3 Becoming an Official Service Provider Offering a product or service to members Through our comprehensive partner network, members have access to a wide range of business services, which are continually reviewed for relevance and suitability. These include a legal and tax protection insurance scheme, an around the clock legal advice helpline, health and safety and HR online support, as well as pension planning, including FSB an auto enrolment solution, vehicle services, business banking and other products and services specifically designed to help our members to grow their business and save money. We are constantly looking to further invest in relevant products and services, increasing our current offering in addition to adding new products and services to complement our existing offering to new and existing members. Becoming an Official Service Provider Member Services selection criteria The following selection criteria guide is used by us when considering which benefits and services to make available to our members. Business Benefit Benefits and services introduced must provide benefits that assist members in the management of their businesses e.g. not be a consumer benefit. Appropriate Service Benefits and services introduced are selected to avoid any potential embarrassment in terms of campaigning and lobbying. UK-wide Delivery The members must be able to access the benefits or services throughout the UK, and the provider itself to have the capacity to service a potential customer base of around 200,000* members. Commercial Advantage There must be a commercial advantage to membership in the form of benefits and services available. Ideally, benefits are exclusive to FSB, though as minimum the propositions must be better than members can obtain through the most commonly used channels. Revenue Stream The services offered to the members generate a revenue stream for the FSB. This supports the activities of the organisation as well as enabling us to minimise subscription increases. Promotional Support Service Providers selected to provide benefits and services to members must contribute to the promotion of their proposition. 3. White labelling/co-branding The Service Providers selected must be willing to promote the Products and Services in a white labelled or co-branded format (subject to regulatory restrictions). Please review this carefully before submitting your proposal. 4.
