2 Quick Start Orientation Congratulations! You have recently become a new myecon Associate. You may be thinking, what s next or how do I get started. The best way to get started is to watch the Quick Start Orientation video series. The orientation is 5 video s and takes about 90 minutes to complete, but can save you tremendous time and stress. The training is written and structured from the perspective of a very experienced leader providing you, the new Associate the information needed for you to get to a fast successful start in myecon. You should read the materials and watch the videos carefully because the information can be the difference between a successful fast start or a lot of frustration and anxiety. Additionally, it may be very beneficial to take notes and jot down questions as you watch the video. After you have watched the videos, you should be able to get your upline leader to answer questions and provide additional insight about the info. If your sponsor is not yet an EVP, you may want to get your immediate upline EVP to provide the support and insight. Put a check in the box by each task when it is completed. A PFSS Overview myecon was created to help people attain Personal Financial Success. Personal Financial Success is simply having enough cashflow to support a person s lifestyle during their working years and during their Financial Freedom years. A person needs to earn enough cashflow during their working years to support their lifestyle and to invest enough money to build adequate financial freedom or retirement assets. Our goal is to help you start acquiring more cashflow as quickly as possible. We do that by utilizing 3 Smart Cashflow Strategies: Minimize Taxes, Generate Business Income and Asset Accumulation. Let s get started! B Tax Withholding One of the quickest and easiest ways for most associates to increase their cashflow is to adjust their W-4. Adjusting your W-4 can provide immediate cashflow for investing, debt elimination or lifestyle. You can make the changes to your W-4 using the paper form or by using the IRS s Electronic Withholding Calculator on the IRS website. Watching the entire video in the BMC Training Center on completing the W-4 before you actually attempt to complete the form may be beneficial. Read the form, fill in the required info and turn it in to your employer s HR department. If you need help, ask your upline EVP or your personal tax professional. Note: Complete the form by using the instructions, just putting 10 or exempt on the W-4 is not wise or legal. The main objective is to break even with the IRS at the end of each year. ~ 2

3 C Tax Record Keeping The next way to increase your net cashflow is to keep good tax records for your Home based Business. Watch the video in the BMC Training Center on Tax Record Keeping which shows how to document a few tax deductible expenses using the CashFlow Manager (myecon signup fee, myecon monthly fee, cell phone bill, internet access bill, mileage, travel, plus meals & entertainment). You can learn full details of tax record keeping by attending a live Tax Training Class or by watching the Tax Training Class on your website in the Training Center in the Minimize Taxes section. You can also request help from your upline EVP. D CashFlow Strategist We help associates attain even more cashflow by using some of the cashflow we have already acquired to create more cashflow. We accomplish this by using our CashFlow Strategist software. We put our financial info into the software. The software creates strategic plans to help us achieve our financial goals. We have a video, titled the Cashflow Strategist, in the BMC Training Center which explains multiple sample cashflow strategies and how to use the software. Watching the video will help you understand the myecon Personal Financial Success System (PFSS). Understanding and implementing the system into your personal finances is essential because the PFSS is the foundation of myecon. In most marketing companies, associates make money only by marketing products and services. myecon is extremely powerful, because our associates make money from implementing the PFSS and by marketing products and services. As a matter of fact, history has shown us that many high income earning athletes, entertainers and network marketers have repeatedly failed financially, because they did not follow a quality PFSS. Simultaneously, history has also shown us that many mid-range income earners have been able to grow their finances and become millionaires because they followed a quality PFSS. When you have finished watching the video, if you need more clarity, ask your upline EVP for help. Additionally, you should create a personal PFSS (by completing a Cashflow Strategist on yourself), because it will help you envision a personal financial success path in myecon. You can find a written version of the strategies discussed in the video in the Document Center on your myecon website under Document #608 titled John Sample. The examples are powerful because they show Associates can be financially successful even if they are not super sales people. ~ 3

4 E Cashflow via Business Income We also help our Associates attain new cashflow by Business Building. myecon has a proven system to help us gather customers and Associates which generates commission checks. The key to making money in myecon is presenting the Personal Financial Success System to people. You simply make a target market list of people and contact them to schedule a time for each of them to hear / see a presentation. The presentation will last about 30 minutes and show information about myecon s 3 Smart Cashflow Strategies, Products, Services and Pay Plan. Study the Turnkey Business Builders System flowchart in the training manual that outlines the system for making money fast in myecon, ask your upline EVP for help if necessary. MAKE A PROSPECT LIST Let s get started on your target contact list so you can start making money. The key to making a good list is to Not Eliminate People because you think they may or may not be interested. Put everyone you can think of on the list, because you never know who s interested or who they know that might be interested. Thinking of potential names in Groupings can help build a bigger list. (Example: 5 Friends, 5 Family Members, 5 Church Members, 5 Co-workers etc.) You can use our paper Contact Manager or our Electronic Contact Manager to make the list. You can print copies of the paper contact manager by clicking on Document 611 in the Document Center on your myecon website. You can find the Electronic Contact Manager by clicking on Tools on the menu in the Business Management Center on your website. Simply write the first name of people that come to mind. You can put the detailed info about each contact on the form after you finish the initial list. Your initial list should be at least 50 people, but more is better. PIQUE & PASS The next step is to contact the people you have on the list using a technique referred to as Pique & Pass. The concept is simple, you will contact each person and pique or create interest in our business by using some Power Phrases. The phrases grab people s attention and cause them to want more information. A few examples of the power phrases are Income Shifting, myecon and Asset Accumulation. The main objective is to get the person to listen to a short recorded conference call (Sizzle Call) or to watch a short recorded video (Sizzle Video). When the prospect has listened to a sizzle call or watched the video, the objective is to get the prospect to listen to a complete myecon presentation. A great goal to accomplish is to get thirty personal prospects to hear / see a complete myecon presentation your first 30 days in the business. Let s practice using the phrases to pique interest and to pass prospects to a sizzle call or video. Remember you are calling friends, relatives or close Associates with whom you share good relations. ~ 4

[Small Talk] I am calling because I recently got involved with an organization that shows people how to utilize a concept referred to as Income Shifting, which has been putting some serious cash in people s pockets. Have you heard of it? [WFA] Independent of prospect s answer, you acknowledge the prospect s answer by saying something like, that s fine, that s great or I understand and then invite the prospect to listen to the sizzle call or video. Pass Example 1: That s fine, I have a great 3 minute recorded [CC] that I would love for you to listen to and give me your opinion. The number is, will you take just a couple of minutes to listen to it? I will call you back in a few minutes. Pique Example 2: Hi, this is. [Small Talk] I am calling because I recently got involved with an organization that shows people how to utilize a concept referred to as Asset Accumulation, which has been putting some serious cash in people s pockets. Have you heard of it? [WFA] Independent of prospect s answer, you acknowledge the prospect s answer by saying something like, that s fine, that s great or I understand and then invite the prospect to listen to the sizzle call or video. Pass Example 2: That s great, I have a powerful 3 minute recorded Video that I would love for you to watch and give me your opinion. The web link is, will you take just a couple of minutes to watch it? I will call you back in a few minutes. Pique Example 3: Hi, this is. [Small Talk] I am calling because I recently got involved with an organization called myecon. The organization has been helping people put some serious cash in the bank by utilizing some little known financial concepts. Have you heard of it? [WFA] Independent of prospect s answer, you acknowledge the prospect s answer by saying something like, that s fine, that s great or I understand and then invite the prospect to listen to more info on the concepts. Pass Example 3: I understand, I have a friend that introduced me to the concept and helped me increase my cashflow. I would love to hear your opinion on what he has to say about the concept. Will you take just a couple of minutes for me to introduce you to him by phone? [yes / answer] I will see if I can reach him now. [no / answer] When can we have a brief phone conference? If not open to phone with friend, go to recorded video or audio. ~ 5

6 Follow Up & Invite Prospect to a Complete myecon Presentation Give the prospect a few minutes to listen to the call or view the video and call him back. Don t wait on the prospect to call you back. Ask the prospect if he listened to the CC or watched the video. If no, find out when the prospect can listen to the CC or watch the video. Inform the prospect you will call him back at that time to get his opinion. If the prospect has listened to the CC or watched the video, do not say, So what do you think. In an excited voice, say to the prospect, That information is amazing, what part of the information did you like best or find most interesting? [WFA] Listen to the prospect, he will tell you what will motivate him to see / hear a complete presentation when he tells you what he liked most about the information. Independent of his response, you are going to acknowledge his answer and then invite him to a complete myecon presentation. You can acknowledge the prospect s answer by saying something like That s great, I understand, or That s fine or That s surprising. You should have the details of the presentation you want the prospect to see / hear before you call the prospect back (time, location, presenter, phone number, web address, etc.). We do several types of presentations in myecon. (In-Home BPMs, Public Group BPMs, Webinars, Conference Calls, One on One BPMs, 3- Way Teleconferences) All myecon presentations are virtually the same, but the environment in which they are done is different. You will choose the type meeting to invite a prospect to with the presentation environment in mind. Example, you might invite a longtime friend to an In-Home BPM, but someone you met recently to a live webinar. Acknowledge the Prospects Answer / Invite to Complete Presentation Example 1: That s great, I liked (info prospect said he liked best) of the information also. As a matter of fact, one of our great leaders, [Speakers Name] is doing a live webinar on date / time, and I would love for you to be my guest on the webinar. Can I expect you on the webinar? [WFA] Answer any questions using the Q & A scripts on page 9. Re-invite prospect by saying, I am excited about you being a guest on our webinar on date/time. Can I expect you to be on the webinar? (Provide webinar link to prospect.) Example 2: I understand, the system has already helped me put cash in my pocket. I would love for you to listen to one of our live webinars given by [Speaker s Name], who is an expert and has helped thousands of people generate huge cashflow using the system. Our next webinar is date / time. Can I expect you to be a guest on our next webinar? [WFA] Answer questions using the Q & A scripts on page 9. Re-invite the prospect by saying, I am excited about you being a guest on our webinar on date / time. Can I expect you to be on the webinar? (Provide webinar link to prospect.) ~ 6

7 QUICK START ORIENTATION Example 3: That s fine, the system has already helped me increase my cashflow. As a matter of fact, one of our top leaders has agreed to come to my house and share more information on the on the concept with me and a few friends. The leader, [Name] is super successful and has helped thousands of people grow their cashflow using the system. I would love for you to be one of my guest. Can I expect to see you at my house on date / time? [WFA] Answer questions using the Q & A scripts on page 9. Re-invite the prospect by saying, I am excited about you being one of my guest on date / time. Can I expect you to be at my house? Example 4: I understand, the system has already helped me put cash in my pocket. As a matter of fact, one of our great leaders is doing a presentation on the concept at location, date / time. The leader, [Name] is super successful and has helped thousands of people grow their cashflow using the system. I would love for you to be my guest at the event, can I expect to see you at the event? [WFA] Answer questions using the Q & A scripts on page 9. Re-invite the prospect by saying, I am excited about you being a guest at the event on date / time. Can I expect you to be at the event? Example 5: That s great, I am very excited about the information, and have already used it to increase my cashflow. As a matter of fact, one of our great leaders, [Speakers Name] who has been very successful with the concept has a detailed recorded CC or Video on the system. I really believe you would love the concept after listening to the CC or watching the video. Will you take a few minutes and listen to the CC or watch the video? [WFA] Answer questions using the Q & A scripts on page 9. The CC number# / web address is. Re-invite prospect to listen to the CC or watch the video, by saying, I am excited about you listening to the CC or watching the video, because the information is truly amazing. I will call you in about 20 minutes to get your opinion. Example 6: That s great, I am very excited about the information, and have already used it to increase my cashflow. As a matter of fact, one of our top leaders, [Speaker s Name], who is super successful, has been helping me by sharing detailed information about the concepts. I can get [Leader s Name] on a 3-way Teleconference and have him / her share some information and answer your questions. (Make sure the leader is available within a pre-arranged time frame, maybe minutes on a certain day.) Say to prospect, If you have a few minutes, I will try to reach [Leader s name] now. If the prospect resists, ask the prospect when you can introduce him to [Leader s Name]. If prospect does not resist, call the leader. Introduce the leader professionally and edify the leader. Also, when you introduce the prospect to the leader, edify the prospect. When the leader starts ~ 7

8 talking, be quiet until your voice is requested. Listen to the conversation and learn, you will soon be the leader speaking on the 3-way teleconference. When the call ends, thank the leader for his help and the prospect for his time. The leader would have positioned the prospect to close, by signing up immediately or setting a time for prospect to signup. When you call the prospect back, do not try to represent the business; edify the leader and the concepts, sign the prospect up or set a time for him to sign up. PRESENT & CLOSE In the prior steps, Prospect and Pique & Pass, you got a prospect to listen to a sizzle audio or video and then you invited the prospect to listen to a complete myecon presentation. The next step is for the prospect to actually hear/see the complete presentation in some form. 9 QUICK START ORIENTATION Question & Answer Scripts Q. So what s this all about? Or can you tell me more? A. It s about one of the most unique concepts in American business today. People are making money and saving money, then using the cashflow to become debt free or accumulate assets. You will learn more at the meeting (day / time). Q. What s this going to cost me? A. It s not going to cost you anything to hear the information. However, if you like what you hear, it could save you thousands of dollars annually. Q. Is this network marketing or multi-level marketing? A. Our concept works on an individual basis or a team basis, it s your choice. You will get details on this unique strategy at the meeting (day / time). Q. Is this a pyramid? A. Absolutely not. Our strategy and products have been used in all 50 states. You will love what we do when you see it at the meeting (day / time). Q. Do you have a website? A. Yes, but our concept is detailed and tailored to each individual. I ll give you the web address, but I would still like for us to have a quick follow-up conversation so I can answer your questions and provide more details. Q. Do I have to sell anything? A. Our core concepts are based on financial strategies that do not require you to sell anything. However, many of our happy clients become business associates. Q. What are you selling? A. Our core system is based on information and a unique financial strategy. However, we also provide services that save our clients serious money. You will love the overall concept when you see it. I hope you will attend on (day / time). Q. How are you doing in business? A. I just got started, but I have already increased my cashflow by.
