1 36 TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE & EXPOSITION Javits Convention Center October 26 & DHI Expo EXHIBITOR ADVANTAGE Program Now that you have selected and paid for your booth space it s time to begin planning your booth design and logistics for transportation, installation, and dismantling. There are options to save money this year and you need to evaluate closely how you can experience these savings. DHI has negotiated a union work rule concession at the Javit s Center, as well as negotiated with GES EXPO a special Material Handling discount and booth rental package program with selected booth configurations offering significant savings from the typical price. The Javits Center Labor Rules typically allow bonafide Exhibitor employees to set up 10 x 10 booths within ½ hour and without using tools or ladders. We have negotiated with them to allow 10 x 20 booths to set up under the same conditions for our Show. For all other booth sizes Exhibitors may unpack/pack and arrange merchandise and products in their display, but will require union labor for display installation/dismantling. The Javits Center Material Handling Rules allow bonafide Exhibitor employees to hand carry items, use a two wheeled baggage cart, or wheel-in 10 pop-up displays through the front doors of the center. All other material must be handled as freight by union labor. For those exhibitors who will ship their display to New York City, GES will offer a 20% discount on your Material Handling costs, if you utilize GES Transportation Plus for both your inbound and outbound shipping transportation. This is a significant savings beyond the typical 10% discount normally offered and can save you considerably on your Shipping and Material Handling costs.

The EXHIBITOR ADVANTAGE Program includes a specially selected offering of 10 x 10, 10 x 20, and 20 x 20 displays with panels and carpeting in a few select standard colors designed to complement our Show colors. These few select standardized colors allow GES to contain costs and offer you a significantly discounted price. If you wish to change colors you may certainly do so by contacting GES directly for the additional surcharges that apply. The EXHIBITOR ADVANTAGE Program also includes standard graphics with your company name, however customized graphics and signage is also available directly from GES and additional costs will be quoted upon finalizing your design requirements. GES also offers a wide range of other rental displays in a variety of styles, features and colors. These will be available with details and prices available in the Exhibitor Service Kit which you will receive later this summer.
