orders, and track your progress. Write down and save this number as well as your password. ü Log in to SeneGence.com Log in to SeneGence.com and familiarize yourself with your back office Go to SeneGence.com Click Distributor Login in the top right corner Enter your Distributor ID and Password For now just make sure you are able to log in to the website with your Distributor ID and password. We will do a thorough training on your back office and how to use it at a later time. ü Make A Big Announcement This is a life-changing and incredibly exciting business venture that you have just started!! Shout it from the rooftops!! Post, text, brag, talk, message, make phone calls, whatever you are comfortable with. But SHARE!!! Right now, your goal is not to sell product, book parties, or sign anyone up right away. For now, just INFORM everyone that you are a SeneGence Distributor and that you are excited about this incredible opportunity. Your friends and family love you and want to support you in what you are doing. WORD OF CAUTION: Not everyone has the foresight and drive that you do. Many will mock SeneGence or direct sales companies in general. You will be told that you can t make money doing this. You will hear people tell you that it won t work or you don t have what it takes. Let this fuel your ambition to prove all the haters and pessimists wrong!! I have personally seen friends and family grow rich beyond their wildest dreams doing exactly what you are about to do. It does NOT work for everyone, because most people quit when it gets hard. Be consistent, be patient, work hard, and make this incredible dream a reality! 6

7 ü Create a Wish List Make a list of everyone you can think of that could possibly help your business grow. Include anyone that could potentially be a Customer, Distributor, Party or Demo Hostesses, or even friends that would let you practice doing their make-up or practice explaining the process. Remember, no does not mean no No means not right now I have countless Distributors on my team, and loyal Customers that initially insisted that the product and opportunity was not for them. I simply said, Okay! But when you change your mind, come to me first. I never said another word Don t misunderstand I casually mention how much a fun a recent party was, or how it s nice to not have to worry bout money for once, but I didn t push the issue. And one by one, more than half of the people who walked away have come back to purchase product or sign up as Distributors. It will happen. Be consistent. Be patient. This is a marathon, not a sprint! Be consistent, be patient, success will follow If you don t believe me, take it from international heartthrob, motivational icon, inspirational in so many friggin ways the one and only, Dwayne The Rock Johnson! Use this sheet on the next page to write down everyone that you can think of that may possibly be interested in SeneGence in any capacity at any time. Keep track of how many times you reach out to them by crossing off a number. Once they sign up or purchase, circle the attempt number! Your wish list doesn t have to be people that are interested right now. They don t even have to be make-up wearers! Just make the list. Most people don t purchase a product until after the fifth time they hear about it. Statistically, most will not sign up until after they have tried the product and/or heard about the company over thirteen times. Just for fun, track how many times you have mentioned anything SeneGence-related to them. Here is an example below. 7

9 ü Set Goals & Write Them Down Before we can create a plan to meet your goals, you need to determine what your goals are! There are no wrong answers here, ladies! Don t over commit, and don t sell yourself short. Truly evaluate what level of success you want, and then see if you can make the time commitment to achieve that goal. This will take some time, but it is absolutely crucial. Spend the time necessary on setting goals and a plan of action for accomplishing them, and there is no limit to what you will accomplish!! Step 1: Confidence Breeds Success Everyone admires and respects a person with absolute confidence. We want to be around them, we want to be like them, we want to do what they are doing and go where they are going. Be confident in everything, including the incredible new product you are promoting! I know what you re thinking easier said than done. I get it!! We are our own worst critics, and it is often challenging to feel confident when we are so keenly aware of every flaw. So how do you come across as proud and confident when you don t feel that way inside? ACT AS IF. We are all a product of our actions, and our actions are up to us. ACT AS IF you were a confident person. Picture someone you are familiar with who is overflowing with confidence and looked up to by his or her peers. Now mimic his or her behaviors. How do they carry themselves? How do they walk? How do they approach people? What makes them so admirable? Be honest, be vulnerable, be kind, be charming, and be yourself!! This will not create a fake or fraudulent you it will create the absolute best you that you can be. We all have at least a little confidence somewhere inside of us. Portraying that every day with every interaction makes that little part of us grow and grow until it becomes a huge part of who we are. Write down 5 things that are amazing about you. Things that you are proud of, things you have accomplished, features about yourself you like, talents you have, etc. Hopefully you can think of a lot more than 5, but if you are struggling, as a good friend or family member to help. Write those down and applaud yourself for being awesome!! I am fabulous because:

10 Step 2: What Do You Want & What s The Reason? Knowing exactly what you want and why you want it is necessary, and it is urgent. Expecting results without clear direction is like driving a car blindfolded and expecting to arrive to a destination that doesn t exist. Not only will you never get there, but also the process is frustrating and seems pointless! Use your imagination for a minute and daydream. Dream big with no limitations, no restrictions, and nothing holding you back. Now imagine yourself in 20 years, and you have been living your dream life for two decades. What does it look like? What does it feel like? Who and what are you surrounded by? What is your legacy? What have you experienced? How much have you grown? What have you contributed to your family, society, and the world? Picture exactly what your life looks like!! Seriously do it! No really stop reading this, close your eyes for 5 minutes and just imagine this FOR REAL!! Example: I am living on an island with my family, who are all healthy and happy. We have a huge house on the beach and I can hear the waves from my bedroom window. There is no worry about money or work, and I feel at peace and calm. I am reading books and playing games and laughing on the patio as the sun sets over the ocean. And blah, blah, blah, you get it basically a Hallmark commercial, but you re actually IN the commercial you get it What did that feel like? I am assuming that you felt peaceful, excited, happy, calm, content, satisfied and fulfilled. Whatever specific things you felt, hold on to them!! When business gets hard and life gets busy, remember this feeling and remember THE REASON you are working so hard. That vision, and that feeling can become a reality if you work NOW to make it happen. Let this feeling carry you through every doubt, every no, every fear, and every worry. No one in the world has ever succeeded without experiencing fear or doubt but the difference between the accomplished few and the many mediocre is the ability to turn stumbling blocks in to stepping-stones and KEEP GOING. When things get tough, close your eyes and feel your REASON and do not quit no matter what! Now what are 3 things that you would like to happen in the next year? Buy a house? Pay off debt? Buy a new car? Become a Crown Princess? Win a free trip from SeneGence? Go on a family cruise? Set 3 realistic, measurable goals that you would like to happen in your life in the next one year. I strongly recommend setting one of your goals to be qualifying for the LIPS Trip. If you meet the requirements for the LIPS trip, all your other financial goals, royalty ranking goals, etc, will come naturally. Goals I Will Accomplish In The Next Year:

11 Step 3: 90-Day Focus Goals, One Week At A Time Right now, the purposes for your 1-year goals are so that we can really dial in your 90-day goals. Your 90- day goals are your only focus. You will not attain your 1-year goal without smaller goals in shorter time periods. Below you will find a general list of recommended weekly goals. Please add any goals you d like, or that will help you attain your one-year goals. Remember that every goal must be measurable and attainable! 12 ü Order Business Cards --Why? You will be asked about your smudge proof lips, and approached about your WOW stripes several times a day. Business cards will not only provide potential customers and distributors with your contact information, but it will show that you are a respected professional operating a serious business. --How? There are several websites and companies that can print professional business cards in a matter of a few days. VistaPrint.com is among the lowest in cost that I have found, with 500 single-sided, full color business cards starting at $20. Use Promo Code VPBC500 to reduce the price to $ What? On your business cards, you should consider including: Your name & ALL contact information ( , phone number, and where applicable, social media links, website or SeneSite information.) I recommend putting (text/call) next to cell phone number. It will attract those who prefer text and increase your inquiries and responses. Under your name, you also must have the term SeneGence Independent Distributor (per SeneGence Policies & Procedures). I would also recommend giving a very brief explanation what you offer, and an option to contact you about the opportunity. Your business cards should reflect YOU! Always be genuine, this includes what you put on your business cards. ü Order Labels --Why? You need to brand yourself to your clients starting at day one. It is important that every product that you sell has your contact information for reorders, referrals, and potential new distributors. Putting your contact information on the product is the best way to ensure that you are remembered in between orders, and that re-orders will be placed through you. You will also put your label on beauty books that you pass out.. --How? 500labels.com will give you 500 labels for only $5.95. If you order your business cards from VistaPrint.com or another website, check their pricing on labels as well. Many websites will provide a discount for ordering multiple items. If you use VistaPrint.com, use Promo Code FIRSTORDER to get 20% off your first order. --What? Include your name and contact information for use for reorders & for anyone considering the opportunity. Like your business cards, these should reflect you. ***IMPORTANT: Do not place your contact information from far left to far right on the labels. When the label is wrapped around a LipSense tube, being wrapped around itself will cut off 25% of the label. Place your contact information in the center, or leave either side of the label blank or with information that can be covered. 12

13 ü Download App s for Trainings, Postings Video & Photos Creating eye catching word art and videos will help set you apart on social media postings and keep your customers engaged. There are hundreds of apps available. Here are a few favorites between distributors: 1. Word Swag 2. FlipaGram 3. Rhonna Designs 4. FaceTune 5. Pic Collage 6. imovie 7. Red Stamp 8. Viva Video 9. Ripl (this one isn t free, but worth it!) 10. QR Scanner (for easily viewing training and information documents and videos) ü Wear Your Stripes! Why? A daily stripe will keep up the hype!! This is the most important thing that you will do in your business. No, I am not kidding. This will get you countless conversations started and a lot of long-term customers, new distributors, and scheduled parties. In addition, and possibly more importantly, it is a daily reminder of the potential that you have. If you forget about LipSense in the morning, but you re wearing your WOW Stripes, I can almost guarantee that someone will remind YOU when they ask what those colors are on your hand. This will keep you motivated EVERY DAY!! When? Wear your Tiger Stripes every single day, no matter what! Anything you do, everywhere you go, you should ALWAYS wear the stripes. This is your badge of honor, your walking billboard, and usually your way in to a relaxed conversation and a new contact. How to apply? You should always have at least 3 different LipSense colors for personal use, and you should always carry them with you. Put 3 layers of a single color or combination of colors in a single strip on your wrist. Repeat this multiple times with different colors until you have at least four Tiger Stripes painted on your hand. We rub a little bit of glossy gloss over the top of all the stripes with our fingers so that will seal in the color stay power. What do I say? When someone asking what is on your hand approaches you, this is your response: Oh, I was trying to decide what color LipSense to put on this morning, so I swiped it on my wrist. Then start rubbing your stripes and say, But it doesn t come off so it will just have to be there until tomorrow!! Ha-ha, comment, chuckle, whatever This will almost always lead to the person asking an open-ended question about the product, the company, and the longevity of the color stay, or something similar that will open the door for conversation. You won t act as if you are making a sales pitch, and they won t be timid or uncomfortable, because they approached you! Then what? When you wash your face in the evening, remove the old stripes. When you get dressed the following day, make new stripes. Then do the same thing the next day. And the next. And the next. And the next you get it. 13

14 ü Open a bank account exclusively for SeneGence use Unless otherwise informed by a financial specialist, it is recommended that you go to your local Bank or Credit Union and open a bank account used only for this business. It doesn t necessarily need to be a business bank account, but it does need to be a separate account used just for SeneGence. This is the account that will be linked to your Square account, PayPal, Venmo, and any other payment processors that you decide to use. This does not necessarily have to be a business bank account, but does need to be separate from your personal bank account that you use for other things. All your credit card income from retail sales will automatically be deposited in to this new bank account. You should also deposit all checks and cash from sales in to this account as well. Also get a debit card for this account, and place all future orders and business expenses on that debit card. Then your business is 100% debt free & self-funded, typically by the very first month! ***Consult your accountant or financial advisor before making any financial decisions in your business ***You may want to register your business and set up a Federal Tax ID and/or State TIN (Tax ID Number). Most businesses with this structure are set up as an LLC, or Limited Liability Corporation. This is a legal business entity, but protects you from personal liability in the event of a problem, business related accident, or lawsuit. An LLC is the most secure, and safest way to set up a new company. To register your business name & set up a Federal Tax ID follow this link goo.gl/w5x8pe. Having a registered business can help you get a business bank account, register websites, or get other business-related products or services at the discount rate for businesses. Keep in mind: if you plan to get a SeneSite or purchase a website, you might want to search for name availability before registering your formal business name with the State or Federal Department. ***Consult your accountant or financial advisor before structuring any company or account that is business-related ü Setup Professional Voic The phone number that you provide to your customers, your Distributors, and that you put on your business cards should have a voic that is professional. You don t necessarily have to include your business information, but the voic should be professional. ü Sign up for FollowUpLeader.com Follow up is the absolute, number one, most important aspect of your business. 15 Product Ordering Tips & Tricks *** PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR PV ACCRUAL & DISCOUNT RATE!! *** ü Understand PV Accrual & Discount Rate Below are a few tips and tricks to help you get the most for your money build a supply of samples, and stock product effectively with maximum profitability. There are also valuable tips to help you understand what PV is, how to accrue it, and how much is required to ensure that you are eligible for prizes, trips, retail sales income, and downline commission. PV ACCRUAL What is PV? PV stands for Point Value. Points are accrued and tracked instead of dollars. Since SeneGence is distributed in many different countries with different currencies, tracking PV is the only consistent way to equally track sales of each Distributor from country to county. One PV is equivalent to two US dollars. For the PV equivalent in a different Country, log in to your back office and check the PV to currency ratio. 1 PV $2 retail How is my PV calculated? Your point value (PV) is very important because it is what your commission eligibility and payout is based on. PV is accrued based on the retail value of your orders, NOT the amount that you pay after your discount. Every order that you personally place when you are logged in to SeneGence.com or any orders that are placed in your CDO or SeneSite will also be credited to your PV. If you are calculating your PV while placing an order, the simplest way to calculate it to divide the retail value of your order, before taxes & shipping, by 2. No matter what your discount rate is, or what you actually pay, your PV credit will always equal exactly half of the product retail value. Example 1: $600 retail = 300PV - $600 retail value, 40% discount, Distributor cost $360 Example 2: $200 retail = 100PV - $200 retail value, 30% discount, Distributor cost $140 Example 3: $1,500 retail = 750PV - $1,500 retail value, 50% discount, Dist. cost $750 Where can I see my PV? To find your PV as well as your dollar amount spent, follow these steps: 1. Log in to SeneGence.com 15

16 2. Select Business from the top of the screen, then select Downline from the dropdown menu. 3. This will take you to your Distributor Dashboard where you can see all your personal activity and downline activity for the month and year 4. Once you are in your Distributor Dashboard, select Account Detail from the menu on the left 5. Select Calendar year to see the totals from Jan-Dec, or select Seminar Year to see the totals from April-March 6. View individual totals from each month, and the added total for the calendar or seminar year DISCOUNT RATE What is my discount? Both new & old distributors will receive an automatic 50% off an order of any size once they've hit 750PV in a calendar month!! DO THE MATH BEFORE YOU BUY!! Sometimes you will pay the same amount for MORE product, depending on what your discount rate is. (see examples below) Ongoing Distributor Product Discount 1 99 PV ($2-$198) = 20% Discount PV ($200-$598) = 30% Discount PV ($600-$1,498) = 40% Discount 750 PV + ($1,500+) = 50% Discount Keep it simple: Orders should be at or just slightly above the below order amounts to maximize your savings and increase your profit margin: $200 $600 $1,500 ü Place your first product order What should I order? This will obviously depend on the amount that you are able to invest in to your new business. Eventually you will want to have a full set of samples that customers and potential Distributors can try. If you are not able to do that right away, borrow samples from your upline, or order some of the most popular colors to start, and grow your samples and stock from there. ***IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED to purchase the sample packages recommended by SeneGence.com. You do not get PV points for these purchases, which means you will not get the 16

17 PV credit, and you will not get the discount rate for anything else that you purchase that month. It is recommended that you place individual product orders to keep as samples in the initial order amount of $600+ (since you will be at a 50% discount rate, the $600 in product will only cost you $300 plus taxes and shipping). To start, see the below recommended order. Get what you can, when you can. Order a few LipSense Colors from each group below. That way you will have something for all customer skin tones. Because LipSense is the most popular and best selling product, you should try to get as many of the LipSense colors and glosses as you can as soon as possible. Below are the ideal items to have for samples: What you need Several colors from the LipSense warm tones and several from the LipSense cool tones, and at least one from the neutral tones. (see below color chart, some of the best sellers are starred. Colors change regularly, so please log on to SeneGence.com to review the latest colors) At least one Glossy Gloss Oooops! Remover What you should have eventually ***Ideally you would have one sample of everything, but that could take some time, and is not necessary in order to build a customer base and a team of Distributors. Below are the recommended products that Customers love and become loyal to, and products that will keep your Customers coming back month after month. One of every LipSense Color Glossy Gloss, Matte Gloss, at least one of the Glitter Glosses, and at least one of the colored Glosses (Rose, Orchid, or Bougainvillea) One LinerSense Eyeliner (Any color. Most women know what color liner they want. If they like the product and stay power, ordering their color is simple) One LashSense with UnderSense (Any color. Customer can choose a color and select to order with or without the UnderSense.) 17

18 Tinted Moisturizer (Ideally Medium, as it works with most skin tones. Very popular, and a best seller. It is hard to carry every color of foundation, but this is a one size fits most solution) Facial Resurfacer (Best selling product, and works with every skin tone and type. Facial Resurfacer has the wow factor when Customers use it at demos, parties, or events. They immediately feel the effects after use, which makes selling the product simple. This is also a gateway product that is what encourages most customers to use and fall in love with the skin care and anti-aging lines.) ü Become a LipSense Expert I am obsessed with the SeneGence skin care. From the chemistry to the quality to the absolute incredible results, the skin care is hands down my favorite product line. You should try every skin care and cosmetic product in order to form your own opinion. You ll have products that you are crazy in love with, and you will probably find some that you don t love totally fine!! But keep in mind that LipSense is the product foundation of your business. LipSense has the WOW factor that complete strangers will fall in love with, and it should be your leading pitch to every customer and every Distributor. It has been said that people start using SeneGence for the LipSense, and stay forever because of their skin care. Now that you recognize the importance of LipSense, MASTER THIS PRODUCT!!!! It is unique in its crazy long-lasting stay (up to 24 hours, in my experience whaaaaa?!?!??).
